HEY ALL MY GIRLS! I GAVE BIRTH TO SERENITY JUKARI ON TUESDAY, MAY 6, 2008 AT 1:58. WHEN I GET HOME I WILL POST UP MY BIRTH STORY LATE TONIGHT! TAKE CARE AND THANKS FOR CHECKING UP ON US!

UPDATE: 5/5/08 MONDAY

YEAH! I'm so happy, I get induced tomorrow at 7:30 a.m. The only down side though is my baby got back in breech position. That spot must be real comfortable to her. LOL! They are going to move her and then I'm getting induced. I will keep you ladies informed. Look for my birth story soon. I'm going to go and get me some sleep now. I live an hour away from the hospital. TTYL!

UPDATE: 5/2/08 FRIDAY

I am so mad! I just talked to my doctor on Thursday afternoon and she informed me that I can't be induced on Wednesday. She is booked with c-sections that morning and 2 other people are getting induced. I'm like WTF! I thought she is supposed to be able to adjust and work around those types of schedules. But she is only human like everyone else so I gave in. Truth be told I wanted to cry. I had told everybody that she will be here on Monday. My babies were so excited! Oh well, now I'm hoping that mother nature will due her thang this weekend and let my body run its natural course. I feel her kicks and they are strong! As long as she is happy and healthy I am fine. Let me go and cry as I look at the baby channel. Just look at all those happy mothers giving birth to their baby! :)

UP DATE: 4/28/08 MONDAY

Today I went the doctor for ultrasound. I saw my little sweet on the monitor! She had her hand on her forehead as is she was thinking about something. How cute! LOL! She already weighs 7lbs 13oz. She also has a head full of hair and those legs were wide open. She has moved out of breech postion and is now laying the correct way. I was so glad! Having look up how they were going to turn her around online had scared the mess out of me. It looks so painful! If I go another week the doctor said she could possibly get up to 8lbs. She is doing great and has a real strong heartbeat. I'm still sitting up high. This week I'm going to go walking like I did today and hopefully she will drop. Hell maybe I'll even go into labor this week. LOL! If not I'm getting induced on Monday. Yeah Me! :)

38 weeks! Only 13 more days to go!

Update: 4/22/2008 Tuesday

Today I had a doctor's appointment. First of all I would like to say that I was actually on time. LOL! I'm always late and today it tickled me that I could be on time. With three kids with you there's not a whole lot you can do to be on time. Somebody is going to slow you down! :) Anyway they were late as hell calling me back in the room. The office closes at 5 as usual and I didn't get back in the room until 5:15. You know I was at the point of walking out but I really wanted to know how my sweet pea was doing. I did the usual piss in the cup thingy and got undressed from the waist down. My doctor came and told me I passed the test and I don't have group B strep. (Excuse me if I said it backwards.) Then she did the exam. She told me my baby is still up high. All I could think at the time was DAMN! All the walking I have been doing and nothing has taken effect. Wait..let me count my lucky stars that we are both alright. She then checks to see which way Serenity is laying. I kept seeing this buldge like she was poking threw my stomach but it was really her head. LOL! All this time I thought that she was in position, face down, butt up. The doctor tells me she is in Breech Position. Then she had a hard time finding her heartbeat. I got scared but then it was because she kept wiggling around. I finally heard those strong thumps, music to my ears! Now I have to go back on Monday for an ultra-sound. The doctor informed me if she hasn't moved into position, she is going to send me to the hospital. Once I get there they are going to oil up my belly and move her. All I could think of was "OUCH"! I have seen it done a couple of times and the mothers seemed as if they were in so much pain. Hope my sweet pea changes her mind and moves for mama! I can't take the pain. Have any of you guys had to experience that. Please give me the details on what to expect.

Yeah! I'm 36 weeks! We don't have far to go now!

Update....4/7/08

Today I went to the doctor and everything is fine. I got tested for something called group b. She its a virus that pregnant women sometimes get and it's routine to check for it. My baby is still sitting high. The doc told me to start walking around the track and eventually I will drop. Hell I need to walk so I can have her already. I'm getting all these little cute outfits and I can't wait to see her in them. LOL! She measured me and she still thinks that my baby will be around 8lbs. I'm hoping not all my other kids weighed in at 7lbs and 2 or 3 ozs. I don't know if I can push out an 8lb baby. I struggled with 7lbs, all the crying, pushing and throwing up. Hello everyone. I'm new to this site but not about being pregnant. This is my fourth time being pregnant. I have three kids, their ages range from 8-6. My daughter is the oldest and I have two boys. Right now I'm expecting a girl. I can't wait until she gets here. With this pregnancy I had a lot of ups and downs. I constantly find myself in pain, mostly its my hips and back. Going to sleep at night I a job for me. I toss and turn all night and no position feels good to me. I sleep with a pillow between my thighs hoping that will stop or ease my pain. Of course it never does! I have resulted to sleep on the sofa because it reclines and my bed doesn't. All in all I'm doing just fine and this will all pay off in the end.

