Friday, 27 June He's just a grouchy old fart. He has been posting in there for a couple of years and a lot of the other people that posted back then aren't around anymore. Now, it's like a new generation is taking over and he doesn't like that he's not 'on the A-list', as he says about me. He's just jealous because people don't pay as much attention to him as they used to, but he apparently doesn't realize it's because he's an asshole. carly4bump -

Thursday, 26 June Well, it was in response to you, SARAH, about Mike. He wasn't one of them. In fact, he was one that tried to calm me down about that 'dead baby' thread, pretending (I know now that was a farce) to be my friend. You read all that was going on. Supposedly, I'm the one that started the fight with that girl, then another friend of mine supposed ganged up on her with me. Wtf? I wish he wasn't illiterate. That sure wasn't anything that was in the forum that I was in. made2bmom -
Thursday, 26 June That's why this site rocks! I've gotten a lot of advice and support here and it's nice to be able to relate to women who are right where you are in the pregnancy. We don't have much left to get, mostly little things. It's great that you'll have the work shower too and that the woman organizing is sticking to it! Good luck!! armywifeash -
Wednesday, 25 June Thank you! You are so sweet to offer! GoonieMomma -
Wednesday, 25 June Re: showers. Yes, only about half the gifts were off our registry. Which is FRUSTRATING due to Target's non-flexible return policy; and no one included receipts, bc of course they thought everything they bought was THE cutest. However: we have 45 0-3 month outfits. Assuming he's in them the full 3 months, he'll wear each one 2-3 times. Ridiculous. AND people bought stuff for 3-6 months like SHORTS. It'll be november when they're 3-6!! I'm very frustrated, too, and upset that I spent so much TIME making sure the registry was perfect.
Someone went and got us a personalized baby bag, but we registered for 2 that we liked. Now we can't return the personalized one, which is too small to be our big bag and too big to be a "quick run" bag.

Wednesday, 25 June Oh my gosh, I know exactly what you mean about the shower! I just had my shower on Sunday and it was sort of a churchwide thing. They put it in the Sunday program two weeks in a row and both times mentioned that I was registered at Target. I had only two items of clothing on there because my best friend gave me almost all or her son's clothes and my sister and mom buy clothes like nobody's business! The stuff I had on there was bottles, a sling carrier, the bedding, stuff like that...things I needed that I didn't have with my daughter. Or things I gave to my sister when she had her daughter. I was basically starting over with the necessities. So at my shower, I got a lot of clothes. Which is nice, but so many people ignored the registry. You're right to feel that way! I didn't register for diapers either because I've been buying them every two weeks for 4 months now...diapers are not needed! But I got a couple of packs at the shower and a couple of my friends made a diaper cake (a 3 layered creation made of rolled up diapers). God bless them, everyone was so nice to get me gifts and all and I did get a lot of stuff I registered for. But hello! You would think people would respect that more. If I wanted a bunch of cute clothes, I could've gone through and registered for all that.
I hope you get a lot of the things you need! Snugglebug -
Tuesday, 24 June I wish that were the case, but I know it isn't, since he was breech when it first started hurting a couple of weeks ago. :( I'm at a loss for what to do. Lying down just makes it ten times worse, for some reason. We have a tall bed and I basically have to climb in and I can barely do that anymore. The pain from lifting my leg just about brings tears to my eyes. I told Tim that I think I'm/we're going to have to start sleeping in the spare bedroom soon, since the bed isn't so high and it'll be easier for me to get in and out. :( No, the furniture is from somewhere else. I can't wait! I did finally get my order from Walmart, it came in sooner than they said. YAY! So, now I have the bottles that I wanted, the freezer/storage system that fits the bottles, and the breast pump. And of all the things to get excited about ... hubby was home for lunch and helped me open it all up. He was like a kid with a new toy at Christmas, HAHAHA! A man excited about a breast pump, bottles and the pieces to combine the two. Omg, I'm not sure if I should laugh or be nervous. He is a bit feminine sometimes, lol, just kidding. ;D Snugglebug -
Tuesday, 24 June And thank you for checking on me. ;) Snugglebug -
Tuesday, 24 June Yep, everything is fine. I was just really busy yesterday, trying to clean and get some things done in the nursery. Our furniture is being delivered today - YAAAAAAAAAAAAY! :D Dude, my freakin' bajingo is KILLING me! I'm not trying to complain, it's just making me nervous. Doc said it was probably because of his position before, but he has moved since then and it still hurts. In fact, it hurts more as time goes by. I just hope they didn't miss something. Baby is still kicking around and all, so I know that's a good sign. But, dang!!!!!!!!!!! I think my bajingo needs a massage! HAHAHA! maryamene -

Monday, 23 June I have Pcos as well. We lost our first in 2006 at 6 weeks, that was also when I was diagnosed.
After the removed a cyst from my right ovary, and told me how important dieting was for fertility, it helped! I started to ovulate but i wasn't producing any mature eggs so my ob put me on Clomid 150mg. 2 years later, i am now 27 weeks pregnant and haven't had any complications thus far.
So tell your friend, it is possible and Good Luck!

Sunday, 22 June Hey, I posted about PCOS and I was wondering what your friend has tried as far as treatment. I saw a specialist in Cincinnati, Ohio and he put me on a strict diet and put me on glucoghage XR. That worked for me but I know some ladies that that has not worked for. I have had a total of 2 miscarriages...one at 14 weeks and one at 16 weeks. After I started the treatment I had a molar pregnancy, which is very rare. I had one son after the m/c and suffered with infertility for 7 years after that. I got pregnant again 3 months after the molar pregnancy and had my second son. We decided we would not try again but were surprised to learn we were pregnant last December. She is a true miracle! I was just a little curious to what your friend has gone through. luvbaby -
