~About Me~
I have been trying to conceive for about 4 years now, married for 4 1/2 years. I am 29 years old and have been diagnosed with endometriosis in November of 07. Now it all adds up as to why I have been in pain since I was 15 years old! I am currently working on eating better and taking the natural route for now. I have been sick for the last year with other issues but receintly started feeling a bit better and want to actively start trying again.
2/21/08 Well I am now off the pill and started two days ago with major cramps, I was 4 hours late for work because of it. Looks like the surgery didnt help in that regard. I am avoiding the Lupron shots for now as I would like to try conceiving for a few months, then maybe consider it. Wish us luck for this months, will try again in a couple of weeks:)!
3/22/08 Well one more month that didnt work got a visit yesterday from the big P. Hopefully next month works out better:)
5/4/08 I havent been on here for a while I have been dealing sudden onset of food allergies and I started allergy shots for the enviromental allergies I have. I found out I am mainly allergic to wheat and milk which is SO hard. I have made an appointment with the reproductive endocrinologis on May 14th so I hope to get the baby ball rolling again. Well see what happens....:)
5/25/08 Well Just an update, I went to the reproductive doctor and he basically wants to try doing hormone injections followed by ultrasound and IUI's, but unfortunately its $1500 each month and we can not afford that. So I guess we will keep trying on our own w/o treatment as im kinda terrified of trying the Clomid again (I had too many side effects). Well baby dust to all trying and congrats to all that have achieved their goal:) I hope everyone is doing Great!
6/1/08 Last night I got a VERY strong positive ovulation test (see pic):) I hope this is the month! I hope everyone is healthy and doing fabulous!
6/16/08 Well it wasnt the month, the big P started today with horrible endometriosis style debilitating cramps. We really tried extra hard this time too. Well i've just gotta stay positive and keep at it. Send me some prayers and baby dust for next time around. I hope everyone is doing well.
6/26/08 I should be O'ing any day now, wish me luck gals!
7/10/08 Well today is my b-day and I wish i could say I was pregnant for it but im not. Definitly having cramps and period should be here any day....another month of trying ahead:) Hope all is well!
7/24/08 wow, period didnt even show up until today! 14 days after I was expecting it. Well that threw everything off. I guess I will get some more ovulation test strips again since its sort of a mystery as to when I will ovulate in August! Good luck and hello to everyone!
8/10/08 Well it's CD18 today and we didnt get too much "trying" in this month as my hubby has been traveling too much. But I guess there still is that chance! next month will be good since I purchased the Clear Blue Monitor and am very excited to see how close I really was with guessing ovulation timing, when NOT using the sticks. Hope everyone is well and is enjoying the last lil while of summer!
8/24/08 Today is CD6 and my first month of using the monitor, Today is the day is going to have me start testing using the sticks so it will be really interesting to see when I am ovulating. I hope this is the month for us!!!!
8/27/08 Today is CD9 and the first day the monitor requested a test, it turned out to be low. Will keep testing and "trying" this week untill I hit my peak:)
9/3/08 Today is around cycle day 16 and still have not gotten a high or a peak reading on my monitor, how frustrating...BUT at least we tried on the days I thought I was ovulating so well see....Good luck to all:)
9/5/08 I GOT MY PEAK!!!! Yay, who would have thought that I have ovulated this late in my cycle, but it happened and we took advantage of the PEAK, and hopefully will again today too! Thanks for all of the monitor support :) Baby Dust to all!
9/20/08 Well AF was due yesterday and she is still not here, I am STILL having all of the normal pain I usually feel just w/o the bleeding..but I know it will show up at any moment! I guess well see what happens.
9/21/08 AF Finally arrived:( Will try the progesterone in this next cyle to see if it helps. With a few more months of trying and it doesnt happen. I think I will need to go on hormones for the endometriosis as much as I dont want to....:(
10/8/08 Got my peak again on day 17 of cycle.
10/23/08 AF arrived, as usual SOOO painful. Blah!