HELLO EVERYONE. TODAY WAS A PRETTY GOOD DAY! I DIDN `T EVEN REALIZE THAT I WASN `T IN ANY PAIN UNTIL MY DAUGHTER SAID MOMMY, YOU ARE WALKING SO MUCH FASTER. LOL! ALOT OF GOOD THAT DID ME, NOW MY RIGHT FOOT IS HUGE. I JUST DON `T UNDERSTAND IT. I KEEP IT ELEVATED MOST OF THE DAY AND I DRINK PLENTY OF FLUIDS. MAYBE I JUST NEED TO TAKE IT EASY. ITS TIME TO START STICKING TO ONE NAME AND REMEMBERING IT. I CAN `T WAIT TILL NEXT MONTH GETS HERE, THEN I `LL REALLY FEEL LIKE I `M AT THIRD BASE. READY FOR A HOME RUN!

A QUICK UPDATE..MY DOCTOR CALLED AND I PASSED MY THREE HOUR SUGAR TEST! YEAH! I HAD NEVER BEEN SO HUNGRY AND THIRSTY IN MY LIFE. WHEN IT WAS ALL OVER WE WENT TO A BUFFET. MAYBE THATS WHERE ALL THIS SWELLING IS COMING FROM THAT I WAS DISCUSSING EARILER. TAKE CARE!

Good morning! Last night was better for me that Monday night. On Monday night I didn `t fall asleep until 4 that morning. Then I over slept causing my kids to be late for school! They were cool about it seeing that they are not morning people at all. I `m still having pelvic pain. It feels like something is pulling me open! My right foot is very swollen. I try to keep it elevated while my kids are in school. It still hasn `t gone down and I can `t wear any type of shoes. Only house slippers and I hate wearing them out to the store. My angel is moving about freely. Everytime I listen to Keshia Coles `Let It GO ` she `s all over the place. My daughter thinks its amazing, its so funny to me. Just think that she could actually be dancing to the beat of the music. Her most active periods are between 12 and 2 o `clock in the morning. Let `s hope that she changes after delivery! :)

YEA! I `m 31 weeks and counting the days until she gets here. Her kicks are getting stronger and stronger. Maybe I have a little scoccer player in there. LOL! As for as my physical...still the same pelvic pain. I `m now noticing the waddle walk that everyone says I `ve been doing. It feels like I `m starting to weigh more. My right foot is still swollen but I have a doctor `s appointment on Monday. Hopefully she can shed some light on the situation. I `m still wearing house slippers, I have to go and find me comfortable shoes to wear on Monday. Just because I `m pregnant does not mean that I can `t dress! OKAY! Finally I think I got her a name that I `m going to stick to. Hopefully everyone will like it, if not..to bad she `s my little sweet pea anyway! UNTIL NEXT TIME......

Hello everyone. Today I feel good and I look great. This morning I took me a long nap after my kids went to school. As a result I feel totally refreshed! The kids and me are going out to eat pizza tonight as a reward to them. I `m trying to spend as much time with them as possible. When the baby gets here I know my time is going to be limited for the first couple of weeks. Just until we all get the hang of things!

Hey peeps! Last night was awful for me. My legs kept getting numb and if not that cramps. This hip pain that I have is something serious. Tonight I `m going to put a pillow underneath my hip. I hope that this helps. As far as everthing else goes we are doing fine. My sweet pea is kicking and tumbling and I can `t wait to see her!

Today and last night has been good for me. I feel refreshed and the swelling in my right foot is going down. It feels like my days are winding up. I `m dreaming about her alot and how my kids are going react when she gets here. I was supposed to go to the doctor today but I had to reschedule for Wednesday. Everything is okay for now. I `m going shopping sometime this week to get all the things for her that I haven `t gotten yet. Is there anything new out there that I don `t know about? I would like the websites for shoes and cute clothing.

Good afternoon! I `m feeling fine, no complaints that I can think of. My baby has the most unusual time to be active. It `s always from 1:00 in the morning up until 3 a.m. I talk to her and when I rub my stomach it `s like I `m feeling her little hand. Now I `m trying what to let her wear when she comes home. So many items to choose from! How its going for my other mommies to be? :)

Yeah! I `m now 32 weeks. I finally made it to my doctors appt yesterday. Everything is going great. She think `s that my baby is going to weigh more than 7lbs. I appear to be much larger than my other pregnanices. I `m so ready to see her. I went and bought some more items for her. For some odd reason I can `t find any headbands. If anyone knows where I can find some, please let me know.

Good morning! I `m feeling okay,not the greatest. My hip and pelvic pain seems to be getting worse. My doctor has already advised me that I `m stretching. Glad to know that my body is getting ready for the process but is there a pain free way? LOL! I `m going to buy me a body pillow since I heard that they are great. Maybe I can stop sleeping with a pillow between my legs trying to support my hip. I appear to be getting bigger every day. Even the doctor think she is going to be a big baby. I just hope that she is happy and healthy.

