We are expecting our first child in October. I always thought that I would finish school, get married, buy a house, then have a baby, but that is not the plan that God had in mind.. I love the fact that I will be a mother soon. I have a large, loving family and know that my baby will have all the love in the world. I havent had the opportunity to be around many babies or even pregnant women, so everything is a first for me... So far my pregnancy has been really smooth. I truly can't complain. Financially being able to afford a baby , really stresses me out, but I am hoping from support from my family and friends. We live in a 1 bedroom apartment and wanted to try to get a house before the baby. However my credit is shot from student loans so it may be a tight squeeze for a while. I just dont care as long as my baby is healthy!!!\its a girl

today !!!

She weighs a whole 8oz!!! Yay!!!

7/22/08 Third trimester here we come... I am taking a fussy baby class, a breastfeeding class, and a class on how to care for newborns. She is coming very soon and I want to make sure we are prepared !!

10/28\

I delivered Abigail via c section on her due date October 21st... I was induced to due pre eclampsia but didn't dialate past 2 after15 hours of labor!!We are great..she is beautiful... I will take a while to heal..the pain is rough!! I tried to bf , but pain inhibited my milk production and we are using formula and I am pumping out what I can..

I love the name Abigail too. We are naming our daughter Abigail Rose and will call her Abby for short. =)

Thanks for the info, I guess that makes sense. Yes- we definitely WILL lose it again. We will be sexy beasts (as Austin Powers would say) again in no time!

You can look up the poplularity of a name by state at the social security admin website... http://www.ssa.gov/OACT/babynames/

I was just looking on there yesterday and saw my baby's name, Logan, was #5 in my state last year! Oh, well.

I read your post about baby names...I have a friend who named her daughter Abigale and she is the only one I know, they call her Abi. If you like the name don't worry about other people thinking it is too popular. If you don't know anyone directly who has the name and you guys love it I say go for it.

Your belly pics are cute. :)

Hi- I can relate on the weight issue. Right as I got pregnant, I was on weight watchers & just lost 21 lbs or so. I have already gained 30+ & am only 25 weeks. I wonder if the gain is so much due to such a great loss? I am trying to not worry about it but it bugs me some times. Ugh. Oh well.. will have plenty of time to take it off later. Just want my baby girl to be healthy. Take care!!

That's great that you've been doing yoga and water exercise in the pool! From your pics it does look like it's all in your belly, so that's good! My fiance keeps telling me my legs are big, I'm like "thanks a lot, jerk!".
