Hey Sindy!!

You must've definitely figured out I had my baby...A healthy 6.9lbs baby girl =) We're sooo thrilled...It was normal without any pain relief. I was in labour and pushing for almost 90 minutes but it was a beautiful experience =) =) However, more than the labour it's the stitches that are hurting now///I got about 4-5 of those and it's cuz of these that I haven't been able to write to u/...I wanted to let u know immediately but it was just not possible...How're u doing?? I now understand it's soo much better with the baby outside me and not in my belly..We can't stop touching, kissing, hugging her...OH God! this is the most beautiful thing to ever happen to me....
I'm sure ull make it super quick urself too...Lemme know how the check-ups r coming along. Keep me updated...Try not working too hard now...It could happen ANYTIME now!

ey sweety! I think my water just burst...Tho' am not sure ... Waiting and watching for some time more...Cleaning up a bit around and will then wake up my mil to go to the hosp...Have been getting some contractions all day...I really don't wanna have the baby today tho'... for some silly stupid reasons...Anyway i'm talking like a fool right now...will go shower now...and I'll deffy let u know...Lemme know abt ur internal too..Kisses

heyy I'm soo sure we're gonna have our babies together now! 'Cuz my munchkin too seems to be very comfy inside and is showing no signs of coming out...And I don't have that bad backaches but kinda continuous Braxton Hicks and it's horrible!! Was telling my mom how I can't wait to hold the baby in my hands now...It's been a really long wait!!
Btw, did I tell u I had 2 internals done at the hospital?? They were sooo bad that I was spotting for 2 days...And my doc said it was normal!!! Jeez I'm a li'l scared of labour now...lol Good luck with ur checkup tmrw...Lemme know how it goes...

U know, it's soo good to be sharing my feelings with u...and more since we're both in it together...It makes me feel normal when come to this site 'cuz all preggy women are soo mad and it's not so bad!! lol

Heyy I was just thinking of writing to u, and here I get ur msg...U really must know what happened y'day...I woke up in the morning with this terrible cramping...Contractions were coming fast but weren't too painful...I hadn't leaked nor was there any "show". Just to be careful, I called my doc and she asked me to come over immediately for a check-up...As soon as I reached the hosp, she did an internal exam n I was just 1 cm dilated...(that was the worst examination ever!!) She hurt me soo hard that the nurses were holding my hands by my side so I don't get up to maybe beat her!!! lol
Anyway, she asked me to get admitted and that she'd keep me till evening in case I started contracting. It was soo boring...My mom, MIL, husband all sitting there waiting for me to go into labour but my naughty baby, just playing around inside, moving like crazy...Showing no signs of coming out =(
In the evening she did another intl exam..My cervix had opened up a li'l more and she said I could go into labour that night or maybe the following morning...So I had to stay at the hospital...And then my mom stayed back with me and everyone was all excited...But I had this feeling (a very strong one) that nothing was gonna happen...And nothing did...It's noon now and I got back home an hour ago. Doc did a sonography and said that baby is still high and needs to descend even more...
Now I've decided, the next time, till the water doesn't burst or till I dont get a show, I'm not telling anything to anyone. PPl in my family start to panic sooo much that it's difficult for a pregnant me to calm everyone down!!!
My doc asked me to STOP exercising..Isn't that the maddest thing? I don't work in the house and exercise is the only movement my body has and needs...and she absolutely hates it when I tell her I read up stuff on the internet...cuz that makes me smarter than her!!! lol
Guess, we might just go into labour together..Wouldn't that be wonderful having our babies on the very same day?? =)

heyy...
My baby dropped too yesterday...And I starte feeling the difference..The heartburns almost gone but now the contractions r harder n I'm getting a lot of pelvic pain too...Does that mean I'm at the end of the tunnel also??! lol I don't want to have the baby for atleast 2 weeks more =( Need to complete my Spanish (it's getting over on the 20th)!
Feel so sad abt ur hubby gettin irritated...MAybe he's got the pregnancy blues too!! lol I guess ppl work way too hard in SA...Here in India, life's pretty chilled out (atleast ours is)
I'm glad ur cold is getting better...I'm sure urbaby's waiting for u to get perfectly fine so by the time the spl one arrives, ull b hale and hearty...How is ur daughter preparing for the baby's arrival?? Does she understand what's going on?? I hope she isn't too jealous 'cuz kids her age are rather sensitive...

