My Story...
I first found out I was pregnant on June 6th but couldn't believe it. I took another pregnancy test the next day then I went to the clinic for a pregnancy test there. After that the doctor was going to send me to get blood work done just so I could be 100% sure but I didn't end up going. I made an appointment with a nurse at the health unit. Before my second appointment I decided I should tell my mom so she could be there with me. It was really the most scary thing I've ever had to do but afterwards I had Tim there by my side which really made a difference. My mom told my dad the next day and he was actually really calm about it. My mom came with me to my next doctors appointment, she ended up asking more questions than I did and shes now in love with the nurse from the health unit. After that visit we didn't go back to the health unit my mom looked into getting me midwives which I LOVE. My first appointment there was mostly just information given and we tried to hear the baby's heart which we couldn't find so early. On July 23rd I had my first ultrasound but because I wasn't 12 weeks yet they wouldn't let me see anything and they wouldn't tell me anything, it was pretty disappointing. The same day I had a midwife appointment because I needed to get a pap test done. Before my pap test was done they checked for the heartbeat again and it was just perfect http://youtube.com/watch?v=MvVqUBeWZCk - my mom videotaped it and I put it on youtube so my family could hear it. On the 24th my midwives called me to tell me that they had the results of my ultrasound and everything was perfect AND there was only 1 baby in there so I was very pleased. I'll be 12 weeks as of the 26th and I'm loving how fast the time is going. I can't wait to hold my baby

I read ur comment on de teen pregnancy page, i know ware ur comin from my ex was a liar as well and a bad one at tat, plus e was very aggressive, violent and a cheater. So i left him and it was de best thing i ever did i am now a single mother to my 3 week old baby girl i wont lie it is hard but at least u dnt hav 2 share ur baby with any1 lol

But if he was happy somewhere else then he wasn't worth having in the first place. Maybe sit him down and explain completely how you feel, how he lies and if he aint going to stop that and decides to leave then it's probably for the best.

Don't worry hun, I felt exactly the same. Slightly different because I was scared my partner would leave me and I'd never find someone again. But I can tell you BOTH my brothers have married/engaged with 2 lassies that already have children. My brother Tim met his wife Sharon when her daughter was 4, they have now been married 5 years and have two more. My brother Andrew has met... well my friend Linzi, she has a 4yr old and 2yr old. She's now pregnant with Andrews. I don't really like her though, I know her past and so scared she will hurt him.
The point is, don't hold onto someone because you're scared of being alone. You will put so much stress on yourself it is unreal. A realationship should be a happy, confident thing that you can 100% rely on. How about maybe asking for a break? See how you feel after a short time apart.

Hey hun, I read your comment about your partner.
The thing is after the birth it is very easy to become low and the last thing you want is the added stress that your partner might not be up to the job. At the end of the day, yes we all want our kids to have a mummy and daddy, but do they want to have both at the expense of the happiness of one? Babies can pick up on vibes, you need to make sure you're doing the right thing for the baby. And someone new will whisk you both away in the future:)

Im getting EXTREMELY excited!! I cant wait to be a mommy already. But it def. feels like im dreaming. Reality hasnt hit me yet, im still soaking up pregnant life. but like you said.. im sure once i hit around 36 weeks, it'll kick in. My christmas was pretty sweet. I got the digital camera i asked for. I pretty much love taking pictures of myself, imagine it 10 times worse when my lil one gets here. =] Ahh! i cant wait!

You need to put pictures of your tummy on here girly! I wana see if your biger then me. I still feel smal for almost being five months too. Im just waiting for that morning I wake up with a BIG belly!!! thats wonderful that you get to have another ulrasound. That is far to go and alot of money but you mom really wants it done, huh? well let me know how it goes!! and if its a GIRL or a BOY!!!! Good luck!

So you dont get ultrasound every month? I get A ultrasound every month practicly!!Maybe you are having a little girl. I wouldnt say its a boy or girl till you know for sure!! but I have been feeling my kicks doown low too. its wierd cuz the doctor says the baby can go from anywhere from your belly button down. but I only feel her kick down.
