BUN IN THE OVEN :)~
My name is Suzi, I got married 2 years ago Aug. 28th. I just finished Ultrasound school, and just began my new job about a week ago. My husband and I trying to concieve, we've been trying a couple months now. Well see how it goes. I'm really excited, and cant wait to finally be pregnant. i have this saying, since I ahve so many neices and nephews, "always the auntie, never the mom"... I want to be the mom now. Im so nervous about not getting pregnant, I feel like everyone around be gets pregnant so fast, but me. Let me know any advice, wish me luck, and good luck to all of you!

Hey everyone my docotor called me he said my second set of labs came back, and that they look great, I havent spotted for 2 days so Im feeling better again., My boobs hurt, and Im really sleepy, and a little nauseas. I have my first OB appointment on Thur the 23rd, wish me luck, I think he'll be doing an Ultrasound again and some labs and a pelvic, and pap.
TODAY IS THANKSGIVING, ITS AMAZING BEING PREGNANT FOR THE HOLIDAYS. I FEEL THE BABY KICK ALOT NOW, AND ITS SO AMAZING SHE MOSTLY KICKS AT NIGHT,A ND AFTER I TAKE A BATH OR SHOWER. I CANT WAIT MY ULTRASOUND IS ON TUE, AND I REALLY EXCITED FOR MY HUSBAND TO SEE, I CANT WAIT FOR HIM TO SEE OUT LITTLE MIRACLE, I JSUT SCANNED MYSELF YESTERDAY AND SHE WAS DOING FINE. IM SO EXCITED, I ALSO PICKED OUT MY BEDDING FOR KOOLROOMZ.COM ITS THE PEBBLE PINK, CANT WAIT TO BUY EVERYTHING FOR HER ROOM

Starting to show now, I gained 13lb so far, yuk I hate gaining weight, because it doesnt come off easy for me and I gain everywhere, my legs, arms, Im pretty proportional when it comes to weight gain. The baby has been lazy lately,, must be going through a growth spurt... cant wait for her to be here.. saturday I will be 23 weeks :)
yesterday I went to labor in delivery for increase vaginal discharge. The doctor was worried for amnion leakage. So the Dr. did a pelvic exam,used stripes to test for fluid, and one under the microscope. It was just vaginal discharge, thank god. They had me on the monitor for the entire time. Tested my urine, and did an ultrasound to check for fluids. Me and the baby were healthy.. Thank god :)

My baby was on zantac and it worked for about a week. I've read that if you give them zantac without giving them mylanta it still burns, but i would say it depends on how your baby reacts. Apparently Zantac is not FDA Approve for babies either. I know alot of mom's give it to their babies and it helps though. I am just uncomfortable with it not being approved for infants and I'm also uncomfortable that my Doctor didn't tell me that, the pharmacist did. My advice, do your research and do what you are comfortable with.

I have to make a correction McKenzie has 3 top teeth now, her front left incisor, her left lateral incisor and her left cuspid... I didn't notice because I didn't know that they can get their teeth like that but she bite me today and sure enough I had three indents and saw three pearly white teeth on her top gums!

McKenzie finally after 5 months of trying to get her third tooth in, got it yesterday. I would have a picture of it but yes, I lost our camera, so, I'm not able to get it.
Plus, wish me luck girls, I'm trying to get a job and if I get the one I'm interviewing this week for, it will work out great for McKenzie and I! Plus, I still have a 4.0 in school and well, everything just seems to be going great! I hope everyone else is good. Talk to you later and oh if you didn't know my pregnancy ended up being ectopic
but everything works out for reasons and I wasn't really ready to have another baby so soon. Talk to you guys later, love to the babes and bellies!

Hey girl, how are ya?? As far as months, I go by date. Nate was born on March 5th so the fifth of every month he turns a month older. August 5th he turned 5 months old. the doctors go by the date of birth each month. I was counting weeks too, but the way it was explained to me was each month it varies 30 days, 31, 29, etc. so I guess it goes by that day each month?! Hope that helps.

Hi, I am so having a hard time to lose the extra weight, i joined weight watchers a few weeks ago but my local club has shut down for a 8 weeks as the lady moved and they could not get anyone else to do it till the 10th September. How much weight do you still have to lose?

For your napping question, I have the same problem, have you tried the 90 minute cycle. When the baby wakes up add 90 minutes then try putting baby down for a nap. If I catch my son giving cues rubbing eyes, pulling ear and its within 90 minutes he is easier to get down. Hope this help

Than ks for the reply on the ventricle measurements by US---do they usually compare when measured by mri?--we got different measurements on the same day 13mm, & 15mm on US and 16mm & 17mm on MRI ---done less than 1 hour apart

Hi....I have a question. In your experience, how many times have you found enlarged ventricules in a fetus that then decreased before birth? My baby has 1 ventricule at 11mm and he was 19 weeks at the time. Please let me know....and thanks for any help you can give me. Ciao

Can i ask you an US question? I am almost 35 weeks an they discovered bilateral ventriculimegaly at 28 weeks----how reliable are the ultrsound measurments compared to an MRI measurement of the vents? when done on the same day their was variability? thanks

Thanks so much for all the info from feeding to reflux to hopefully a career change. You have helped us tremendously. My husband and I took your suggestion on feeding Brinn in a quite room and it totally worked!!! We were able to get her to eat more. We also use the Dr. Brown's bottles. I wanted to reduce any chances of Brinn developing colic, which thus far we have had no issues there. Brinn eats 100% pumped breast milk. She only had formula when she was in the hospital. Do you know if formula vs. breast milk has a different effect when it comes to reflux? Also our pediatrician says she won't put Brinn on medication for reflux unless the color of her spit up is bright yellow or if she is in pain? Was that the case with Maja? Brinn will cries some of the time when she spits up but not always. Also regarding your post, I would love to get pregnant again asap, but my hubby really only ever wanted just the one. We had such a difficult pregnancy/time getting our little girl here that I think it just made my case of wanting a second one less promising. I don't want Brinn to be an only child. I miss having a little life inside of me and hope to be blessed with another one. Stay tuned...Have a great weekend!
