Hi, My name is Samantha and I am 28 weeks pregnant.. She kicks like crazy. I dont get any sleep already lol - I thought that I wasnt going to get any when she was born - I had no idea the sleepless nights would come sooo soon. Its alright though, I love feeling her kick, means shes healthy! She doesnt go very long at all without kicking - usually every couple hours at least. I am a single mommy to be and although Im scared, I know that I will do great! I have the support of my family and friends and I know that me and my baby girl will be happy. I look forward to meeting other mommy to bes and mommies!

I had an appointment today with my new midwife. I had been going to a different dr but I didnt feel comfortable or happy there. I am very happy that I switched to a different office with a midwife. She is so nice, and she actually sat with me and answered my questions. We listened to the baby `s heartbeat and its as strong as ever. Shes bigger than the midwife expected her to be for 28 weeks and she was surprised that I had no stretchmarks. Everything is good, I `m healthy except Im slightly anemic, no big deal just have to start taking iron, and the baby is very healthy. I couldnt be happier after that appt. And I asked the midwife questions about my labor and she answered with all the answers I was hoping to hear, not the ones that I was hearing at the other hospital that made me nervous.

I was hoping someone would be able to give me an answer for this... the baby `s father called this morning and said that if I dont get back together with him, he is going to take the baby. I DO NOT want to be with him but I definately dont want to not have my baby more than that. His mother knows alot of people with the state and she has a lot of foster kids and everything. If she wanted to take the baby from me, I dont think she would have any problems. I am living with my mother, and his mother knows that we are having difficulties keeping up on all the bills, and that her ex bf was abusive. She will say that we cant afford the house and its unstable here. I dont know what to do - I want to keep living here - and once the spring comes it will be alot easier to take care of the bills - I refuse to let them take my baby away, and Im not going to get back with him for as long as possible, but if I have to to keep my baby I will - I dont know what to do. Please help.

So Im in week 30...it seems to be going soo fast. Ive been working on the nursery - its still a long way from being ready since we had to take the wallpaper down and now Im working on cleaning the walls before painting.. Its getting there though and I love working on it. I got given a carseat, a baby swing, and a highchair yesterday. My baby shower is next month and I am so excited. My mom is supposed to be throwing it.. but she hasnt done anything yet so Im the one trying to make sure stuff is ready lol. The father has been calling here and Ive been ignoring the calls - I need to get a restraining order on him. :/ Anyways, I love making new friends, so anyone that wants to talk just send me a message.
