I am 30 years old with two wonderful children ages 7 and 5 years old and one gorgeous stepson age 12 years old. This is my and Ronnie's first pregnancy and we are very excited. With it being a repeat c-section the delivery date will be no later than September 9th, so I get to skip a few days. : )

It is so wonderful to be in a good place in my life. After having left an abusive relationship and standing on my own 2 feet for a while, it is really nice to simply live and love. . . .no drama. . . .no screaming, ranting or raving, no sleeping w/ eyes open out of fear. . . .being able to lay in peace at night. . . .thank you, Lord.

No matter what this life brings us we can make it through. Often times we don't know how strong we are until the time comes that we need that strength. Hard times do not make character, they reveal it. And, after the years of struggles and trying times the kiddos and I went through . . . I realize how strong I am and how capable I am. . .and I will do my best to raise my children to walk tall, hold their heads high, do not let anyone use you or abuse you and trust in the Lord. . .always.

The Lord never said all of our roads would be easy. . . but He did promise we would never have to walk them alone.

My life is blessed. . . with good times and bad times. . .all of them serving their purpose to get me to where I am today . . .my cup runs over. . .and the Lord surely did bless this once broken road. I love you Ronnie and my kiddos.

Bfeeding SUCKS! I gave up, which sucks but oh well. I'm pumping every few hours and bottle feeding him so it's not like he's loosing out on the milk. Plus I kinda like being able to see how much he eats @ each feeding rather than guessing. Yeah - the emotional roller coaster is tough. I've had a bum day today - cried a lot. I just feel so overwhelmed with everything, and the thought of my hubby returning to work on monday has me terrified! My mom is going to be here all day with me, but... eventually it'll be just ME! sigh...

Ahh thanks!!! It's exhausting as you know having 2 already... I thought I couldnt sleep being prego b/c I was so uncomfortable. HA! It's tough I tell you - tough! I cried a lot yesterday b/c I didnt get ANY sleep the night before. I mean, uncontrollably crying - hysterical crying... bad! Today - MUCH better b/c I was able to get some sleep last night (5 or 6 hours MAYBE but in 2 good long stretches!) - wow... anyway, better sign off. I think dinner is ready (thank you mom!!!) and I need to get my breast milk into the fridge!

Hey - I'll keep this short. Hubby is trying to nap but for some reason I have an energy burst! The membrane stripping wednesday worked wonders - I was contracting within hours of having it done - who woulda thunk it? Tyler was born Thursday 6/26 @ 12:32pm after 20 hours of labor. He was 6 lbs 15 oz and 20 inches long. I got an epi @ 4 cn, about an hour after being admitted into the hospital. My BP crashed about 2 hours later after they flipped me - 55/29. It was pretty scary - the anesetheologist (spelling is jacked, I know!) rushed in and gave me a shot of epenefrin or something and it brought my BP back up but raised T's HB in the process. After a few more hours all was well... I delivered vaginally after about 40 minutes of pushing. I was able to reach down and pull him out after his head/shoulders were delivered - amazing experience! Anyway - he's doing good - we are home - and exhausted. I'll post pictures and a birth story later today or tomorrow.....

Hmm - contractions 2-5 minutes apart for the last 2 hours, lasting anywhere from 40 seconds to over a minute. Not terribly intense at this point but I fear it could be a long night!

Funny you say that about medical transcribing b/c I'd looked into doing something like that a while ago! Something from home would be ideal so I could work during naps and in the evenings when my hubby was home. Wow - I hear you - I'd hate her too - HAHA!!! Some people just have that knack for being super organized and it sounds like she was blessed with it!!

Oh wow - u are TOTALLY lucky you have family that can help! Does your sister have a day care? Um, well if my hubby doesn�t get laid off in the 12 weeks I'm off, I'm going to stay home for at least a year. It's important to both of us to keep our kids out of day care until they are older and need some socialization. I'll probably do something PT after 6 months or so, just for my own sanity� but I'll have to do it in the evenings or weekends when my hubby is home - again, so we don�t have to put our kid in day care! My MIL is about 30 minutes away, but she's older and I'm not sure if she'd be up for driving to our house a few days a week to watch a squirmy kid while I go to work. We'll see�

Yeah tell me about it, I have heartburn radiaiting to my toes and those braxton hicks feel more like belly splits.....LOL..I swear b/w that and my ligamnts streching, I tell you , I think I just might have to go for an epidural, lol....and yes, my emotions are like a ocean, one moment it is still and the next it is rough, More power to our childern and us!!! Oh nad lets not forget the oh so supportive hubby;s!!!!good luck!!!

What are your childcare plans w/ the new baby after you return to work? Yeah I only get 70% for 6 weeks, then the 2nd 6 weeks are unpaid - bleck! A girl I work with - her brother and sister in law live in Sweden (I think) and get something crazy like 3 years or something� They adopted a little boy from Korea and she was going to take off the first half of the time, and he was going to take off the 2nd half. Maybe it wasn�t 3 years - but it was something totally crazy like that! Guess we get the short end of the stick living in the US - LOL! Oh well� as you said, be thankful for what we DO get, right?!

