Hi Everyone,

My name is Salimah, you can call me Sali for short. I just got married to a wonderful man (Alhamdulillah) on Dec 22 2007. I have 2 lovely princesses with me from my previous marriage. Nurul who will be turning 5 this Feb, 19 and Nurin who will turning 3 this Mar, 29. Now I'm trying to have my 3rd child by this year, hopefully ;)

I found this site by chance and already got hooked, lolz. Hope to share and learn from each and everyone of you. Looking forward to make many new friends here. ;)

Had my LMP on 24 Dec and since then I hadn`t any till now. Put on 2kg!! but it turns out to be negative same goes to the blood test. The Doctor says that HCG level was too low to confirm that I `m pregnant. Am I really? *sigh* was really looking forward to it.

Its been 5 weeks and 1 day since I last had my menses. Again I tried the home pregnancy test kit, but still no sign of pregnancy. Yesterday I start having these mild cramps on the middle abdomen mainly on the left side. I just have this feeling that there's something inside. What could it be? Since hubby is working today, I guess I'll just drop by the women's clinic tomorrow to make sure that there's nothing serious about cramps. Insya'Allah.

Two weeks till my next menses is due. The last time I had the pregnancy test kit was on 7 Feb. The mild cramps on my lower abdomen has become more frequent. Yesterday, i had it the whole day but this morning its better but I don't feel quite well. My mouth taste funny, and had a discomforting feeling in my tummy...a feeling like i'm gonna throw up. Hubby suggested that I should go the KK Hospital for a check up but I'm obliged to. What if its just a false alarm? I know hubby said that its not that crucial that we shld be pregnant now...but somehow or rather I wanna be pregnant...for him. It'll be his first child and I know that he's really looking forward to it. He's just acting cool...he told me once, "take ur time honey, watever it is, i'll always love you". Well lets just hope for the best.

Hmmm....I just tried the hpt moments ago and the result is still NEGATIVE but I'm very sure that I'm pregnant. Been suffering from bloatedness since Jan 08, been feeling tired easily. I've never had such problems before. I've lost count on how many hpts I've tried. Not including the ones done at the doctor's clinic. Last night I've started to have these mild cramps around my uterus area. But still nothing?? Should I still wait or just ask the doctor to give me pills so that I can have my menses...this wait is really killing me! More baby dust PLEASE!!

Did a HPT again this morning but all I get was a BFN! And still no menses. This is really getting on my patience I feel that I can't wait no more. Last test will be end of this month. If I still get a BFN, I go the doctors and the get medication so I can have my menses. I'm feeling very down right now but dun wanna show it to hubby cause he'll be sad too.

Had my AF yesterday! Finally, such a relieve. Although we feel sad because that means I'm not pregnant but its ok. We'll keep on trying.

3 more days till testing and I'm oh so excited abt it. Been having mild cramps at my lower abdomen. It comes and goes. Went to see the doc on Tuesday due to a fever and the doctor told me that I could have urine infection. But I don't feel any pain when i urinate. Could it be something else? Anyway she prescribe me some pain killers and antibiotics. I've finished the medication but I still have the cramps once every few minutes. Hope everything will go on well. Babydust to all!

Was very anxious to know and 3 days seems so far away...hhhhmmm...so did a test using the HPT on the 17th Apr and got myself a BFN! serve me right for being so impatient. I still have not had my AF till to-date. Planning to try testing again on the 30th. Seen some spotting but not sure whether its really the implantation process and I also bleed after several BDs. Hubby got scared cause he thinks I was having my AF but I told him I wasn't. Been very sick this pass week. On and off with fever and very bad cough...its the wheather, I think.

Couldn't sleep last night due to my never ending coughing. Decided to see the doc for more medication. But before that I had the urge to get a HPT, the digital type and immediately tried it at the clinic before seeing the doctor. Alhamdulillah, the result showed 'Pregnant'. Khai and myself are very excited to begin this journey together. Hopefully everything will go on smoothly...Insya'Allah.

