BUN IN THE OVEN :)~
My name is Suzi, I got married 2 years ago Aug. 28th. I just finished Ultrasound school, and just began my new job about a week ago. My husband and I trying to concieve, we've been trying a couple months now. Well see how it goes. I'm really excited, and cant wait to finally be pregnant. i have this saying, since I ahve so many neices and nephews, "always the auntie, never the mom"... I want to be the mom now. Im so nervous about not getting pregnant, I feel like everyone around be gets pregnant so fast, but me. Let me know any advice, wish me luck, and good luck to all of you!

Hey everyone my docotor called me he said my second set of labs came back, and that they look great, I havent spotted for 2 days so Im feeling better again., My boobs hurt, and Im really sleepy, and a little nauseas. I have my first OB appointment on Thur the 23rd, wish me luck, I think he'll be doing an Ultrasound again and some labs and a pelvic, and pap.
TODAY IS THANKSGIVING, ITS AMAZING BEING PREGNANT FOR THE HOLIDAYS. I FEEL THE BABY KICK ALOT NOW, AND ITS SO AMAZING SHE MOSTLY KICKS AT NIGHT,A ND AFTER I TAKE A BATH OR SHOWER. I CANT WAIT MY ULTRASOUND IS ON TUE, AND I REALLY EXCITED FOR MY HUSBAND TO SEE, I CANT WAIT FOR HIM TO SEE OUT LITTLE MIRACLE, I JSUT SCANNED MYSELF YESTERDAY AND SHE WAS DOING FINE. IM SO EXCITED, I ALSO PICKED OUT MY BEDDING FOR KOOLROOMZ.COM ITS THE PEBBLE PINK, CANT WAIT TO BUY EVERYTHING FOR HER ROOM

Starting to show now, I gained 13lb so far, yuk I hate gaining weight, because it doesnt come off easy for me and I gain everywhere, my legs, arms, Im pretty proportional when it comes to weight gain. The baby has been lazy lately,, must be going through a growth spurt... cant wait for her to be here.. saturday I will be 23 weeks :)
yesterday I went to labor in delivery for increase vaginal discharge. The doctor was worried for amnion leakage. So the Dr. did a pelvic exam,used stripes to test for fluid, and one under the microscope. It was just vaginal discharge, thank god. They had me on the monitor for the entire time. Tested my urine, and did an ultrasound to check for fluids. Me and the baby were healthy.. Thank god :)

thank you. Yes, I started putting rice cereal in Ryleigh's bottle when she was 5 weeks. It helped a little but what really helped the pain was the prevacid. She spit up until she was 7 months old but it didnt bother her...it was more of a laundry issue for me!

Avery would spit up alot and then she would fuss when she did so I think it was hurting her when she spit up. She was always fussy and would not sleep at all during the day because everytime I layed her down she would wake up!! I was constantly walking with her and, bouncing her strolling her...and she would calm down for maybe 5-10 minutes and then I would have to try something else. This went on ALL DAY LONG!!! I had her on Axid (which is similar to zantac) and it didn't seem to help much so the doc switched her to prevacid and put her on nutramigen. she barely fusses at all now although she still spits up a lot and sometimes throws up. She naps on her tummy during the day when I can keep an eye on her. I think it helps because it doesn't sit in the back of her throat when she spits up. It didn't get better for me until she was about 8 weeks old. Maybe try another medicine. Many people have told me that reglan worked for them too. You just have to find the right med and the right formula.

i started with just adding a little so when you shake the bottle you can see it but the consistency isnt too thick..she may not take it at first, she has to get used to it.. i think it took Rosie like 3 or 4 times before she FINALLY took it... its supposed to help them keep it down..you'll get thru this, i promise...give her kisses and i hope you have a better day tomorrow... keep in touch............now if you have any pointers for gettng your baby to sleep on her back at night, id love to hear it! you;d think i was a first time mom with this new baby of mine!!! shes been in my bed because all she does is scream and keep Rosie up!

not sure why the nutramigan for reflux it was suggested by my friend and it worked.. I started the cereal at 3 weeks old it was suggested by the dr at Childrens Hospital and also by my pediatrician. and she started to sleep longer at nite too!!!! Use the rice cereal and if you're using Dr Brown bottles switch to the #2 nipples do she can get it thru..Rosie slept on her belly all day too..they say it helps!! hope this helps..it did for Rosie!

hay there,wow thats a nice size baby, justina was 8lbs 211/2 inches, and will be 7 weeks tmrw. i too was induced(well was sup to be but when they gave me the cervidel, my body kinda went into labor on its own!!) so i pretty much went through the WORST part of labor by myself, i had told my familly n husband to go home. i had her at 38 1/2 weeks i had gestational diabetes, SPD(the bad pelvic seporation) and at the end i had mild toxemia!!! it was a long 9 months thats all ill say, l.o.l she is on similac advance with iron, but i think at around 2 months we can start to give them something for the gas to help with the fussiness, like gripe water or the mycilon drops!! i hear they are a God send!!l.o.l so i bought both of those today, im just waiting now til shes 2 months to use them!!l.o.l nothing like being ready!!

i forgot about the rice cereal in every bottle..works miracles!!!! how is she doing with the reflux? its sucks and you feel so bad for them..once you figure out what works, she'll be fine! its just getting there! hang in there!

what formula do you use? Maybe shes very gassy, i switched Evan to Enfamil gentlease, and it helped alot! I also gave him Gripe water in his bottle which did wonders too! god luck

adia tried the utramigen for awhile but she wouldnt eat it, so i put her back on soy with rice, but shes beggining to really throw up again, and spit up too. I think she'll probably have to see a specialist. :(
