Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

Just thought I would check in to see how things are going and if you have given birth yet.

Zia was born on July 9 - 1 day early. I've posted her birth story - it was 2 long days!

Anyways, keep in touch after your baby is here and maybe we can meet up at one of those mommy walks later this summer! :)

Hi Shana,
I'm well (and actually my name is Eve - Ehou sounds funny :). The baby keeps me up a fair bit at night, and I'm starting to get tired. Two months and 3 days to go at the office - can't wait to get to stay home and relax. We had our first hypnobirth session on Monday - pretty interesting - very relaxing. Bought a wack of baby clothes off of some mom on craigslist, heheh, they are so cute. Do you know if you are having a boy or girl?

Hi Shana,
Things are good! We just signed up for hypnobirthing with Elaine Shea. I got convinced after seeing that Dateline video. heheh. It's private lessons, which is good in that we can schedule the session whenever, but it means meeting other couples will be tougher. There's a lot happening around Vancouver though - like new mom walking groups and such. My friend is pretty plugged into those events (she's trying to start a baby-wearing group) so if you are interested, I'd be happy to keep in touch about what I find out. Are you delivering at Women's? Who knows - may see you there!

Nope, just one in there. Im just feeling and looking like I swollowed a cantelope plus some..lol. My husband says I definitely dont look like Im 7 months, but Im looking at the pictures.. I just feel so big so quickly.. Im going to moan and whine about it because I think it may have alot to do with my hand to mouth labor..LOL!!! Congrats to you!! yeah i went to my appointment today and made a appointment for an ultrasound at my 20 week too..but about switching midwife...mine is actually a pediatrician...shes not the one thats going to deliver my baby....and i haven't met the actual doctor thats delivering my baby...im scared that she/he might be an ass.

Dont worry... i dont get my ultrasound till im 24 weeks.... which is completely bogus since the doctor hasnt done a comp. u/s or determined the accurate due date.... so im really talking a long wait...

hello! I'm not sure if i could 'dump' this doc. He isnt my primary doctor. But in the same office and if by chance that my labor happens when my doc is tied up This rude cold doctor may be the one. I'm going to talk to my primary and ask how and if i can avoid this other doc any way possible. i really like the other docs a lot here.

i get to see this RUDE doctor for the first time feb 14th. I'm keeping him and not asking for a swtch to get a better read on the guy.

no the pillow doesn't make me hot b4 I got it I waking up all the time felling hot I would crack my window a little because it cold where i am also, so after opening the window I was still unable to sleep because I couldn't get comfortable, but now I sleep wonderful window open or not...
