Hi! Welcome to my 5 pregnancy!Wow i cant believe i `m pregnant again. Its really hard for me to accept it this time around as this wasnt a planned pregnancy. I mean who in their right mind would want 5 kids. But oh well here i am and i plan on having this baby. X

Wednesday, 27 Feb

11 weeks and 1 day. I went to the clinic for my check up today. What a total waste of time. The nurse was useless. She never did the proper tests like my blood pressure or my urine. She didnt ask me how i `m doing. She didnt even checked my weight. All the did was give me folic acid told me to take 1 a week and come back in 2 months time! Wish i had money for a private dr!!

A couple of hours from week 16. Wow! Cant believe it. I made peace with this pregnancy and looking forward to the rest of it. Although heartburn is killing me lately. Still dont have much energy but i hope it will change soon. The thought of having another baby kinda scares me. Not one of my kids were good newborns. I pretty much lived in a daze for the 1st 9 weeks. And i guess this one wont b any different. But i can hope cant i? If things work out i `m going for a scan this week. But maybe i must wait 2 more weeks so i can find out the sex of my baby. I `m sure its a boy, but u never know. I dont know how i `m gonna cope with another child. The older 2 boys r in their pre-teens and becoming extremely difficult to live with. The younger 2 is still so small! I still c my daughter as a baby even if she `s almost 2. And oh boy the terrible twos has come early. Way to early. On the brighter side of things my mom had 6 kids in 8 years. And if she could cope, so can i! :)

Hi how u feeling today?Im so excited coz i got my fetal heart rate monitor today and it was amazing.I almost cried

.Heidelberg is about 40 or 50 kms from u.Not that far if u go immediatly after ur water breaks.The cances of me going or having a birthing centre or homebirth is zero although i would love it,medical aid does not pay for it.I also have a low lying placenta and may have to have a c section

Hey yeah i also found another south african after i got your msg.Theres nothing wrong with having no medical.I took my one pregnant friend to all the state hospitals so she could choose which one she wants to go with and that was about november last year and vere oos did not look all that well as there was blood everywhere in the delivery room and the staff was extremely rude.I just wanna make a suggestion since ive heard only great stuff about heidelberg state hospital.Its is far though,but im sure the experience will be much better.Its all for u to choose.I changed from gynae to midwife and im looking forward to the experience as midwifes are great support and help.Theres just one problemo,i wanted to give birth at sunward park hospital in boksburg but they do not execpt midwifes so now i have to go to linksfield park clinic which is 41 kms from us.Oh well all is good and well exepct that these pains gowing is killing me.

Wow how lovely to have someone as close as u going thru the same thing,although im only 16 weeks.lol.I have been looking for a south african since i registerd and i realy think were the only 2.So how u feeling?Are u gonna have a c section or normal birth?And in what hospital u having ur baby?Do u also stay in brakpan and if u do what area?Enjoy ur night and hope all goes well.

Hi there ! Nope....we haven't started buying anything yet ! We need to get the spare room sorted out first...and make it into a nursery before we can put anything in there. We've decided that I'm going to take 1 year off to be a full time Mom...might be a bit scary financially..but we will just have to take it one day at a time. Fortunately I work from home, and my boss has told me that my job is available if and when I want to start working again (which is great to have as a back-up !) How much do you think we need Rand-wise for a new born per month ? Taking into consideration nappies etc...?

Sorry it's taking me so long to get back with you. I"m so busy lately. I don't have anyone helping me while Ryan's working, and lately I"ve had appointments, and he has and I bring him to work and pick him up. I Feel as though poor Hannah's in the car so much, and it's stressful to feed her on a schedule while driving around. HOwever today I told him to take the car, and I'll walk to my counsling appoinment, it's not far. And I"m not doing anything else today but staying in the house, and maybe alittle walk. I gained 3 lbs yesterday while at dr. I'm not happy about that at all, so it's diet time, and exercising for me now. I know not to do too much, oh and ya I do keep her formula at room temperature. I usually make 8 oz in large bottle and keep it in the fridge, then I can pour out what I need at each feeding, and warm it up in the microwave for a few seconds. Then it's not warm and not so cold too. IT works out great for me. I know some say never to use the micro wave but I'm not heating it up hot. just taking the chill off. Anyway Don't do too much unpacking, and if you can't find the tea around there, you can always get it off the internet. Good Luck to you hun, I can't wait til you have that baby.... How exciting... Hi Rosie....I can't believe u are in week 35 and I am in week 22 !! Time has just flown. Remember when I was like 8 weeks and was wishing I could be at your stage he he Now you are nearly there ;-) How are things going ? All okay ? Did you find out what you are having ?
