I've been happily married for 8 years. We have a 7 year old daughter. I was having mixed feeling for a while, wheather to have another one. This pregnancy was a surprise, and my family and I are very excited. Feels like I am starting over, but with each day, I'm growing more happy. I work part-time as a psychiatric nurse. My job is very interesting. I think this site is very cool. I wish I would have had access to a computer and a site like this with my first child!

I think my hubby was a little shook up by my pain as well. He's never seen me in that much pain before, except when I had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled at once. And even then.. I'd do that a million times over, before going through l&d again!

I think I may have yelled "I can't! I can't!" a couple times. But of course, that baby is comin whether or not you like it, and whether or not you're ready! hahah.

Yep, I'm breast feeding. We had some troubles in the first couple days, so my nipples are still really tore up :( But she latches on really well, and empties an entire boob before she's done. I think I overproduce milk! I can't get her to start on another one. But she's feeding again in 2-3 hours. The last couple nights, she's actually slept for about 4 hours before she wanted to be fed. She's great! Except when she gets frustrated, like Jaren. Then I just can't get her to stop crying. Like yesterday, I wasn't feeling well at all, and all she did was cry - I think she sensed that I felt sick. Bleh! And the poop.. AHHH! It's really gross.. All yellow and.. seedy looking.. *puke*

She squirted me the other night... I was trying to change her diaper, and just before I put her clean diaper on, she had a nice streamline of pee that shot right at me. It scared me! I yelled her name (not in a mean way - a surpised way) and kind of jerked her to the side. Her butt was at least a foot away from my leg, and it still got me! Soaked right through the fitted sheet and onto the mattress, and ran down my leg, and soaked through the dirty AND clean diaper.. hahah. My hubby laughed and laughed

geesh! not bad - 8 hours!

I was pretty much 100% sailor while I was in the last stages of labor.. dialating 5-10 in a half hour, and then pushing her out.. I don't drink at all, but w/my swearing, I probably should have had a fifth in my hand!! I think I may have surprised my husband... I don't think he's heard me swear that much in the time we've been together!!

I've got a cranky baby that is falling asleep in my left arm, am typing & trying to eat w/my right.. lol! I'm such a multi-tasker!

Hi Yep I was induced on Wed 28th and gave birth to a baby boy "Ben" 7lbs 5 oz.. The induction went well ..very fast though, I went from 1cm to 10cm in 3 hours with contractions 1 min apart...that pitocin is devil juice!! still I was glad to get him out. I hope you are keeping well. Hugs to you. Daisy

Thanks.. I certainly will. yup, we made it. its amazing how much this baby has changed me as a person. its like instantly I became someone else. Hope that you're doing well and that so is your little one. Take care of yourself, girl.

Well, I've decided to go ahead with the induction. The doc I saw today made me feel more at ease with it, and besides, they won't let me go past 41 weeks. So, I figured that I might as well. Soooo, I guess next time we talk, we'll be at home with our babies. Good luck tomorrow!

speaking of Gemini Babies... My daughter born June 19 (this is my brother & sister's birthday but they were born different years!) my son was born June 9th (same b-day as my brother in law) and now my baby on the way is a Gemini how weird is that?!! I bet I'll have her in June just like my other 2, it just seems to happen that way.

Saw your comment yesterday about being totally exhausted - I was too tired to come and reply until today! I feel the same way - I have no motivation to do anything and just feel like the life is being sucked from me...fatigue! I called my mom and the first thing she said was "You don't sound like you're in labor." I replied that with the amount of nesting energy I was having it looks looks this baby is going to come in about 6 weeks! I hope this doesn't last very long - I've got stuff to do! And, if you find anything that gives you a little energy boost (besides sleeping all day, haha) will you please let me know? Thanks and best wishes!

haha lol your comment was funny. hubby and i decided to have sex for the first time in forever and i was like so does it feel weird in there is it nice and tight lol lol. i looked up the clicking thing - one of the great pregnancy mysteries!! said it could be an air bubble from the baby moving around so much. whatever it is, it is weird!

Wow.. I can't believe the DR never offered for your hubby to cut the cord! I'd be bitter about it still, too! That's horrible!

Love fest.. LOL! I can't even relax myself.. I guess I just don't know how to have sex being 9 months pregnant! Lol! But I think I may try to get hubby to do his thing tonight. I want this baby out!! I'm feeling pretty good today, so maybe it'll work out ;P

Well it's comforting knowing I'm not the only one that got upset about not being checked!! Thanks for letting me know. I think next time I'm pregnant, I'm finding a place where you see ONE OB your entire pregnancy, not rotate through a bunch of different ones. There's just so personal level there when you see a bunch of them, and I think during a pregnancy, there should be some sort of personal connection between you and the person that's delivering your child!

I laughed out loud when you mentioned that you feel like you're suffocating when your hubby kisses you.. I feel the same way!! My nose is already always plugged up, and then when my hubby has his face on mine, trying to kiss me and get things going for himself, I have to keep pulling away and gulp in air!! I think that's one of the reasons I keep turning him down lol! Poor hubby... ahahah! He keeps telling me he can't wait until the baby is here so that he can have sex with me and not feel like he's killing me LOL

totally feel you on the BM. I was with my mom today and didn't even have to push it was like ever flowing. isn't it great that we can talk about anything on this site. when you are feeling strange things it is so nice to be able to have people to share them with.
