Thursday, 14 Feb Hi! I'm the one with name problems...maybe it'll help if we share names. My son's name is Trey Patrick and the girl name that we have picked is Taryn Ann. Just throwing out ideas...I LOVE Irish names so any help from you would be appreciated! Thanks! :-) preggers31 -
Thursday, 14 Feb Hi Shirmar, Sleeping on your back later in pregnancy (past your 25th week) can put pressure on your vena cava (big vein in your back). That can make you lightheaded and reduce blood flow to the baby. The risk is low, and even on your back enough blood gets to the baby. My doctor says as long as I am not on my back for 8 hours, sleep in whatever position makes me comfortable. The key is, if you are on your back and ever feel dizzy or if you feel the baby's movements change from what you normally feel - then sleeping on your back may not be a good idea. Best of luck with your pregnancy! - Diane dlind -
Thursday, 14 Feb Hi,
make an appt. to see your doctor could be an east infection or the begining of BV its common in pregnant women. I had the same thing happen to me on monday but i went straight to the Dr. they did a full ultrasound to make sure it wasn't amniotic fluid right after the dr. did kind of a pap and the results came back yesterday i have bv. BV is very common in pregnant women its similar to an east infection but if left untreated it could cause an infection in the amniotic fluid or even PROM. I know some of us don't think much about discharge but i would still have it checked out most dr. refuse to do testing but i am high risk so nothing is taken lightly. mamajohnson -
Thursday, 14 Feb Girl, you're not alone! I've had moments where I swore I was leaking water or blood and raced to a bathroom to also find discharge. Part of the experience I guess, but yes it's definitely excessive! shelleyanne -
Thursday, 14 Feb Hi,
yes, me too! we meant to get alot more discharge than normal around this time. My doctor said it was a good sign as it meant your body was flushing out toxins and bacteria. it should be whiteish not yellow or green or smell funny. then you have to contact the doctor as you may have an infection. I panic'd too! I'm due the same day as you and I can't wait! xx mamabearcm -
Thursday, 14 Feb Hi Shirmar, I am also discharging. Not too much, thanks heavens, but from time to time I do feel a little discharge. Like you, I was afraid that I was leaking amniotic fluid or even perhaps having a miscarriage, but thank God it's only discharge. I hear that it's pretty normal. sstacks -
Thursday, 14 Feb I have had the same exact experience! I rushed to the bathroom only to find discharge. I guess this is common and I have started to use panty liners. katemoz -
Thursday, 14 Feb Oh my god yes I am with you on the whole discharge thing! It sucks!! :) Ive read that it is normal but it is annoying and gross! I need to invest in some panty liners as well! :) and dont worry even though i have read that it is normal i still run to the bathroom almost everytime just to check! The worrying starts here and NEVER ends! :) lol Take care! nicole-noelle -

Tuesday, 12 Feb Hi there, I too am having a 3d?4D scan on the last day of week 23 for me! Very excited, people have told me that if you look at the picture of the scan next to your baby it tends to be the spitting image! How exciting, you must let me know when you have had it! Take care & good luck! nMART23 -
Tuesday, 12 Feb You are not alone on the cranky and no movement thing. I feel like that alot more than I like to but it is just hormones. Yesterday was one of those days for me. I guess we just have to be patient because everyone feels their baby move at different times. Your mood will improve. Take care! Jenism -

Thursday, 7 Feb hiya love. thanks for getting in touch with me about the aspergers. can you tell me what traits your son has as i knew my daughter had it when she was 4 and so did everyone else. the 1 thing that stood out for her was the fact that she would feel her socks all the time to make sure they were soft enough to go on her feet. if they werent soft enough, she would go crazy. also she would hide if anyone came to the door. if we went out, she would have to wear a mask so no on could see her. there are soooo many tell tale signs but she wasnt diagnosed until she was 5. she is now 9 and still feels socks, hides etc but i wouldnt change her for the world. i will try and dig out helpful websites for you to read as they will give you a much better understanding about the syndrome E.g...no eye contact, dont make them do something they dont want to, understandinf facial expressions etc! i will post as soon as i can xxxxxxxxxxx TimeTBAmommy -
Thursday, 7 Feb Thank you for your comment. I just wanted to make sure that everything was ok! You can never be too sure when it comes to your little baby! It doesn't help either that I am a worry wart! ha ha rainbowbird -
Saturday, 2 Feb Adding to Veroki's comments: I would definitely rule out fifth disease, also called slapped-cheek syndrome. It is rare, but my nieces have just had it. They live in Ontario, Canada, so no proximity to you, but there are outbreaks. Usually the rash first presents on the cheeks, so it is probably something else, but still worth ruling out. Also, apparently the most serious danger is for women in the first trimester. veroki -
Thursday, 31 Jan heres a site, http://kidshealth.org/parent/infections/bacterial_viral/fifth.html . i dont know much about it myself except kids get a rash and since another women child had it this week i thought id suggest it as a possiblity. i hope everythings ok with. :) veroki -
Thursday, 31 Jan is she in pre-school or day care? i dont know what nettles are but it could be fifth disease(rare) which young children can pick up but get her tested because if your not immune fifth disease it can cause problems in pregnancy. there was just a lady on here whose daughter picked it up. mrshunnybunny -
Thursday, 31 Jan Hey I saw your message on the week 15 board and thought it was too funny that you are going through a sweet tooth faze. I went through that same faze at about 12 weeks or so. Enjoy it - it passes :)
Best of luck with telling your family.
