Hi! Welcome to my 5 pregnancy!Wow i cant believe i `m pregnant again. Its really hard for me to accept it this time around as this wasnt a planned pregnancy. I mean who in their right mind would want 5 kids. But oh well here i am and i plan on having this baby. X

11 weeks and 1 day. I went to the clinic for my check up today. What a total waste of time. The nurse was useless. She never did the proper tests like my blood pressure or my urine. She didnt ask me how i `m doing. She didnt even checked my weight. All the did was give me folic acid told me to take 1 a week and come back in 2 months time! Wish i had money for a private dr!!

A couple of hours from week 16. Wow! Cant believe it. I made peace with this pregnancy and looking forward to the rest of it. Although heartburn is killing me lately. Still dont have much energy but i hope it will change soon. The thought of having another baby kinda scares me. Not one of my kids were good newborns. I pretty much lived in a daze for the 1st 9 weeks. And i guess this one wont b any different. But i can hope cant i? If things work out i `m going for a scan this week. But maybe i must wait 2 more weeks so i can find out the sex of my baby. I `m sure its a boy, but u never know. I dont know how i `m gonna cope with another child. The older 2 boys r in their pre-teens and becoming extremely difficult to live with. The younger 2 is still so small! I still c my daughter as a baby even if she `s almost 2. And oh boy the terrible twos has come early. Way to early. On the brighter side of things my mom had 6 kids in 8 years. And if she could cope, so can i! :)

Monday, 29 September I have been having the same bottle thoughts. We even have them and formula but I really want to wait till she is 6 weeks if I can before giving her a bottle. She sure is demanding though. Today hss been an ok day. I got stew in the slow cooker, laundry going and gave her a bath. No shower for me yet but that is just how it is til dad gets home. And we have tons of family around but they make me more nuts than trying to keep up sometimes. Don't the lasy 2-3 weeks feel like months? When you are up so much I think time spins differently. tandiann -
Monday, 29 September It sounds like a good thing that you took him in to get him checked out. Dehydration is so serious with these little ones. My son was 18 months old and had a nasty flu that wouldn't go away and he ended up super dehydrated and was admitted into the hospital for 5 days and he still threw up for the first 3 days he was there. But he got thru it ok. The stupid thing was that I had taken him to the dr twice and they told me he was fine and to let it run it's course and the last day when I called them they told me that it was too close to closing but that for my peace of mind I could take him to the ER and they could tell me he was just fine. Well, he was still just a baby by my standards and he was not acting like himself. When I would pick him up while he was asleep, he would not even respond by tensing up, when he woke to throw up, he would just lay back and pass out without sucking his thumb or snuggling his puppy. It was too much. When I took him in to the ER they said if I had waited til morning to get him looked at it may have been too late. Like he may have ended up in a coma kinda thing. So I always use my 'mommy-sense' with my babies. No dr can beat that. But I am glad to hear he is doing better and that they were able to figure out the problem and resolve it. My baby girl is well. I mean, I am sleep deprived and not eating as well as I should but we are adjusting. She sure has a routine. If she wakes up even 10 minutes later than normal I can feel my milk let down. I have no clue what her schedule is but my body sure does. She wakes, poops, gets a change, nurses, and goes back to sleep. Most of the time at least. She will stay awake sometimes to look around and try to figure things out. Her cord stump finally came off today. I am so glad cuz I was always worried about infection and hurting her by bumping it. So anyhow, I will let you go get back to life. I am still trying to figure out how anyone does this. I have no time for anything but baby stuff. I can't imagine cooking and cleaning and caring for other kids. Not that I get out of all of that but I have not been keeping up my regular standard of house-wiferey. Tell me it gets easier soon? Like really soon would be good. *emma-jane* -

