I am taking the One Source prenatal vitamins from Wal-Mart because the ones the doc prescribed were way too expensive - even with insurance! And I think they are just fine. They have everything in there that you and the baby need - all the right amounts. And they are cheaper. All of my prenatal doctor visits have been perfect too.

I just read your post on the eating disorders forum and I can definitely relate. To be honest...it has been prayer that has helped ecause no one knows my secret and I have been battling it alone....if you are able to share it...do that and get the support because it is difficult. I have no where near gotten cured so I know. Send me messages anytime. Take care.

I just found out Saturday with 2 positive preg tests.
My first dr's visit is not for 2 more weeks.
I can't wait!!! This is my first pregnancy too.
So we are in this together.

Hey Amelia... I just read your post on the 'eating disorder' forum, and I want to really commend you on your wanting to do what's right for the babe, that shows the mother in you.. I can't say I've ever had an eating disorder, but have battled my own demons in drugs/alcohol and prostitution... It isn't easy but I am proud to say my life has been changed drastically since October 31, 2007 when I decided that enough torture to this little baby was enough, at that point I was 13 weeks and just entering the second tri-mester.. I am so proud to say that I am now 34 weeks and expecting a very healthy little boy very soon... Things that helped me were staying very close to family, going to therapy (some people don't beleive in this or feel ashamed to go, but if you have something you cannot battle yourself a 3rd party can always help, and if your worried about finances there should be a center that doesn't charge for counseling. but you may have to do some research to find it) also I was honest with my Dr. to make sure if there was any damage done that it would be detected before it was too late... just keep it honest hon, your not going to do perfect everytime, but you will get better with time and your baby will be healthy and happy as well.... Please keep in contact with me, and you can vent if you need to whenever!! Good luck
