Tuesday, August 12th

That's it, I can not take the iron pills anymore. Going a week without a bowel movement is no fun at all. The pills aren't doing me any good anyways. I have radically changed my diet to include more red meat (which for some reason during this pregnancy red meat has been a turn off for me so it might explain my anemia...) and prunes, beans, black strap molasses, etc etc. Ugh. I've never been so gassy in my life... LOL!

I have a dr's appt with my peri tomorrow and will ask her to do an actual blood draw to check my iron levels. My OB has been doing finger pricks to get my numbers and I have read online that that way of testing is not the best way to get a true idea on what my iron levels are.

I am also going to check out Floradix at the health food store tomorrow. It's a liquid iron supp and I've heard good things about it. Will consult with my peri about it before taking though, of course.

Tuesday, August 5th

Had my regular OBGYN dr. visit today. Everything was great except I am still anemic, my number even went down. I've been taking those iron pills for a month for nothing obviously. UGH! Anyways, now I have to take two a day. I am going to be completely stopped up for sure now. :(

Praying the pills and changing my diet drastically gets that number up!

Saturday, July 26th

Had my baby shower today. It went great. She's going to be the best dressed little girl ever! More clothes than she could ever wish or have need for. :)

Tuesday, July 22nd

Had my regular OBGYN visit today. Nothing much going on. Just took my weight, blood pressure, and listened to the babe's heartbeat. All is going great! Praise God! :)

Wednesday, July 16th

Had my peri visit today. All went great. She's measuring ahead and looks wonderful. We had hoped to get some great face shots, since my peri does 3d/4d scans but no way was this baby having any of that. Ugh! She was head down and looking at my spine!! We got some cute shots of her feet though. LOL!

Tuesday, July 8th

Had a great dr's visit today. Our baby girl is looking great!! Growing wonderfully. She is for sure a girlie! The sonogram was so clear. The pic he gave me wasn't as clear as the video showed... so look at the video I have linked to below if you want to see a better view. Otherwise I've added new pics to my photo album of Chloe. :)

Monday, June 9th

Had a visit with my OBGYN this morning. Nothing major, just blood pressure check - weight - urine sample given... you know the general stuff.

My next appt. is July 8th and I will get another sonogram and also do my gestational diabetes test then.

After the appt I took the kids to a little waterpark they just built at the city park one town over. It was really fun for them and the best part - FREE! Yeah!! I bet we'll be spending a lot of time there this summer. :)

My fetal fibronectin test came back negative! Woohoo! That's great news. :)

Wednesday, June 4th

Had a great visit with my Perinatologist today. Got a long detailed sonogram and everything looks wonderful with our baby girl!! Got another good look between the legs and it's a girl! I am totally believing it now and on a mission to buy a buncha pink stuff. LOL!

I had the fetal fibronectin swab done today and will get results tomorrow. If it comes back negative [saying a prayer it does] then I won't have to see the peri anymore and will just be seen by my OBGYN from here on out. :)

Friday, May 23rd

Hubby took off today. We are going shopping in a bit. We have to pick up a table/island set I bought yesterday. I've wanted it for a long time. It's really cool. It's a huge island and then a full size table pulls out from the side when you need it. It will seat up to 10 people if you buy the extra chairs, which we will do later... no need for it now.

As far as the pregnancy goes, I am feeling fine! Still tired all the time, and get out of breath if I do too much. My belly is huge and hard as a rock! My stomach is pushed so high up because of the babe and now I've been getting acid reflux, something I've never had before in my life. My peri put me on some meds for it and they are working great - thank the Lord! :)

Well that's about all for now. Hope everyone's pregnancies are doing great!!

Wednesday, May 7th

Had a great visit today with my Perinatologist. Had a really long sonogram, and got to see all the bits and pieces of our baby GIRL!! Yes, again - it's confirmed, a girl. If this baby up and grows a penis I am gonna be shocked because so far 5 different people (two doctors and 3 sonogram techs) have said it's a girlie!! She is such an active baby! Moving all about while the tech was trying to get measurements... and she has the longest fingers!! She was pointing at one point at the placenta. LOL! :) Got to see every toe on each foot... and got some pretty good profile shots too!! It was all in all a great visit. Ohh and I've only gained 3 pounds since I got pregnant!!

Monday, May 5th

Saw my OBGYN today. Nothing major, just blood pressure check, pee in a cup, and get my weight. Then he listened to the heartbeat with the doppler. Pretty boring visit, but hey - boring is fine!!! It means all is going well. :)

Thursday, May 1st

Well I am finally feeling better. I was sick all week with a cold... congestion, runny nose, coughing constantly!! I still have a bit of a cough and my voice is not back completely but praise God I am better!!! I thought I'd never get over that. It's much easier when you aren't pregnant and can take meds to ease it, you know?

My birthday is Sunday (May 4th) and I'll be 36 years old. Monday I have an appt with my OBGYN and Wed of next week an appt with my Perinatologist so I will be back with some new sono pics and updates soon!

Wednesday, April 23rd

Well they did another sonogram today. They did the anatomy scan and all looks great with our baby GIRL. Yes, the different tech and dr. both said it looks like a girl to them too. So anyways, I am still not going to go crazy buying girlie stuff just in case. I've been reading too many stories where people later find out they are having a boy. I know in my previous kiddos it was so obvious what they were, and this one we have not gotten a really perfect shot so I am gonna wait until I get my later scans like 20+ weeks and on I will trust it more. LOL! :)

Thank you Lord Jesus that all is going great with this pregnancy and that our baby has all "her" parts and they are all forming correctly. :)

Thursday, April 10th

Found out today we are having a girl...

Hope they are right. Will have another sonogram on the 23rd of April and they will check between the legs again just to make sure. :) The tech and my perinatologist both seemed pretty sure and I've watched the video many times and don't see any boy parts like I did so obviously with my boys during their sonograms. Can't wait to shop for another little girlie!!!

Got my doppler in the mail today.I just love listening to the babe's heartbeat!!! It's so reassuring that all is well! :)

Had a sonogram today and it was great! You could see the baby moving all about!!! Strong heartbeat, all looks great! Thank you Lord Jesus!!