Saturday, 27 September Oh no! I'm sorry to hear about gary's jaundice. Sebby had it too while he was still in the hospital. I feel silly saying it's been a difficult adjustmant when I'm only dealing with one baby--I can't imagine having any more around right now. You must be one tough cookie. I'ts been really hard, I was diagnosed with post partum depression and I'm on medication and in therepy--the medication seems to help more than the silly therepist:) It's all been a bit of a kick in the pants really--I never expected any of this, but my son is beautiful and he's worth all of the stress and anxiety his early birth and the post partum issues have caused. How much does Gary eat? I feel like Sebastian is eating too much! He eats about four ounces per feeding and eats every two ours, sometimes less, during the day. He's 11 lbs already at 5weeks. He's demanding the food though, it's not like I'm forcing it on him but I'm worried I'm over feeding him! Shan -
Friday, 26 September The green slimy poo is a sign that you need to let your baby nurse longer on the first breast.
It means your baby is most likely getting only foremilk. The hind milk comes in at the end of the feeding and it's where all the calories are. The foremilk is a "filler" of sorts. Here is more info for you:

Congrats on your new baby!!! babydoll76 -
Thursday, 25 September i have been very busy with the baby the last few days. i will upload pictures soon. i had her on 9/17 at 12:30 pm via c-section. how is everything going for you? professorpreggers -
Wednesday, 24 September Oh, I love the photo--he's adorable! I'm glad you went with Gary--I think it's a great name:) How are you feeling? Have you recovered yet? Sebastian is doing well, he's already over 10lbs and he usually only wakes twice during the night to eat which is great for keeping ones sanity! I don't know how mums do it with more than one! Hats off to you! tandiann -
Wednesday, 24 September They hook the baby up to fiber optic lights to help break down the red blood cells that need to be put out as waste. The lights break it down so that is can be peed or pooped out so it gets out faster. She has had the light belt on since Saturday night and we are hoping that she can be off tomorrow. We can hold her and all the normal newborn stuff she just has a 4" wide belt around her tummy that glows kinda bluish. There is a heavy hose thing that connects it to the machine. It is about the size of a shoe box. They can get better on their own if it is not too bad but she went from a 7 on Wednesday to 14 on Friday to 16 Satuday to 16.4 Sunday and to 16.3 Monday and today finally to 13.6. So she is on her way to better. They want to see 10 or less. Normal is 0-3. But usually sunlight will de the trick. I want to load pictures but I seem to only ever hav just a minute of computer time and once I do my business stuff it only leaves a moment to goof off. I don't know what I will de when Dh goes back to work on Friday. And Yes all went well in to hospital. I will try and post my pics and story soon. my2sweetbabies -

AWWW HE IS SO CUTE.!!!! CONGRATS.HOW WAS YOUR BIRTH EXPERIENCE? *emma-jane* -
Monday, 22 September ok.got pains on friday evening after a sweep that morning-then the pains stopped! i was so upset! woke up on saturday morning around 6.30 with little contractions by 10.30 am i had to go to the delivery suite.i wanted an epidural but they had no time as i'd gone from 4 cm to 9 in under an hour! had gas and air and a straight forward vaginal birth with no tearing but omg it hurt!! mia had 2 knots in her cord and it was around her neck but thanks to the quick actions of the midwife she was delivered safely.she weighed in at 9lb 10 oz which isnt my biggest baby - but i felt it! every oz of it! thank you to everyone for their lovely comments and support and big hugs to you all,i've 'met' some wonderful ladies thanks to this site and its been a pleasure! i'm not doing the pregnancy thing again but what i am doing is a midwifery course! i'm baby bonkers. love and best wishes to you all - see you as soon as i get another 5 mins to myself ! lol xxx mommyofthreetobe -

Sunday, 21 September Awe he is so cute! He looks like a little blondie. Aren't they so sweet at this age? Mine is now 6 days old. It goes by fast and slow at the same time. Everything went fine and I will post up pics soon. She has a full head of nearly black hair. She also has jaundice so she is being treated for that at the moment. But she sleeps well and nurses like mad. We have been tracking her used diapers and time and duration of feedings cuz she has jaundice. They say 8 to 12 feedings in 24 hours is good. Well it hasn't even been 24 hours yet and she has nursed 15 times! But I don't mind the extra snuggle time. And yeah, life is crazy. It is Sunday and the last time I was on was last Sunday. I have been so distracted.