Ahh sweet - that's great U got those for free! My OB clinic was charging like 250 for the cheapest package - ugh! Not very computer savvy huh? Too funny! So you have hard copies, not a disk w/ the pictures? Yeah that makes it more difficult... sigh... dr's appointment is actually wednesday at 1. Tomorrow is my last half day at work though - FOREVER!!! Provided my hubby doesnt get laid off during my 12 week leave from work!

Well, i WAS due on July 7th, but my water actually broke the day that i messaged you (wednesday 5:30am). So now im sitting n the hospital w/ my beautiful baby girl Kaylin!!!

Oh wow - that must have been so cool for him to feel!!! They grow up so fast, don�t they? I look at my nephews who are 5 and 7 now and I remember visiting my 7 year old nephew in the hospital right after he was born - it really seems like it was just yesterday!!! Now he's going into 2nd grade in the fall - CRAZY!!! I'm hoping to heck that the membrane stripping next Wednesday works. Wish she could do it Monday but she isn't in the office on Mondays. Oh well� it'd be great to have the baby next week b/c then my mom will be here and I'll be ALL ready for him!!!

Ugh - it doesn�t feel like it! These last few weeks I've been so antsy!!! I lost my mucus plug this am� it started last night - yuck! Wish that was some indicator of what's to come� well I suppose eventually it is - LOL! But I wish it was a tell tale sign that labor was hours away, u know? Awe - a 2 week old baby? They are so sweet and cuddly when they are new like that!! Are your kids excited for their new sister??

Keep those fingers crossed - I could use all the luck anyone can give right now - LOL! Talk about envious� I want to cry b/c EVERYONE is going to have their babies before me!!!! This girl I work with is due 2 days after me, and yesterday I found out they moved her DD to July 1st b/c the measurements were off or something. I dunno - I left before she showed up for work so I never go the story from her� ANYWAY, this am I find out her water broke and she's having contractions so she called her dr and the dr said she'd meet her @ the hospital. Sure enough, she's at a 3 and is 100%.... GRR!!! I was supposed to have mine before HER! I'm just jealous� sigh� I'm sure nothing is wrong - baby was just playing peek a boo - hehe! It's a bonus that you get another U/S - I would have loved a 3rd but only got 2, sigh�

Man, 9 lbs @ 27 weeks - must be nice - LOL! A repeat U/S is always cool - sneak another peek at the wee one! So a second girl huh? Is your son unhappy with that prospect?? I'm feeling good - ready to be DONEEEEEEEEE! I had my apt yesteday - I'm @ a 2 and 70% - she 'fiddled' w/ my membranes yesterday and it hurt like hell - she'll full strip them next week (great!) @ my Wednesday appointment at which point I'll be 40w 2d. My mom gets into town Monday and can only stay thru the 11th so I'm HOPING that does something, and I have this kid by the end of next week!!!!!!!

Yeah - I can relate. As weird as I think it is to bfeed your kid until they are like 5, I might do it just to keep the boobs - JOKING! Wow - what week are you in now?? 9 lbs?? That's crazy - I swear I gained a pound a week basically, up until the end � as of yesterday I was at 35 which puts me over 170 - VERY SAD!!! Oh well� Just another reason to hope that bfeeding goes well so I can shed that baby weight sooner than later!!!!!!!!

Ohman - I wish I had trouble finding a bra to fit my boobs!!! A full B seems good - but it's hard to tell how good they really are with this gut - u know? Sigh� I hope I am able to breast feed so I can loose some of this weight, and still keep the ladies around for a while!!! Oh wow - that sounds fabulous and definitely NOT something you can miss out on!!! I know - I don�t get the rude comments either, and as I said, 99% of them are from MEN! Most of the women get the sensitive subject of putting on weight, regardless of being prego - and they steer clear of the issue. How much weight did you gain w/ your other 2 kiddos? I've gained 33 thus far, but have another appointment today� we spent Sunday w/ the in laws and I ALWAYS over eat there! My MIL always has chips and dip out for snacking, stuff I NEVER eat at home! Sigh� I'm guessing I'll be up to 35 lbs at this point which will put me over 170, which might make me tear up slightly�

Ohdearheavens - LOL!!!!! I woulda gone back and kicked that guy in the balls! A few weeks ago this guy I don�t even speak to says to me 'wow, how far along are you?' and I said '36 weeks' or something like that� and he was like 'WOW YOUR HUGE!!!!!!!!!!' yeah, thanks� just what every woman wants to hear, pregnant or not! Now every time I see him, I glare at him. The nerve� The beach sounds fabulous - where's it at? I think you'll be just fine - I was imaging some packed public beach which I just couldn�t do right now! Oh man - SO jealous! I happen to be 'one of those girls' who LOVES boobs, and WANTS more!! I started out a medium A (blah�..) and am a full B now which seems SO small with this HUGE gut! I cant WAIT to see how HUGE they get when my milk comes in! I'm SO hoping for D's� LOL! I know, your sitting there shaking your head at me right now - HA! I've always wanted a boob job, and I told my husband this is a good way to 'try them on for size' without paying for them! This way I'll know just what size I want - LOL! In theory anyway, right?
