ok.got pains on friday evening after a sweep that morning-then the pains stopped! i was so upset! woke up on saturday morning around 6.30 with little contractions by 10.30 am i had to go to the delivery suite.i wanted an epidural but they had no time as i'd gone from 4 cm to 9 in under an hour! had gas and air and a straight forward vaginal birth with no tearing but omg it hurt!! mia had 2 knots in her cord and it was around her neck but thanks to the quick actions of the midwife she was delivered safely.she weighed in at 9lb 10 oz which isnt my biggest baby - but i felt it! every oz of it! thank you to everyone for their lovely comments and support and big hugs to you all,i've 'met' some wonderful ladies thanks to this site and its been a pleasure! i'm not doing the pregnancy thing again but what i am doing is a midwifery course! i'm baby bonkers. love and best wishes to you all - see you as soon as i get another 5 mins to myself ! lol xxx

kids will be kids. i am doing fine and Levi is great. we have had our days of non stop crying but they are few. i guess it goes with it. How are you feeling? is your hubby helping? i worry about you.

Awe he is so cute! He looks like a little blondie. Aren't they so sweet at this age? Mine is now 6 days old. It goes by fast and slow at the same time. Everything went fine and I will post up pics soon. She has a full head of nearly black hair. She also has jaundice so she is being treated for that at the moment. But she sleeps well and nurses like mad. We have been tracking her used diapers and time and duration of feedings cuz she has jaundice. They say 8 to 12 feedings in 24 hours is good. Well it hasn't even been 24 hours yet and she has nursed 15 times! But I don't mind the extra snuggle time. And yeah, life is crazy. It is Sunday and the last time I was on was last Sunday. I have been so distracted.

My bloke is pretty good with stuff like that so I can't complain, he's helped out alot with baby! I suppose I have friends I can talk to but I reckon they will think I'm stupid or weak, do u think its more than baby blues? Today I feel ok, but 2moro I may feel bad again so don't know really! How come u haven't got many real friends if u don't mind me asking... x

i'm not 100% sure but i think there maybe something happening here!had a sweep this morning and i've been getting some contractions since about 9 pm its now 11 pm.i'm not sure if it will turn into the real thing but we'll see!

I don't know what the colostrum is supposed to look like, LOL. I wonder if there is a picture of it on google. That would be so strange, but then again, I have seen many other weird things on google. I'm curious now, LOL>

LOL!! Everything went well. I think we were gone a little too long though...it took our 22 month old about a week to get back to "normal". He had 4 days with grandparents...that's never a good thing (for us, anyway). He came back spoiled rotten..lol. Baby Michael is doing well, too. It's hard to believe he's really here--finally!

Oh man, it's a tough call. I almost used michael as my son's middle name--took me up to the week he was born to make up my mind. In all fairness, Justin and Michael are more common names so there will be more of them around as your son grows up but does that really matter if you like the name and it's meaning? How is your sleep by the way? Baby still being good? I've finally had a run of four nights were Sebastian only wakes twice for feedings thank God! I think I would have lost my mind if he kept up with the every two hours thing.

i was at my moms all weekend and didn't log on. how is everything with the new addtion. hope all is well. me still pregnant. i am convenced that she is going to walk out of me. i have a s/g today and i see my doctor tomorrow. i will keep you posted. talk soon
