I am 30 years old with two wonderful children ages 7 and 5 years old and one gorgeous stepson age 12 years old. This is my and Ronnie's first pregnancy and we are very excited. With it being a repeat c-section the delivery date will be no later than September 9th, so I get to skip a few days. : )

It is so wonderful to be in a good place in my life. After having left an abusive relationship and standing on my own 2 feet for a while, it is really nice to simply live and love. . . .no drama. . . .no screaming, ranting or raving, no sleeping w/ eyes open out of fear. . . .being able to lay in peace at night. . . .thank you, Lord.

No matter what this life brings us we can make it through. Often times we don't know how strong we are until the time comes that we need that strength. Hard times do not make character, they reveal it. And, after the years of struggles and trying times the kiddos and I went through . . . I realize how strong I am and how capable I am. . .and I will do my best to raise my children to walk tall, hold their heads high, do not let anyone use you or abuse you and trust in the Lord. . .always.

The Lord never said all of our roads would be easy. . . but He did promise we would never have to walk them alone.

My life is blessed. . . with good times and bad times. . .all of them serving their purpose to get me to where I am today . . .my cup runs over. . .and the Lord surely did bless this once broken road. I love you Ronnie and my kiddos.

Dr checked me today and i keep having 1cm since few days...Maybe i will endup like you.But i think it will be ok....my baby is a happy boy in there

My kids go back the week I expect to deliver...Aug. 26! That is going to be challenging!

I'm glad you and baby are doing so good...I thought we were bad not settling on a name until 3 weeks before, but you don't even have a name!

We had one baby like that, and we named her right after she was born.

When do you get to go on mat. leave? Hope your day goes well and that you can rest after work...

We had a great time and didn't think about all the bad stuff! Then we got the news about the 2 buyers and it lifted our spirits. I won't lie to you, it is very hard to wait on God right now. This is truly a scary time for us and we NEED HIM to answer our prayers. I lost the rest of my plug last night when I went to the bathroom...that makes me so excited...I can't wait to meet her

Hi mama's! Well, I'm back from a wonderful anniversary trip with my hubby. We had a great time and did a lot of antiquing. I walked way too much and am hurting...but it was worth it! We got an old table that we will convert into an island for our farmhouse, I love it!

I've been losing my mucous plug over the past few days...I am so excited, she will be here in no time! I told some of you already, but Matt decided to change our girl's name AGAIN...she will be Maggie Elyse. We both love it and think it's perfect for her. I looked high and low for baby stuff on our trip. I decided to get the 'Shabby Chic' baby bedding from Target. We have chosen a white Jenny Lind crib. I am now just trying to decide between getting a car seat cover ($56) to go over our boy's car seat, or get a car seat stroller combo from Target ($130). Which do you ladies think I should choose? I am going to pass on the Peanut Shell baby sling, because I don't think it will be used long enought o justify the $65 price. We want to make wise purchases since this is our last baby and we won't be reusing anything.

We have news on our house! The Switzerland couple is hopefully wanting to make an offer, and the other couple is still waiting for their insurance money from their house fire, once they get it they said they are buying our house. So, now it's a matter of who offers what and when...until then, we continue to wait. Both couples are cash buyers, so that means a quick sale. I just want this to go fast now, we have done enough waiting.

Well, now that I'm back, write to me! I missed you!

Hi! Sorry it's taken so long to get back with you. We have been waiting for word from the realtor who showed our house last week. She had an appt to meet with the buyers to talk about our house, but so far she hasn't gotten back with us!!!! Girl, I don't even know how to keep going. Yes, I trust the Lord, but this is so ridiculous. I can't even talk about it anymore.

We are leaving tomorrow for our early anniversary trip, so I won't be back on here until Wed. Hope you and your family are doing great...and baby, too!!!

Wow, I read your profile & am truly inspired! This is my 3rd, but 1st unplanned. We haven't told anyone yet, I'm afraid of their reactions. Our $ situation isn't the best, but who's really is these days? I just wanted to thank you for being a breath of fresh air for me today!!

Ohmyg that's hysterical! We have hardwoods thru our entire first floor and would LOVE for someone to come and mop them - LOL! Can I borrow your son for a few weeks? I honestly havent scrubbed them in WEEKS! I HAVE swept them though - that's a start, right?? Yeah the whole breastfeeding thing is tough... I'm pumping and bottle feeding b/c bfeeding didnt work out so well. I'm dead tired of pumping though and keep getting clogged ducts which HURT sooo very badly. I want to quit but my hubby wants me to try and continue until he's 8 weeks old. Only 3 more weeks... I hope I can make it. The big Q is, will I be able to produce enough milk to get him to 8 weeks??? Probably not... we have his one month appointment today (a little late but that's okay) so I'll ask how to introduce formula then. It makes me sorta sad too, thinking this is my last kid - and he's our ONLY kid!!! I just hated being prego SO very badly that I cant imagine doing it again! I was very lucky w/ my pregnancy though - NO complications at ALL! I just dont want to be miserable for 40 weeks like that, ever again!

I hear you loud and clear! SOO dont miss being prego!! Ooh a step son too? How old is he? Does he live w/ you guys full time? Do you ever wish you were rich and could afford help? Not someone to raise my son or anything but someone to cook and clean... and maybe watch him for a few hours while I nap during the day! HA! Yeah I'm the queen of clutter - we have an island in our kitchen and I havent seen the counter top in MONTHS! Usually the kitchen table is the drop site for everything but my brother in laws were over Sunday so MORE crap got put on the island. It's hopeless... sigh... Are you planning on breast feeding this baby?

Welcome back! Glad you had such a good time, you'll have to tell me all the details like: did you have a clam bake, read a good book, get a nice tan, buy anything special, go to any great restaurants, etc????? Did your ankles get swollen or something? Mine are fine, but my feet and hands are huge...weird, huh? I'm so ready to have baby,too!

Still no offer on the house. We had 2 showings last week, both loved the house...don't know what to think. What would you do? We've prayed and done all we can do, but it isn't happening. I am down to 29 days until I think baby will be here, I can't stand the thought of moving with 4 kids and a newborn when I will get NO SLEEP

I told hubby I want to take it off the market and just stay here, but he isn't sure.
