We are expecting our first child in October. I always thought that I would finish school, get married, buy a house, then have a baby, but that is not the plan that God had in mind.. I love the fact that I will be a mother soon. I have a large, loving family and know that my baby will have all the love in the world. I havent had the opportunity to be around many babies or even pregnant women, so everything is a first for me... So far my pregnancy has been really smooth. I truly can't complain. Financially being able to afford a baby , really stresses me out, but I am hoping from support from my family and friends. We live in a 1 bedroom apartment and wanted to try to get a house before the baby. However my credit is shot from student loans so it may be a tight squeeze for a while. I just dont care as long as my baby is healthy!!!\its a girl

today !!!

She weighs a whole 8oz!!! Yay!!!

7/22/08 Third trimester here we come... I am taking a fussy baby class, a breastfeeding class, and a class on how to care for newborns. She is coming very soon and I want to make sure we are prepared !!

10/28\

I delivered Abigail via c section on her due date October 21st... I was induced to due pre eclampsia but didn't dialate past 2 after15 hours of labor!!We are great..she is beautiful... I will take a while to heal..the pain is rough!! I tried to bf , but pain inhibited my milk production and we are using formula and I am pumping out what I can..

Hi there, I would apply for the job if i were you. I applied 4 a job back in June, although i did not get it. I would have been out of the job for 7months and it was only a year contract. I thought about it for ages but thought i had just as much right to apply for it as anyone else. What have you got to lose??Good luck whatever you decide. x

Yes the glucose test is something every woman is supposed to do between 26 and 30 weeks. It tests your bloodsugar levels. For me it was a simple finger poke one hour after eating a candy bar and a soda...that is the one hour test, if you fail that they will do a 3 hour test where you drink something they give you and test your blood 3 hours later. Good luck and if your dr hasn't said anything about it ask him at your upcomming appointment

youonly have a gloucse test if you nee one, the resons can include, having protine in ur urine, history of big babies, things like that

Yes, it is a standard test that all pregnant women must take. Good luck!

I got the good news of knowing I passed by 3 points. Anything over 3, I would have had to go for the 3 hour test.

I am sure you will be fine does big babies run in your family? If not you should be ok and I am surprised your doctor isnt giving you another US before birth they usually give you one a few weeks before to make sure everything is ok. I geuss they all are different. Good luck to you to!!
