I like mmck suggestion. As you lay down in the evening time preparing for bed rub your belly and begin talking to your little bean. It helps out a lot. I miscarried in 10/07 and I wal only 8 weeks yet my husband and I was very much attached because of the converstations we had with our little one. My husband has 2 kids from previous relationships and I have one. So this is our first.

When I was about 12 weeks, I would lay down every night and start to feel my lower belly getting harder. I would spend a few minutes thinking about nothing but my baby, my husband, and me! I felt like it was the start of my bonding with my little guy. Good luck!!

Hi RubySue,

I too am extremely terrified of what is to come. My husband and I originally didn't want children, we are career orientated, so this has come as a huge surprise!! I am scared of not eating right, scared of doing something wrong that will harm the baby, and most of all, scared of the delivery!!

ur so sweet. wait til you actually birth ur baby--that was the first time i had a clear understanding of unconditional love a truly god-like love. Even slightly over the god-like love i have for my husband. I shed a few tears but really it was like this odd, warm, quiet calming blanket of understanding came over me and I knew this child was picked out special for me--its gonna be a fun ride lol ;) keep in touch babe~
