My name is Suzi, I got married 2 years ago Aug. 28th. I just finished Ultrasound school, and just began my new job about a week ago. My husband and I trying to concieve, we've been trying a couple months now. Well see how it goes. I'm really excited, and cant wait to finally be pregnant. i have this saying, since I ahve so many neices and nephews, "always the auntie, never the mom"... I want to be the mom now. Im so nervous about not getting pregnant, I feel like everyone around be gets pregnant so fast, but me. Let me know any advice, wish me luck, and good luck to all of you!

I have my first OB appointment on Thur the 23rd, wish me luck, I think he'll be doing an Ultrasound again and some labs and a pelvic, and pap.

TODAY IS THANKSGIVING, ITS AMAZING BEING PREGNANT FOR THE HOLIDAYS. I FEEL THE BABY KICK ALOT NOW, AND ITS SO AMAZING SHE MOSTLY KICKS AT NIGHT,A ND AFTER I TAKE A BATH OR SHOWER. I CANT WAIT MY ULTRASOUND IS ON TUE, AND I REALLY EXCITED FOR MY HUSBAND TO SEE, I CANT WAIT FOR HIM TO SEE OUT LITTLE MIRACLE, I JSUT SCANNED MYSELF YESTERDAY AND SHE WAS DOING FINE. IM SO EXCITED, I ALSO PICKED OUT MY BEDDING FOR KOOLROOMZ.COM ITS THE PEBBLE PINK, CANT WAIT TO BUY EVERYTHING FOR HER ROOM

12/12 (wed)

Starting to show now, I gained 13lb so far, yuk I hate gaining weight, because it doesnt come off easy for me and I gain everywhere, my legs, arms, Im pretty proportional when it comes to weight gain. The baby has been lazy lately,, must be going through a growth spurt... cant wait for her to be here.. saturday I will be 23 weeks :)

yesterday I went to labor in delivery for increase vaginal discharge. The doctor was worried for amnion leakage. So the Dr. did a pelvic exam, used stripes to test for fluid, and one under the microscope. It was just vaginal discharge, thank god. They had me on the monitor for the entire time. Tested my urine, and did an ultrasound to check for fluids. Me and the baby were healthy.. Thank god :)

Sorry to hear about your loss. It's never easy. Just try to relax a bit and take care of yourself. Start sleep training again when you feel better and are rested and calm. Good luck!

It sounds like you are going through a really tough time and I hope things get better. I would say try not to stress, but that's impossible. Take care of yourself and remember that babies grow up quicker than we think and will be sleeping well eventually. It won't be like this forever.

I think some babies don't have the personality to cry it out. I tried with Jamison and it never worked. I think it made his sleep worse. Some babies end up hating bedtime and will scream when they get near their crib. However it works great for others so you will have to be the judge.

For naps it is a little different. Don't let her cry for longer than 1 hour. Your sleep "window" will have past and she will get a second wind. What you need to do is make sure that you start winding her down (massage, nurse, whatever you do) at 90 min (or whenever you see she is getting slower in movements, rubbing her eyes, yawning etc...) and make sure she is in bed at or before the 2 hour of wakfulness mark. If you miss this time and she crys for the whole hour, take her out of her crib and keep her awake for about another hour. I know this seems cruel but she won't sleep anyway and it is harder for her to lay there crying then to stay up for a little longer. If you notice the sleep cues again before an hour feel free to put her down then instead. THere was a time when I was putting Edwin down ever 45 min because he had been so sleep deprived for so long and had to repay his sleep debt. Now he is all caught up and can stay awake for the whole hour and a half. At first it seems like all they do it sleep but it will get better as they get used to it and become more rested. Also you will become more practiced at noticing when they need to nap and when they can stay awake. it is a fine balance but once you master it you and your baby will be much happier. Now Edwin will wait for me to put his blanket on him, he smiles and hugs it, rolls over and goes to bed. I urge you to read "healthy sleep habits, happy child" it works wonders.

We started the CIO last night. She cried for an hour and 20 minutes. She napped all by herself today the first time and the second nap she cried for 8 minutes and was asleep. I just put her to bed and there was no crying. A little whine when I left the room but other than that not a peep. And when they wake up at night NO you cannot bring them in to bed with you. That is what is really hard for me. They have to cry all over again. When they wake up they have to be in the same situation they will be at all times when falling asleep. So no mom or dad helping her fall asleep or being there when she falls asleep. I cried on Saturday knowing it was my last night with her being in my bed.

Hey. Is she crying it out because you've never left her in her crib before? When my husband and I were letting my son cry it out a couple of months ago we would let him cry untill he fell asleep and if he did fall asleep for awhile in his crib than he needed a little bit of praising we would let him come hang out with us downstairs for awhile or let him sleep in bed.. it takes awhile I don't think you should let her cry all night because than she will be affraid of her crib all together. She should like her bed. My son still wakes up every couple of hours during the night and stays in my bed in the middle of the night so I'm not one for advice after that. l0l.

Hi all ...I found out what I'm having!! Check my Page!!

MaryJanowiecki - Sunday, 2 November
My son also cries when I put him in his bed he used to fall asleep on his own. I thought it was because at the daycare that he just started going to they rock him untill he's asleep and put him in the bed there and they don't let him fall asleep on his own. But maybe it could be the teething like your daughter who knows! It's hard not knowing.

Hi Suzy!! Nathan has been doing that at night too. Waking up at all hours. I think I figured it out though. His crib was still in our room up until yesterday. I finally broke down and put it in his room. He slept through last night without a peep. I swear it was my husbands snoring waking him up. LOL It wakes me up all night, so, it makes sense. Is she in your room??

If I was guessing, I would think it would be the reflux and teeth. We honestly don't have sleep issues. I am sorry I can't be of more help.