HMMM OR SHOULD I SAY YARN? I HAVE BEEN SO LAZY TODAY. USUALLY BY NOW I WOULD HAVE DINNER READY. I SLEPT UNTIL 12:30. THEN I WAS LATE TAKING MY SHOWER. I `M SO GLAD THAT MY KIDS ARE UNDERSTANDING. PLUS THE FACT THAT THEY SAY MY TUMMY LOOKS LIKE I SWALLED A WATERMELON. WHAT CAN I DO TO GET MY PEP BACK IN STEP?

I `m up late tonight. I feel awful! I can `t stop coughing and my throat is starting to get itchy. On top of all that my nose is stuffy and I can `t get any sleep! There is nothing I can take to ease my pain. Everyone says I `m too close to be trying to take some medicine. I `m going to hold off on calling the doctor since I have to see her in the next week anyway. Maybe she will give me something that won `t harm my baby. Do you guys have any suggestions?

This past couple of days has not been good for me. I got sick late Wednesday night. When Thursday rolled around I couldn `t even get out of bed. I was sick as a dog. For a minute I that I had the flu. My back and legs were so sore. My head was killing me. To top it all off,my nose is stuffy and I have this awful cough. I wanted to go the emergency room so bad but I just couldn `t move. I was so weak and nothing wouldn `t say on my stomach. I mainly ate soup and crackers and drunk water and juice. Friday rolled around and I went to the bathroom and I coughed real hard while I was peeing. To my surprise I saw blood. Right away I started crying. I called my mom and she told me not to worry that I had put stress on my cervix by coughing and thats what bought on the bleeding. I wasn `t even trying to hear that so I called my doctor. She called me back right away within 10 minutes. I told her what happened and she said the exact samething that my mom told me. I caused stress to my cervix while coughing. That is where the blood came from. She told me to take something for my cough and stay off my feet. She also told me to drink plenty of water. I call her back tomorrow to schedule an early doctor `s appointment. Maybe I should have listened to mom after all anyway! LOL! Today is my first day really moving around and I `m still kind of weak. I `m hoping and praying that my baby and I are going to be fine. I wouldn `t wish this feeling on anyone!

Today I `m feeling a little better. The bleeding has stopped and the swelling in my right foot is gone. My only problem is that I have been kind of weak. I can `t stand or walk for long periods of time. So now I `m trying to eat small meals throughout the day to give me some kind of strength. My cold still hasn `t gone anywhere and this cough is just awful. The sides of my stomach and chest are really sore. I go the doctor next week so maybe then I can find out what kind of progress I `m in.

Well health wise I can `t complain. The usual hip pain is still there and now my right foot has swollen up again. I `m thinking about going ahead and packing my bag and hers. You never know what may happen between now and then. I `m yet to decide on which outfit she is coming home in. Lately I `ve been just tired. Everytime I get up to do something I have to hurry and sit back down. It feels as if I just have to faint somedays. Maybe its because I `m getting larger and my air supply seems limited. I can `t wait for April to roll around so I can start my countdown! My clothes are way to small and I `m not buying anymore. I `ll just raid my mom `s closet. I will buy me some new shoes though. It `s getting warm and I can `t stand sweaty feet! I might even treat myself to a pedicure since I can `t do it myself. It `s a struggle trying to paint my toenails and keep them clipped! I `m also going to make me a hair appointment. I will not be looking getto fabalous this time! What are you moms doing to prepare your self for the actual birthing day?

Well today I `m kind of out of it. I slept until 12 o `clock and I still feel tired. I `ve been drinking water all day trying to keep my feet elevated. It `s so swollen and now its starting to hurt. I `m glad my doctors appointment is Wednesday. Maybe she will give me some good news. I might as well go ahead and pre-register at the hospital. My birth plan is completed and I still haven `t packed my bad. Nor have I decided on a going home outfit or a decent name. Everyday I change it. I think I `m going to write down all the names. Then I will put them in a jar, shake it up and choose. It can `t get any better than that! If any of you know any cute girl names feel free to share them with me. Until next time....let me waddle around and find something to do. LOL! :)

labor labor labor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i felt everything!!! as soon as they broke my water those contractions where amazingly painful. they did give me pitocin cause they didn't believe that my labor doesn't last long. that pitocin just makes your contractions come quicker and that got on my last nerves! ugh! i had told them that i didn't want pitocin but hey whatever, the past is the past and i have a wonderful baby girl! when i thought i was having a boy!

THE WAITING GAME IS RIGHT! NO CONTRACTIONS, NO PLUG, NO NOTHING! ONE SWOLLEN FOOT, SORE THROAT, HEADACHES EVERYDAY, AND MY KIDS ARE WORKING ME! UGGGGGGUGGGGUGGGUGGGG
