Monday, 30 June Is this your first c-section? I am trying not to be terrified. I guess it is going to happen whether I am scared or not. Good luck! shannonjwhite2004 -
Monday, 30 June I went into the hospital at 7am on monday the 23 to have india, i called them at 5am and they told me to come in at 7 but i would have to wait awhile because they where pretty busy, so i decided to go in and get regastared and then get me something to eat. well when i registared she said i have a room for you so it was over for breakfast lol. i got a iv and started the potcin and by 6pm i had only dialated 1cm so the dr told me he was taking me off the potocin intill 5am and we would start over . so that is what we did i spent the night having pains from the potocin that was still in my body and when they checked me on tuesday morning i was 2cm dialated. went back on the drip and spent the day in pain at about 4 pm we decided to go with a epi and break my water even though she was pretty high up. he said he wanted to give the epi first incase there where some complactions so we could rush to surgery. well it went fine and i stayed in labor all night still barely dialateing my epi stopped working and i was feeling everything they gave me another dose and the nurse put a blood pressure cup on my leg and set the machine for every 2 mins and said she would do that for 15 mins well she didn't come back for 2 hours. and my foot was swelled up like a football. it was awfull she was the nurse from hell. at 7 am my nurses from the day before who took great care of me where back. my nurse checked me and i was 5 cm dialated and 100% efaced. my dr came in 30 mins later checked me again and said that if i haven't done anything by 12 pm we were going to surgery, at 11 my nurse checked me again and said my cervics was swelling and dr came back and said we where headed to surgery. India Jewell Simpson arrived at 12:24 pm June 25 2008 she was 7 pounds and 13 ounces 19 inches long and all jaws lol.. i forgot how instantly you fall in love with your child it was the most beautiful moment i have ever experanced with the man i love by myside holding my hand we welcomed our little girl into the world. i think it was the most personal experance i have ever shared with another person, when they got her out and gave her to him and he showed me her i just started balling he had tears running down his face and it was so overwhelming. I love him so much for giving me this little girl and i hope we are able to raise her together and make it as a family. jennifer -

Tuesday, 24 June hello, I also feel the way you describe it. I feel like im having this baby any day now. CAn barely walk, wehn I sit its almost impossible fo rme to get up, I have BH everyday, and have those little period like cramping as well. My lower back is killing me and I just dont feel normal. Went to the DR she says everything is ok, but she predicts baby will be here in a couple weeks so my body is preparing for labor. I really hope she is coming out soon because I honestly dont think I can make it all the way til July 21... : ( Good luck to you Ignazia -

Friday, 20 June Buenos Dias Mamacitas! This is my first update. Exciting! Sierra is officially in her 4th month as of yesterday. She's done some crazy stuff in the past couple of weeks -- rolled over; held her bottle; gone to the movie theater; and sucked her thumb. She went to the doctor's office today for her Polio and Hib vaccinations. No, she didn't cry. Not a peep. I keep telling the doctor that's she not in tune with her body (lol). Unfortunately, she's been very fussy since we got home though. If she's not eating or sleeping, she's crying and needs to be cuddled to relaxed. It's not a fun experience, that's for sure. Well, that's all. I'll post some pictures soon. I took 1200 yesterday so I'm still sorting through them! Take care and rub your bellies and hug your babies for us. Jeni and Sierra beirutbebe -
Thursday, 19 June I will be having mine next Friday at exactly 39 weeks. I am starting to get a little nervous about the spinal though since i am terrified of needles. I know it's better than an epidural though so hopefully they will just me something to relax me before they do the spinal. Did you breastfeed or bottlefeed after the c-section? beirutbebe -
Thursday, 19 June hi! i read ur post about the spinal and i was wondering if u felt anything during the c -section? also, would u consider the pain with spinal like a shot or worse? anso -
