I know exactly what you mean... I can't see how I can love something so much that I haven't even held or physically touched, but then again, it has touched me. It is such a wonderful feeling, and I can totally see how mom's get so protective over their babies... because I literally will break bones of anyone who tries to hurt him. You just become so aware of things, and realize that little things are now not important.
That is so awesome with the flip.. :) My baby always played possum during our ultrasounds... but now that I can feel him moving (kicing or jabbing) it is nice to know he is in there, being active and that is all that matters. :)

hi, i have ben getting a little moody lately, I think the closer I get to due date the more I panic. I hope I make a good mum, I worry about so many things at the mo it stops me to enjoy my pregnancy but some times I don't even know what I am feeling down about. What about you? How do you feel?

hi, no problem , you can write me when ever you have time. There seems to be lot of baby boys around, we still don't know what we are having, my hubby told midwife we don't want to know the sex as soon as we entered the scan room so she was very carefull when she was talking about the baby not to let it slip out the sex. Watching baby on the screen was amazing experience.You can see a tiny little person moving around and this is inside you, it's unbelievable like a magic. I have placed the new scan picture on my page have a look , I think it looks very clear. Do you have your baby scan pictures?

hellooo there :) I am feeling much better these days thanks for asking! I have my moments but for the most part I've been feeling good. Ya, it is definitely exciting feeling the first movements...lots of movement on mother's day of all days so I had my own private gift that day (because of course i'm "not a mother yet" so i didn't get to celebrate it!) went to the midwife's yesterday for my monthly apt. and uterus is right on target and got to hear the heartbeat which is always amazing and surreal! they are scheduling an u/s for between 18-20 weeks so i will definitely find out the sex if baby cooperates. everyone thinks it's a boy and i always had the "feeling" that it's a boy so i would be very surprised if it turned out to be a girl... i always thought i preferred having boys, but now that it's a reality i actually have ceased having any preference at all. we got the name picked already for a girl but we can't settle on a name for a boy, we have a few top contenders but haven't stuck to just one yet. anyway, no worries on how much you do a specific excercise, as long as you're keeping active and feeling good about it, that's all i care about! i missed the pool this monday because i didn't bring enough food with me to sustain a workout, and the rest of this week has been busy with other things and am going up to the cottage today (yay!) ... Because the pool is one of my only sources of excercise i feel bad about missing it (bad=guilty & bad=frustrated that i couldn't go cause i want(ed) to go) anyway, I'm gonna ask around and find out what are the best pregnancy excercise dvd's i can get so i can start doing some excercises at home on those days i don't go to the pool. annnnyhoodle i should get a move on, i have a looong weekend of fun to attend to! :)

Hi, I hope baby will be little more cooperative next friday. What would you like to have, boy or girl?I am not going to find out, I want it to be surprise to everyone and it realy doesn't matter since it's my first baby, as long as every thing is in the right place and healthy. I can still decorate baby's room but just not with blues and pinks, i think all other colours will be ok . my 20 week scan appointment is on the 9th may, feel little anxious about it, not sure why. Baby is moving alot now but beggining of the week didn't move for 3 days, it really gave me a scare. How do you feel?

hi hi, managed to get to the pool twice last week, but i have been feeling awful yet again. can't seem to make my head stop throbbing, so i opted for a latte to see if some caffeine would work but it doesn't seem to have. oh and barfing is new for me too, i had 24 hr nausea in the early weeks but now it seems to have gotten worse. sigh. i hope i'm not gonna be one of the unlucky ones who feels like crap all the way through the pregnancy :( on the up side i have begun to notice the "quickening" fluttery baby feelings.. so that gets me pretty excited! you should post a belly pic. i haven't taken any progression pictures because i wanted to do it when my belly looked more pregnant than it does fat but i will soon :)

your 4 months... in your fifth is "medical" term really like you are gearing towards your 5th month. In reality pregnancy is more like 10months ... hope this helps! Congrats and hope you had a great day at work, well if there is such a thing haha take care

You are 4 months and (approx) 2 weeks pregnant, which means you're two weeks into your fifth month.

So when it says four months it means four entire months but you are into your fifth month :)

yep, i'm going to have to be patient. well will you find out the sex of your baby before you deliver? i'm not sure if they're going to give me another ultra sound i'm hoping they will.

hey thanks for the kind words :) oh i can't wait to be able to feel the movements! even though i'm still "sick" with symptoms i'm still having a hard time feeling pregnant, just fat! You know, i've wanted to be a mom since i was a young teenybopper! I've just always known I would be a good mom and knew that that was my life's calling, not to have some grande career and was always so excited for it to happen. Now that the time is now, it feels totally surreal. Again, i don't really feel all that pregnant yet, so i guess when i can feel baby more and it starts to show more i may feel more of a connection to the fact that i'm going to be a mom for real! - but as it stands right now, i'm still feeling a wee shocked at the idea. It's so funny, because i wanted this day to happen for so long and now that it has i can't seem to make it feel real! anyway, i've started to ramble i'll zip it now ;)

It's funny that you say that, b/c I told myself,well if I AM ABLE to see the baby's gender this U/S I will be happy, and I am like dying to know!!!!! but then I was like if I don't get to see him/her "offically" then I will not try to find out, and I agree w/ u on that I am a big planner and need to be organized and in control, and this time I feel like I can be comfortable with not knowing, but that doesn't mean I am not going to try first....LOL...he he he

hiya, so i got through last week, mostly on the couch... this week feeling dizzy/lightheaded and headachey, but i went to the pool last night anyway.. starting to feel unattractive and fat so that was more motivation than anything! it went ok, i didn't overly push myself so i wouldn't end up feeling sick. I don't know about you but when i get into a fight with my beau (especially if it's about "laziness") all i want to do is eat crappy food and get fatter just to tick him off!! but then of course, i'm the one that feels worse in the end! anway, how'd your week go?

ok, you are starting to seriously freak me out!!! i wanted to do Claire Lynn because my grandmother's (who raised me so is technically my mom) name is Carolyn...and it would sound the same. And she passed away a couple of years ago. but there are two many L's with the last name allen too...so we are going with elizabeth after my little sister's middle name. :)
