Sunday, 2 November Just a question...can men (father-to-be) get post-pardum depression after the baby is born? I believe they can and I think Jay has it now. He's been really down and out and his mood changed a week after Shayna was born. mommaxamanda -

Monday, 6 October Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com
Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Friday, 19 September SHAYNA'S HERE! She was born on Tuesday, September 16th at 1:35 in the afternoon. I was in labor for ONLY 3 in a half hours!!! Such a smooth and easy labor. She's beautiful...looks just like her father. Black fuzzy hair, dark blue eyes. (Which will most likely change to brown.) She's still in the hospital though because she has Jaundice. She's under a UV light, and the longer she stays under there the faster she'll get better. So, hopefully she'll be home on Saturday. mommaxamanda -
Sunday, 14 September Hey everyone... I'm being induced tomorrow (September 15th) most likely at night, so she might be here early morning September 16th. yay. Finally!

Wednesday, 10 September Just want to let everybody know that I'm STILL pregnant and tomorrow is my due date. I feel like my worst fear is coming true...my daughter will be born on 9/11. If she is, I'm fine with that..I just want her to be healthy. The doctor won't induce me until I'm a week late...so let's all pray I don't go 1 whole week and my water naturally breaks. I'm sick of being pregnant because lately I've been getting horrible charlie horses. newbie-mami -

Sunday, 31 August It might sound funny, but you could tell your partner to lick your nipples, and stimulate them with his mouth (it's not a joke) when you stimulate the nipples it produces the same hormone that you produce when you are in labor it's called oxitocine. Try it, it won't do any harm :) you might even enjoy it

Friday, 6 June Hi there! I've had SPD with all 4 of my pregnancies and have had 3 homebirths after a horrible hospital birth experience with my first. I didn't have any problems with laboring or delivery with my homebirths. That's the beauty of homebirth....you have the freedom to deliver how it is comfortable for YOU, not how it is convenient for the doctors. Homebirth is a wonderful experience, and I am truly sad I have just had my last baby and won't be experiencing it again. Good luck to you! momoftwo -
Thursday, 5 June Hi Ruth, I will let you know how my homebirth goes. Excited, but nervous at the same time. I got adjusted (my husbands a chiropractor fortunately) about a week ago and my pain is gone! Give chiropractic a chance. I can't imagine going through the pain I was in for another month. Good luck with your homebirth as well! :)
