Hi everyone

Well i moved out from Scotland to Australia in June 2005, married my Aussie husband in September 2007 and now pregnant with baby no.1 due in March 2009! How time flies when you're having fun :-)

Have been really lucky and not had many bad symptoms - mainly just tiredness for the first 12 weeks but luckily no sickness.

Got to see our little J.J (Junior's Junior - nickname from my step-dad!) at my 20 week scan but both hubby and I decided not to find out the sex. Going to keep that one as a big surprise for the day!

Would love to chat to other mums due around same time especially in the Perth area of Western Australia.

Yay! I eventually finished the second canvas painting to match the first one that I did - pic is up of it aswell.. not sure if I've spoiled it with the cogs - but it just looked so plain.. I could always paint them out though...

Ello hun,

Well when I went for a check up a few weeks back (i'd had bleeding) the midwife said to me I was having a girl based on the heart beat. Apparantley boys heart beats sound like horses going clip clop clip clop and girls are more like trains with a swish swish sound - and thats what princess was sounding like.
I had 2 scans 1 at 19 and one at 20 weeks - both confirmed i'm having a girly.

Enjoy your time camping......lol!! tis funny. I couldn't do it at the mo!!! This weekend I was meant to be going back home but staying here now - gonna go nursery shopping with the ma in law.

Let me know how you get on with the mummies with tummies class - I'm thinking of doing something similar.

Righto, gotta go - hubba (policeman) has just finished work and I need to go pick him up as the weather is poo and he's got his bike - bless!

Awww how lush is it that your mams coming over to stay with you - she wont want to go home!! Has your bro got any kids or is this her first grand kiddy? I'm only 350 miles away from my mam and miss her loads, my step bro has got a daughter and my brother has got a son - she sees my step bro's daughter all the time (she's lovely and 7) due to a family fall out she hardly sees my nephew Kian, he's coming up to 2 and has special needs. I know she feels a little bit jeleous that pete's mam is just round the corner from us.

Oooh as for spots, I got a mahoooosive one this morning - it really is quite spesh - bright red and beaming..... :) lol

As for the moving around, sometimes it does feel like wind pains, I mean the kicks do feel .... not painful ya know but sometimes they are harmless but sometimes it's a bit uncomfortable - especially when she's bouncing on my bladder!

I'm not doing much today, bought a maternity coat from debenhams but decided I paid too much for it so gonna take it back I think........ then walk ze pooch down the beach and then just potter around.

How pretty! Is that the Indian Ocean? Is it summer time there in Australia? How neat that you are so far away and the communications that we can have in today's technologies:) It's closing in on winter time here in Michigan, USA and i'm not a winter person, so this picture looks heavenly to me:)
