Hi Ladies, If you didn't already know, I gave birth on Monday, November 3rd. I had a baby boy 7lb 15oz by scheduled c-section. His name is Adam Nicholas Duran and I have posted a few pics. I have too many pics that it would take forever so here are a few.

i want to know what it really looks like too. i had the same thing today, and like 2 weeks ago but not as much today. but mine was all white, no color. =/ so idk? i told my bf and he said fo sho it was the mucus plug. so im taking it tha we both lost it! =)

shay, I just read your post on 36 weeks, it sounds to me like you're in early labour, I hope you are managing to sleep right now, but I wanted to wish you luck, doesn't sound like you'll make another 3 weeks to me! Labour dust to you x

If it makes you feel any better...here in the UK we never get checked 'down there' until we are actually in labour or late. I have no idea if I'm dilated or not and to be honest I think it's better that way. You could be dilated and not have the baby for weeks so really it doesnt tell alot. Don't worry the baby will be with you before you know it - they like to surprise you!!! Good luck

My job is the same thing. I get 12 weeks off. My dr. already filled out the form for disability cause my employer doesn't pay. I will be on disability from 10/15-01/09/09. I am having a scheduled c-section on Nov. 3rd and with sections, you get 8wks instead of 6. I am having my baby shower tomorrow (I am so excited). When are you having your shower or is it going to be a suprise? Have a good weekend.

Where do you live? In the state of California, a pregnant women is allowd to go on maternity leave 4 weeks before her due date and 6 weeks after unless you have a c-section. Then you get 8 weeks after to stay home. My job won't pay me but I get to file disability claim and although it's not much, it's some type of income that's coming in. My due date is Nov.14 but I am having baby Nov.3 and I don't get 4 weeks before Nov. 3. They base it on your actual due date so I will take maternity leave 3 wks before. Did your dr. tell you that you can take maternity leave 1 week before? If so, that sucks! I don't know how some women make it to the end. Well, keep me posted and hopefully you can take some time off before baby comes.