Had some pink spotting and cervix wall itchiness. My tummy doesn't feel well so we decided to go to the normal GP but to our surprise, the doctor has referred us to the hospital. She gave us a referral letter and told us to head straight to the A&E. It was a long wait till I was finally sent to see the gynae. Went to have a cervix scan, but the sad thing is....she could not find the embryo. Well we did saw the yoke sac...the doctor says that it still too early to see the embryo...is it true? I'm worried and sad. We are told to come back on the 16th for another scan and check-up. I hope to see the embryo's hb by then...wish me luck!

Yesterday had bleeding again,this time is was slightly more that the last time. It's a mixture of pink and dark brown spotting. Being too anxious, I went straight to A&E after work. The gynae told me it could be stale blood from my previous menses. Well I hope she's right. I really don't wanna lose this baby :( The gynae took some blood for a beta HCG test and I will to go back to the hospital again on Monday for another test. Just to make sure that my HCG levels are at the right places. She also gave me some hormone tablets to assist in strengthening the pregnancy and advised me to get lots of rest and try not to move around too much. I hope everything will be alright...Insya'Allah.

Last Monday, 12 May 2008 we went to the hospital, Clinic G as instructed by the A&E dept for another HCG Beta test. We came at about 8 am and not till about 12 pm, finally managed to see the gynae. Both blood test taken on last Friday and Monday seems to be good, the HCG levels seems to go up tremendously. The gynae wanted us to do a vaginal scan just to make sure that the baby is ok...and WAHLAAAAH! we managed to see the embryo and its heartbeat...it seems very tiny though but we still can see the flickering heartbeat on the monitor. Its was the most delightful day for us. Next appointment will be on 29 May 2008....we are really looking forward to it. I just wanna say thanks to all whom have visited my page and showered us with lots of baby dust and good luck prayers. Our prayers are to you all too and hope that we all will have a smooth TTC and Pregnancy journey! Insya'Allah....Amin.

Went for check up and EDD scan just now. We can actually see the baby's hands and legs...so cute. Alhamdulillah, the doctor says that the baby is alright but what worries me is that the doctor seems to think that I have HPB. The score was like 138/94 just now. The second and third reading she took was much more higher than that. She may need to put me into medication. Next week I'll have to go for another check up on the PB. I hope everything will be ok. Insya'Allah.

Time flies, I'm in my 16th week now. My health has not be so good lately. My back is beginning to ache. I'm sure its too early to have it but maybe its due to my artificial disc replacement surgery I had last year. My thighs are aching too...can't really walk too much. I feel like as though I'm in my late pregnancy stage. I really hope to get better..the journey is still a long way to go.

I'm in my 20th week already...Alhamdulillah. But the sad part is I'll have to be on no-pay leave till the delivery. Back pain is normal for all pregnancies but it didn't crossed my mind that mine will bring back the pain from the spine surgery I had last year Feb. The pain from my back has gone down my legs again. With the pregnancy progressing the pain will be more and more.
I couldn't walk last week so hubby took me to the hospital. Lucky my dear SIL told me to call the clinic and managed to get a gynae to see me that very day. Sitting on a wheelchair while hubby wheeled me down to the clinic...really brought back memories of the pain I went thru last year. There's mixed feelings this time...worry of course but at the same time I'm sure all this will pass once I've delivered our angel this Dec.

Just got back from the hospital and yay! saw the baby and heartbeat, what a wave of emotion i felt, i actually started laughing! whoop!
So... at least I can now relax and be happy, i'm so happy to have had a scan early on, especially as most people over here in the UK don't get anything at all till 12 weeks.

So happy that you have seen an embryo and a heartbeat! I have my next scan (after going through the exact same bleeding and no embryo on u/s as you) on Monday 20th. I am so worried!

Hi Sali,
I wanted to say that I saw your comment on week 6. Well I had some bleeding too and went to A&E, they then did a scan and told me they also could not see an embryo but that the yolk sac was there, so we have had identical experiences. I too have to go back to have another scan on the 20th. I have my fingers crossed for both of us!
