About Me:
My name is Sarah, I am 20 years old and expecting my second child! I have a beautful daughter, Shayla that will be one on Feb. 21st. They grow so fast, thats for sure. I have a wonderful boyfriend hopefully soon to be fiancee, that is great to me and our family. "We've been thru a lot baby, everything will work out, I know we have a lot to deal with in the months to come but we will make it, I promise!!! I love you with all my heart and soul, can't wait to extend out family. Hoping for a boy this time, right baby?" As you can see I am a yound mother, but I am totally devoted to my family. They are my number one. I was a lil nervous at first when we found out I was pregnant again but have became very excited the past couple days. Just dreading telling the family!! I am a hard working, faithful, and devoted mother and girlfriend. My babies are my number one!!
First Pregnancy:
I found out I was pregnant for the first time when I was 18 years old, just graduated high school. I was about 12 weeks along. I kept telling my Best friend that I was pregnant and she insisted that I wait to take a test and wait, until I couldn't wait anymore. LOL. I took the test and of coarse positive like I thought. A couple hours later I called my boyfriend (of a couple months at the time) and told him the news. He was very shocked, as was I. Our relationship was pretty stressful through out the pregnancy. We didn't know to much about each other and jumped into a very serious relationship very soon. We have been together for two years now and he stuck by my side thru the entire pregnancy. The pregnancy was very normal. Couple trips to the ER. I had tipical first pregnancy scares, every little pain, I thought something was wrong. I had pre term contractions at about 7 months. I went to the ER they monitored me for about 8 hours, gave me a couple shots of something to stop the contractions and sent me home, putting me on bed rest for 24 hours. After that, the next few months went perfect. I was scheduled for an u/s on Feb. 21st (8.5 mo. prego) to see how much the baby weighed (I am a small framed woman and the ob/gyn thought that i may not be able to pass what they thought an 8 lb. baby thru the birth canal), check fluids and mesurements. I got to the doc office and the ultrasound tech started the sonogram. Five minutes into the u/s she tells the nurse to get the doc. My OB came into the room took a quick glance at the screen, looked at Jeramie and I and said, "You guys are going to have a baby today!!." Wow, definately unexpected! She checked my cervix and it was still long and not dialated at all. She told me that an had two options. She could induce me, but i wouldn't go into active labor probably for another 3 days. She also told me that she was afraid that we didn't have that long to wait. The fluid around the baby was at a level two (normal level 10) and she was afraid the baby wouldn't survive. She told me my other option which was, a immediate c section. Of course worried about my baby's health i took the c section option. She immediatly sent to me the hospital and scheduled an emergancy cesarian, and they hooked me up to the machines to monitor the baby and if I had any contractions. About 8 hours later I was being wheeled into the operating room. My daughter was born at 7:21 pm on Feb. 21, 2007. After delivery I was sent to recovery and from there to my room, still haven't seen my newborn. I was freaking out, asking the nurses, "Where is my baby." They tried to convience me that a lot of babies where born at the same time and they still had to give her, her first bath. I knew something was wrong. Eventually, 6 hours after delivery, my daughter was brought into me. When I held her for the first time all the stress, nervousness, and being worried about pregnancy and dilvery disappeared. The world stood still the first time I held her. Three days later, Shayla and I were realesed from the hospital when my boyfriend finally tells me why Shayla wasn't brought into the room right away. He didn't want to tell me in the hospital because he knew I would flip. Come to find out, Shayla's heart raced to 200 bmp after birth, she was being monitored those 6 hours, they almost sent her to Children's Hopsital but Thank God it came down just in time. I thank god everyday for my lil miracle. I don't know where I would be today without her!!!

Shayla, now...
Shayla will be one years old on Feb. 21, 2008. Wow, I can't believe it has been that long already. My parents were right, LOL, they sure do grow up fast. She doesn't suck on a binkie or her thumb, she sucks on her bottom lip, LOL. Shayla is crawling (soon to be walking), pulling up and lettin go then fall on her butt, Mommy will lay on her tummy on the bed, Shayla will hold on to my back, stand up, let go, and body slam herself on me. LOL, it is the funniest thing ever. She mumbles, says DaDa, BaBa, Mamum, Va, Ta, and makes her own lil noise with her mouth (Rasberries, clicks her tongue, etc.). She is pointing at things when she wants something or sees something. She is so smart, it blows my mind. :) My lil Sweet Pea.
Second Pregnancy:
I am 20 years old now, and just found out I was pregnant with number two. Wow.. what a shock, again. Niether pregnancy planned. But we are very excited to extend our family. I was a couple days late on my period, I usually start the day after my best friend, Tanya. I picked her up last Saturday (Jan. 12) and told her that I still didn't start my period, so when we got back to my house she insisted that Jeramie go to Wal*Mart and get a test. LOL, He came back with the three pack so I immediately took one. It seemed to come up negative and then about a minute later showed another line which would have made the test positive. The line was so faint though none of us could tell if it was positive or negative. I waited a couple hours and took another, same thing happened. So I took both the test to Tanya's mom and asked her what she thought, she was unsure as well. She told me that I needed to get the EPT to be sure. So Tanya and I left to go to Walgreens, stopping by my house first and taking the 3rd test, same thing, faint line. We got to Walgreen bought the EPT certainty digital and went back home. As soon as I arrived home, I took one of the two test. As I waited for the results to appear, I started brushing my teeth. I looked over at the test and it said, "PREGNANT." I almost chocked on the toothpaste, LOL. I called Jeramie into the bathroom and showed him the test. He was very shocked, we didn't plan this and I didn't even think I was pregnant just a couple days late on my period (irregular periods). So the next morning I took the other test to be for sure, same thing "PREGNANT." Monday morning, Tanya and I went to the Health Dept. to make it official. I am now about 5 weeks and 5 days pregnant. Due Date: Sept. 18th, 2008. Hoping for a boy this time.
