November 18th, 2008 - As of tomorrow at 8am I'm going to be induced. I'm scared out of my wits. I really can not wait to see him, but I'm sooooo scared that I'm not going to the best mom, or could i handle the labor? what if something goes wrong? What if the daddy isnt there the moment he comes? Am I going to be able to breastfeed? How am I going to manage my time? Will I ever think of being the best at work like I always have now that i have a baby? Will people think of me differently because I'm a mother? Will my fiance ever think I'm attractive again? I'm all mixed emotions right now. I think i'm feeling everyone that is in the book. I dont know what to expect from an induction, like will it make me sick, will it hurt more than natural, will it work, what does it feel like, what are the side effects? OMG my mind is racing a million miles an hour. I absolutely hate hospitals, and i'm going to be stuck in one for 2 days. I'm trying to breathe....this is really really scary.

glad to hear all is good at your end. my husband asked me last night if i'm always going to stay this big ....he was REALLY worried and scared. LOL
am usually 115lbs....gained 10 lbs when we moved to USA, and am currently at 155 lbs!!! still 3 months to go!!!!!!
congrats on the first baby furniture! we still haven't started with the room yet. Next week though.
My daughters are back in school and that's been giving me some extra time in the mornings. How about yourself?

Hey, had two re-treatments of a root canal done coz they messed them up in egypt ;-( both times i got some pain numbing that's not as strong as the regular stuff, and it wears off faster. my doc said it's ok.....if it can't be avoided! good luck!!! how is all else???

I am a dental asst- Yes you can because they have a numbing agent that doesn't contain any drugs. You should be fine.

If you can, I highly recommend taking a BF class. I learned things I never would have had I not taken the class. Like how good breast feeding is for YOU, the mom. I just figured it was good for the baby...but it actually does wonderful things for mom too. I BF my last baby and it didn't start off well but I'm so glad I stuck it out. I'm so looking forward to bfing this little one. Good luck to you!

to prepare for breastfeeding i am toughening up my nipples by rubbing them with wash cloths, practicing rolling my nipples or something like that because it is suppose to stimulate nipples for feeding or something like that... i am also preparring myself for pumping extra and having plenty of milk bags/bottles, getting breast pads and also this real cool thing that is for when your breasts hurt so much you can either freeze it or heat it and wear it all the time because it has a cut out for the nipple lol

Today I went to a Children's Place store - 5.99 sale so I bought 12M size. For next summer. Got quite a bit :). I saw my Chiropractor today - my hip is sore but good excuse not to vacuum. I registered at Babies R Us - my Girlfriend came with me and told me what was good and what was gimicky! We are hoping on 2 kiddies so the furniture and stuff will be reused have a great weekend!

Damn Girl!!! It's ok! Us pregnant woman need to vent like that at times! It's all good! I don't blame you for getting mad either! They have no room to be butting into your personal life any way! I know it may be hard, but do what you can to brush them off. It's those kind of people that will keep doing it if they know that they are getting to you! If you ever need to blab, go for it! No prob - how did you figure all this out? People do strange things. I would be upset as well in this situation - you should message her and/or report it - this is supposed to be a support/chat place - NO place for liars if you ask me :) How are you feeling? My back is killing me - around my rib cage by evening time... eeeekkkkk alread only 6.5 months and I am already crampy!!!!
