I've been happily married for 8 years. We have a 7 year old daughter. I was having mixed feeling for a while, wheather to have another one. This pregnancy was a surprise, and my family and I are very excited. Feels like I am starting over, but with each day, I'm growing more happy. I work part-time as a psychiatric nurse. My job is very interesting. I think this site is very cool. I wish I would have had access to a computer and a site like this with my first child!

totally feel you on the BM. I was with my mom today and didn't even have to push it was like ever flowing. isn't it great that we can talk about anything on this site. when you are feeling strange things it is so nice to be able to have people to share them with.

They will probably check you at your next app. Are you going to the dr. weekly now?

bdubb - Monday, 5 May
I know what you mean I have a hard time telling if it is a BH contraction or him moving around. He moves and stretches and makes my stomach so hard. My hubby set up our swing today as well it made me excited of thinking of seeing my little boy in there. Hope all is well and that you are feeling good.

I'm glad you posted it! I was just writing last night about episotomies in week 35! Thanks for sharing.

If i even try to stretch my legs in the morning both calves will cramp and it hurts like hell, but do what socalgal said and just stand up and stretch (lying there will take for ever for it to go away). My Registered Massage Therapist said it was a pregnancy thing and she see's it all the time.

socalgal - Monday, 28 April
I had tons of leg cramps during my prior pregnancy and they are awful! The quickest way to get it to go away (especially of you're laying down) is to jump out of bed and stand on it and try to flex it as much as possible. The more it is pointeda, the more it will cramp and the more it is flexed, the quicker it goes away. Try it. It's like magic!

HAHA...LMAO. THE BIRDS. I know!!!!! I thought I was the only one. I felt like such a bitch the past couple mornings. Who yells at birds...but I have been there every morning wondering what I could say to shut them up. LOL. If only they knew and could keep it down for just a little longer. :)

mommyballs - Wednesday, 23 April
its hard, but it gets easier, he tries to call me as often as possible. nearly everyday if he can!!!! plus it makes it a little easier having the Drew and soon Alexis to occupy the time!

hey just wanted to respond to your post from earlier. i had the SAME EXACT problem with my baby shower and i felt conceited and stuck up for crying over people not buying me things from my registry. I registered at Walmart because i wanted people to be able to afford the stuff so when you do a registry with walmart, you can see what has been bought and what you still need so me being nosey all the way up until the day before my shower, i was checking it and literally NOTHING was bought from it except the stuff i already got which was, like you, the stroller and car seat but i already had that because my mother in law bought that! and im so glad i have someone else who is going thru the same thing so i dont feel like such an ungreatful bitch lol...so trust me- your not the only one! and PLUS i had 40 people that i sent invitations to and only about 15 showed up....i was so mad that me and my sister bought like 40 of everything because ALMOST everyone RSVP'd...so anywayyyyyy....write back soon missy! hehehe

Hey I have had night sweats thruout my pregnancy, I think due to these progesterone shots I had to get weekly. Anyway, I get very sweaty head to toe. In last couple months, the crotch sweating got so bad I was also breaking out badly. I have been thru so much, I am pretty much giving up on being as bare as I would like, esp. since I can not see at all down there. I still shave my bikini line and have my hubby trim the rest for me. That is just gonna have to do for now, even though I hate it. The docs have seen it all anyway. I also remember with my last delivery, I tore a little bit. When that area was healing in the following weeks, it itched to dear goodness. The last thing I want is to have a bunch of little stubbly hairs to have to contend with as well. Wow, I have talked enough about this now, haha! :)

MariaC - Tuesday, 15 April
My hub is up for ANYTHING!!!!! As long as he gets his 'oats'!!! xXx

caseylynn2 - Tuesday, 15 April
hi! Ok so I read your down there comment and thought I would share. My BF is a dork and thinks its fun to shave that area for me. We have become so close with this pregnancy that NOTHING will gross him out haha. He actually loves it... so he prepares his razor (5 blades works so good!) and his shaving mousse stuff along with this softening oil (from Origins haha he is a girl) and goes to town. It is so nice and smooth but just for a couple of days then it gets itchy and irritated just like you explained haha
I think its funny about the baby powder, my roomate is trying to invent butt oderant ;) he has similar issues, but baby powder sounds nice!
I really want a brazillian wax, but they are too expensive! Anyway just wanted to share my little secret :) maybe you can try it.
Be aware, he always tries to get me to have sex with him after... I tell him that getting that close was good enough! haha good luck
Casey

hello! i read about the maternity leave at your job....that is horrible!!! omg she is lucky she didn't meet me!! lol i am very out spoken!! lol well at my job they told me that i can go on maternity leave the day i go into labor or whatever day the doctor says... you should talk to your doct first and ask him when it would be a good time for you to go because it depends on your pregnancy, my doctor put me to leave on maternity leave two weeks before because my job is a stressful one... hope this helps!!!! good luck

beautiful family

hey again. rapid foetal movements. some sites said that we should worry when movements decrease, but what had scared me that day was that there may be stress caused by the cord or placenta giving trouble and it was a very worrying site based on previous happenings, but all ok now, so let none of us worry about it any more. if you want to read more, just google 'rapid foetal movements' and see. i was in a state, but all settled down and i gave baby a good talking to about not doing that again !! take care.

Oh my goodness!! I love these pics..seriously...I'm about to cry! How cute!!!

shannondawnb - Wednesday, 19 Mar
Hey! your pics are awesome, cute little fella, all squishy!! i tried to get a 3D4D scan but cant get in without a referral to the clinic closest to us...so i will have to wait to see ours.

kim41SA - Wednesday, 19 Mar
Hey there. thanks for writing back. poppet is feeling frantic again this morning, but after yesterday's scare, settled down. i called my doc and he sighed and told me 'this sure is going to be a long pregnancy ! ' screw him. this is my 3rd at age 41 and my late surprise and this time around i have access to internet and what i read in google about frantic foetal movement, did worry me that i was crying so much. then i just prayed to God to keep little one safe as why would He give this to me and then let something go wrong. i went for a long walk and chatted to baby and told baby that this frantic stuff is not good for mommies heart and it must stop. baby settled right down but now this morning is very very very busy again. doc says baby is just like mom !!! oh dear. the thing is, that only being 30 weeks makes it a hard call if there is something going on with the cord or placenta, as baby is still so little to be taken out now, so just gotta stay positive. enjoy that soft mattress. slept on mine all nite last nite and NO hip pain. walking is also soooo good for us. keep everything oiled.. take care girl. i would know to pronounce both options correctly, but jaren would probably assure it being said right than jarren. thats my opinion

mumof4boyz - Tuesday, 18 Mar
THe name is nice...my husbands' name is Jerad and my goodness the variations in spelling and pronounciation are bewildering!!! So however you spell it I expect you /he will get a bit of confusion!!!

Stick with it though xx

FirstLittleBaby - Tuesday, 18 Mar
I love the spelling JAREN...but JERAN works too! Its so hard naming someone you have never met and who will have that name for the rest of their lives....it took my husband and I forever to name our son! Good luck though and no matter what you choose, it will be perfect!

mum2mia2008 - Tuesday, 18 Mar
Hi, i read your post about seizure movements i get them too sometimes! What is it?
