Hi everyone, thank you to everyone who has sent their best wishes to Poppy and I. I have put up some pic's (sorry for the quality they are from Cherrish's phone as my camera will not upload ahhh) & i have also added my birth story. All my luv to you dear amazing ladies. Hello ladies, Poppy Jane arrived on 02.11.08 at 14.20 and weighed in at 9lb 2 oz. Labour did not go very well and i am just home from hospital. I will post pics shortly. Lots of luv Sharon n Poppy xxxxx

Hi all, sorry for not replying to everyones msgs individualy i promise i will shortly.... Bit grumpy at the mo My waters broke at 6.30 am i went to the hospital as there was a large amount of blood in it after a very long wait i was finaly seen and sent home as i'm not in labour. I have times when im doubled up in pain and times when i could run a marathon, but no active labour and it is now 6.55pm I'm so so fed up sorry to whine. I will keep you all updated. I had an appointment with my midfife this morning for a sweep which went well. I am a stretchy 2cm's dilated and fully effaced my pp+2 and i'm measuring 42 weeks with an 8lb er She said she could have broken my waters. (Why diddn't she) at least it means if i do need to be induced it's just a case of breaking them which should make the labour quicker....

So why exsactly would you be induced on the 22nd? If your due date is the 5th...?cause you said if you didnt go into labor on your own... So your doc will induce you 15 days before your due date? Hmm werid but cool.

No- it's more like waxy with a little pinkish tint. Or at least mine was (for my last pregnancy) I'm pretty sure mine is falling out slowly for this one, of coarse I'm not really sure. I think I lost mine at 37 weeks last time and it came out in 2 pieces. You can search Mucus Plug on the information page of this site and there is a picture of one. It's really gross but at least it will help you identify it.

Some changes, last week I was 2 cm and over 50% effaced, doc said baby was head down based on pelvic exam so I don't know what that means as far as station goes, but I'm going to ask this week since I felt the baby drop on Saturday. So, things are going good :) I can't wait to meet him! Good luck again and keep us all posted!

Labor was not hard at all. I loved the epideral once it kicked in. I will post pics soon. Yea we are at home. He was very healthy to be premature. Thank God!
