November 18th, 2008 - As of tomorrow at 8am I'm going to be induced. I'm scared out of my wits. I really can not wait to see him, but I'm sooooo scared that I'm not going to the best mom, or could i handle the labor? what if something goes wrong? What if the daddy isnt there the moment he comes? Am I going to be able to breastfeed? How am I going to manage my time? Will I ever think of being the best at work like I always have now that i have a baby? Will people think of me differently because I'm a mother? Will my fiance ever think I'm attractive again? I'm all mixed emotions right now. I think i'm feeling everyone that is in the book. I dont know what to expect from an induction, like will it make me sick, will it hurt more than natural, will it work, what does it feel like, what are the side effects? OMG my mind is racing a million miles an hour. I absolutely hate hospitals, and i'm going to be stuck in one for 2 days. I'm trying to breathe....this is really really scary.

I measured 17 wks 6 days and was 17 wks 3 days, so not much off. I have been about right on the whole time so...... He was 7 in long and 9 oz!!!! Good luck on the big u/s, hope he or she cooperates!! Let me know how it goes.

I have a feeling I'm having a boy.. don't know why but just that feeling. My husband is not making any predictions. Who knows? I'm the type that always picks the wrong direction at first so I'm sure I'm wrong about this!!

Yeah I'm worried my dr is gonna put me on shakes too...espesially if I go back next month and lose more weight. Thats great that you find out on the 7th..Im just dying to find out so I can start decorating the nursery!

Having a glucose test, tests you for Gestional Diabetes during pregnancy. You are supposed to be between 110 and 130. 130 is the highest and I am at 153. Its where you go in and drink this drink and then an hour later you get your blood taken. Since I didn't pass mine, I have to go in tomorrow morning and get my blood taken for three hours every hour. When are you supposed to go in for yours?

Things are good. We had our monthly appointment today. So I got to hear the heartbeat. I am for some crazy reason LOSING weight! I've somehow managed (without trying) to lose 5 pounds since I got pregnant. My doctor said that losing weight won't hurt the baby cause the baby will take whatever it needs from me...but it'll be at my expence.she said I need to eat more protein and stuff. It's kinda crazy cause I feel like I'm eating alot already. Ahhh oh well. 12 more days till we find out the gender! Did you find out yet??? How's the pregnancy going?

Hey girl, I'm doing OK. I just got word from the Dr saying that I failed my one hr glucose test and now I have to go back tomorrow morning and take the three hr test. I'm not looking up to that at all. How is your pregnancy going?

My doc is off Ogden 34, in the Rush Copley Medical Center there. But they referred me to MCAI or something of the sorts which is off IL59, after 75th. Went there before for Mammogram and MRI and they are very professional, and kind of fancy. Oh well....Yes, if little baby will let us peek we want to find out the sex. All our babystuff got given away coz we never thought we'd have more ;-) uuuuppps... ;-) Will you find out the sex? Any preference?

i was going thru some really emotional mood swings as well for a few weeks. was very draining and VERY unlike me. feeling better now though. am also keeping busy which helps...;-)
no, don't know when my u/s will be. going in to doc tomorrow for quad screening, and will make appointment then. they said around the 20 week mark....hmmm, that's still 5 weeks to go!!!! what about you??

No prenatal? I thought that was procedure. But every female that finds out I'm pregnant asks me if I'm taking prenatal vitamins. You're lucky though...they're expensive! $35 for mine and that's with insurance. I'm showing a little. Not embarrassed though...I love it!
