Well let's see....I'm a first time mommy, never been pregnant before and I'm sooo excited! Me and my hubby got married October 18th, 2007 and this is our first baby for both of us! We said we were going to wait about 5 years before we had children, but surprise surprise! It's such a blessing and we're loving the experience of 'expecting'. He's going to be an absolutely wonderful father, he's practicing on our cat, lol! Our cat seems to know that a baby is on the way because he's acting super super lovable and needy and always wants to be held, I guess getting us ready! lol He walks around meowing just because, also seems to be getting us ready, lol! For now we just have a big one bedroom apartment, which is very nice and spacious, but we plan on buying a house in the next 2 years so the baby can have his/her own room.

Hi Stephanie! I think the name you've chosen is beautiful! Is there a bit of Italian in your family?
All is well with me (us!). I am now just sitting tight in anticipation of my 20-week scan...only 5 more weeks to go! At least the weeks are passing a lot quicker now than at first which is a relief - not that I'm wishing my pregnancy away, no ways! I'm just looking forward to the next stage.
Neil & I are off to the States on Fri. We'll be visiting New York, Niagara and Washington DC. I am SO looking forward to it - not really the long flight & jet lag, but certainly the break! I looove the States! This will only be our 2nd visit (we visited Florida 3yrs ago and thoroughly enjoyed it). Although we're only away for 10 days we've certainly got a full itinerary! We'll be in Canada on Canada Day (1July) and also in DC on Independance Day. We also have tickets to see the NY Yankees take on the Texas Rangers (your team?) on Monday night. I can't wait!

Thanku for ure comment!!! Some days I feel huge then I see pics and I dont think im that big and there is a woman i know who is due the day after me and is much bigger than me!!! Congrats on ure baby girl! Hope it all goes well! It will fly mine has so far...only 9 weeks left! :)

Well that's amazing! Are you happy that it's a girl? I think I want to have a girl first - I think because I'm the eldest of 4 (2 girls, 2 boys) and my mom and I are the best of friends and I would love to have the same relationship with my daughter one day. Also because my husband's family only has grandsons so far and it'll be nice to pop out the first granddaughter I guess! Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy! x

I went last week to have my gender u/s and ....Its not the healthiest thing ever, but I drank a half a glass of Mt. Dew before I went and he was ALL over the place. We got 82 pictures (which was wonderful), including the pic that proved he was a boy! Good luck to you!

You get to find out the gender on the 27th? That's great! Everyone seems to be finding out before me. I won't have my level 2 U/S until between 20-22 weeks. That puts it @ The first or second week in June. Seems like forever to me. I can't wait to know. I am sick of buying white, yellow, and mint green! I'm still suffering from the headaches. Sleep is the only thing that helps me too. Looks like we are in the same boat. Take it easy and take care!