Heyy..You're having a tough life...and to imagine working till the end...OMG!! You girls are sooo brave...Here I'm getting everything on a platter...We live with my in-laws and they're the sweetest...I don't have to do any housework, cooking, cleaning nothing...I'm off work for a good 6 months. 3 months before and 3 months later...Ofcourse it's without a pay but atleast right now, my husband can afford that as my baby's health is the biggest priority...After my delivery, I'll be going over to my mom's house for abt 2 months or so and will come back by the time I'm used to taking care of the baby.(it's tradition here...Cool, isn't it?!)
I really hope that evil cold of urs goes away immediately so u can finally have ur little baby in ur arms...! take care..I'll be praying for you =)

Gosh any day now! How mad is that! My baby has been really quiet for a few days now, i might ring the assessment unit in a bit, im getting worried now! I cant believe how busy you still are! Im knackered all the time at 26 weeks let alone try doing everything you do at 37! And with a rotton cold!! Your made of tough stuff! Lol! Is your daughter ready for her new sibling? I bet shes excited!
Keep me posted on your progress! Take it easy! (Easy as you can!)

I thought id replied to you! Sorry hun! Wow not long now till baby gets here! Could he come anytime now? Sorry to hear you have a cold! They're bad enough when your not pregnant! Im doing good, ive got my scan on the 15th to check the size of the baby, i was measruring 4 weeks bigger at my last ante-natel visit!! Do you get your bump measured in SA? I finally sorted my pram! Still got just the one stretchmark but m sure all that will change soon! Just in case you happen to deliver your baby before i hear from you, good luck!! Bet you'll be just fine!

hey Sindy! So next week could be the big week...But you had better get rid of the cold first...You're really brave to still have the strength and guts to keep working...Don't u have something called a maternity leave in South Africa?? And will u start work as soon as u deliver?? I find working in general a really hard thing to do...and to manage it with pregnancy!!
I had my doc apptmt y'day and she said that everything's gorgeous =) and that I could go out and eat at any restaurant too..I've been eting only home cooked meals for almost 2 months now..So that's a welcome change..
I'm hoping I don't go into labour till the 21st of may...I'm studying spanish and will be completing my diploma on the 20th...Wish my baby stays put till then.. =) U take care and lemme know when ur gonna be induced...U have a nice big baby =)

hey..so good to know ur doing alrite...I'm feeling really great too..except for the heartburn..it's soo bad can hardly eat anything now...But i've been going out a lot and watching lots of movies (2 already since saturday!) making the most of my last days without responsibility!! =) Have my doc check up for tmrw...I don't think the baby has descended yet. IT's still high in my ribs...Can't wait to have it out and feel it-touch it-cuddle it and actually talk to a real living being and not a silly bloated belly!! lol

Tissue oil? We got summat called bio-oil i think it could be the same stuff? Im using it but im not gonna stress out over stretchmarks, i was never gonna be a bikini model anyway! Ha ha!
Hope it all goes well for your husband! The law's an ass some times! You dont need all this so close to having your baby!
Is your daughter getting really excited now?
Im okay, babys doing fine, i had to have a scan last week coz the baby wasnt moving much for bout 5 days; everything was fine tho, think baby had just moved to a position where i wasnt feelin it so well! I also had the worst toothache over the weekend, i had to see the emergency dentist! I need a root canal! Lovely! I got a temp one they're debating whether to do a permanent one coz of the x-rays involved!
I cant believe your so close to having your baby! It must be amazing! Tiring but amazing! Im 25 weeks tomorrow does it go quick from there?
Aww its good that you got some nice baby clothes off your in-laws, my in-laws have awful taste in clothes he he, but im grateful for whatever anyone buys the baby.
Glad to hear your doing ok, all things considered!

hey..is the baby shower done?? Put up some pictures if possible...My fluids aren't exactly normal but there's nothing to worry abt now...Have a check up tomo and will ask my doc if it's ok to start exercising...I've just been in bed for soo many weeks and my body's feeling like a 65 yr old..I too get tired soo easily but all my family's around me and they fuss about and pamper me so sometimes I don't understand myself if im really tired or just wanting some fussing!! lol
Wow I really hope the breasts go back to normal 'cuz if they don't I'm never gonna b able to fit into any of my old clothes...
As for baby shopping, my in-laws have bought some stuff..but nothing compared to the baby showers u have there...There's a religious function coming up this friday when 5 married women will come home and gimme gifts (but it's nothing great 'cuz it's all gonna b for me and clothes or cash) the last time I get pampered..An indian version of a mommy 2 b shower lol!! I'll put up pictures for sure...You too update ur profile..Wanna see how ur doing now??
