pregnancy calendar

My name is Sally and I'm pregnant with my first child. My due date is Oct 18 but i will be having a C-section at the end of September or early in October. In September 2006 I had an abdominal myomectomy to remove a large (the size of a baby's head) fibroid tumor from my uterus. Because of that surgery my uterus is badly scarred and it would be dangerous to go into labor.

I took a pregnancy test the day before i missed my period. . . I just had a feeling and I was right! So far I've been feeling exhausted and nauseous, throwing up just about every morning. I'm hoping the sickness will pass in a few weeks (or now would be good too)! I'm looking forward to week 19 when my doc says we can see the sex. I feel sure that its a girl, I don't know why, just a gut instinct I guess. I hope I'm wrong but as long as s/he's healthy I really don't care.

The one thing I found is I struggled to get up and use my tummy for that for weeks after the myomectomy. With the cesar I slept on my tummy that very night. I got up and had a shower all fine. Yip its still painful but not half as bad as the myomectomy. You'll do great. Good luck!

hi i have had 2 c/s and my 1st i was trying to be smart and not take the pain killes i was given and it hart but on my 2nd i had what i was given and more if i need them but i had my son at 10.35 in the morning and by about 5pm that afternoon i was on my feet to the chair eating my dinner the 2nd was a lot more pain free and by the time i went home 4 days later i was walking real well and u know what i will be doing all over again all the best

Jo-Ann - Wednesday, 17 September
I had a myomectomy about 2 years before my son was born by cesar. The cesar was nothing compared to the pain and discomfort I felt during the myomectomy. For me the myomectomy recovery was more painful and took much longer to recover than the cesar. I think the myomectomy prepares us more for whats going to happen to us but the cesar isnt half as bad. Anyway it wasnt for me

I would love it if you let me know how they do!! Bumgenius 3.0 are the ones that I've been really looking in to. Looks like they actually sell them online at Target now too, which is great because I can add them to my registry there! You must be so excited that your little one will be here soon! I have until Christmas!!
