My name is Shannon and I am happily married to love of my life..
My husband is in the AirForce and we are currently stationed in Alaska. We have three Beautiful children. Our Daughter Ally is 12, Our two boys Andy and Aaron are 9 and 6.
After our Last child was born I had my tubes tied..and as he started growing up I started longing for one more child. We were fortunate enough to be able to have our tubes untied. I had the reversal July 29, 2006. In December of 2006 we found out we were pregnant with another child. I went and had blood work done and all seemed fine. The doctor scheduled an ultrasound for my 8 weeks. I was 7 weeks and 4 days when I awoke in the middle of the night to most severe pain I had ever felt. I was rushed to the ER and was informed that the baby had attached itself to the inside of the right tube and the tube had in fact ruptured. I had lost 2 liters of blood and needed emergency surgery, and a tranfusion. I lost my right tube of course....So after I healed we decided to try again. We were delighted to find out we were pregnant again in April. Everything was looking good until I started bleeding one night. I had my husband take me to the ER because I was worried since our prior pregnancy was so traumatic. The doctor drew blood and informed us our hcg levels had dropped by half. And that the pregnancy was in fact going to end in miscarriage. It's been a struggle but we're still here and we are still trying..I know one day soon we will be pregnant again and that this next baby will be strong and healthy...I can't wait to post it when I finally do get pregnant again.
AUGUST 8, 2008.......I got my BFP today! Oh, thank you Jesus! I'll find out monday how far along I am.....Oh, I can not believe this I am so happy, and so, so, so, Thankful to God! Will Up date later.
AUGUST 13,2008 .....Had 1st Blood draw on August 12,2008. HCG Level was 54, I am 3w and 5d today. I have another blood draw tomorrow. Will update after I recieve the results. I Guess all is well except for some slight twinges I have had on the left side. Am really hopeful to receive Great news tomorrow......Rise levels Rise...
AUGUST 14,2008......Had 2nd blood draw today, Hcg Level was 200.....Its comming up! Thank You Lord! More Blood Work tomorrow and Monday...Will Update then.
AUGUST 15,2008....Had another blood draw today HCG level was 393....Almost doubled overnight! It's comming up and I coundn't be happier. Have another draw on Monday, Will update then!
AUGUST 18,2008....Blood level this morning came back at 1400! going up, up, up.
AUGUST 20,2008.....HCG today was 3020........I'm so excited..First ultrasound on Fiday the 22nd at 2:30. I cannot wait !
AUGUST 22, 2008....Hcg Quant was 6570, No ultrasound yet, Will be going for that at 2:30 and will update after I get home, Oh lordy I'm so excited I could shout! UPDATE>......I Went for the ultrasound and all he could see was a gestational sac, He seems to think I'm not as far along as I thought I was. I thought I was 5w yesterday, But he thinks right at 4 weeks. He started laughing though, and could not believe my levels for this early. He looked at my husband and said there is a chance for multiples with these numbers. We were shocked but will take whatever God gives us. I have another ultrasound Thursday the 28th at 3:30, He thought he should be able to see more in one week.. I'll keep you posted. I still have to do my blood work monday, wednesday and friday, so they can watch those numbers. I'll Update later.
AUGUST 25,2008...HCG Quant today was 15,720.....Oh my goodness.....So Happy!
AUGUST 26,2008....Went for appointment today, to my suprise my doctor decided to do another ultrasound. This time we were able to see a gestational sac, yolk, and fetal pole. I have another ultrasound on thursday and will update then.
AUGUST 28,2008... Had another ultrasound today....We had a heartbeat at 120bpm....Thank You Lord Jesus!
SEPT 2, 2008....Had another ultrasound, The baby's heart rate was 140bpm.. And is measuring 6w4d.....To my Suprise, they found a second gestational sac today!! The doctor tells me not to get my hopes up because they could not see anything inside of it. I have been praying that they just could not get a good look at it and that the second baby is growing fine. I'm trusting God and will be happy with what ever He gives to me. I'm happy the first baby is doing great though. Please keep us in your prayers. I don't have another ultrasound until the 22nd of Sept, I can not wait, but have no choice but to be patient. I'll update after my next appointment.
SEPT 22, 2008... Had another ultrasound, We found out today that the second baby did not make it, but the first baby was doing great. The heart rate was 160, and I must say that I could not be happier. I was saddened to find out about the twin but I realize that these things just happen and I have found comfort in an almighty God. I am grateful for the healthy baby, and I thank God for this Gift. I don't go back until 16 weeks so I'll update after that appointment. I'm sorry it took so long to update after this appointment.
October 31, 2008.....I had my 16 week appointment and a quick ultrasound.. That baby was just kicking back sucking her thumb, it was so sweet. She's Beautiful , and I feel even more in love with her today. What a blessing God has bestowed on us. I have another ultrasound on noverber 30, and a 4D ultrasound scheduled for 28 weeks, I'm so excited! The doctor says the baby looks great. We could not be more thrilled!

I saw my daughter today on ultrasound, this has by far been the funniest one I have seen. Brooke had the hiccups and then she would attempt to suck her thumb but she kept punching herself in the face, and started jumping so much ( I think she was getting mad at her thumb) It was so funny

just wanted to send out a quick note....went for a fetal stress test today and they decided that they were going to induce me, so I have to call the hospital at 6AM and they will tell me what time to come in, I am scheduled for 8 but it may be alittle later depending on how their night is going. Will update one more time before I leave. Thank you guys for being there for me through all pain and hurt and now to share in my excitement, keep me in your thoughts I can not EVEN beging to tell you how scared I am ....

UPDATE ON OUR DOG:Thanks so much to everyone that commented on Pulver our dog. We had a lot of possible buyers, and or takers. However with every text or phone call that I got, Brandans heart would break a little more. He was soooo incredibly sad, I mean he seemed like a different person! So Saturday we went to his moms house after going to the block of Orange to walk around and ponder what to do. He went out back to spend time with Pulver, and his dad fallowed. About 15 minutes later his dad walked in and said “Nan, your son doesn’t want to get rid of his dog.” She says… “I know, but I don’t want to be responsible if he falls and drowns in the pool.” He says… “I don’t want to get rid of him eather.” So after a little scuffle back and forth, Brandan got what he wanted! He gets to keep Pulver.
I’m so glad that he didn’t have to go through the pain of losing him. I know what it feels like I had to give up my American Bull dog. THE BEST DOG IN THE WORLD. And to this day it’s still hard for me. If I ever found her I would snatch her from her owners! Ha ha. (Turned out that the person I GAVE her to sold her for $500.
00 to some crack head! UGH sucks)

Hi all, just to let you all know, i went into labour in the early hours of 30th october and gave birth to a beautiful baby son, he was too young to make it, he has been blessed and baptised and we will hold he`s funeral soon.....
