Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Sx

Oh I can totally relate to these random comments people love to throw at you. I constantly get the "Are you sure there isnt two in there?' thing, it has actually given me a complex and made me slightly worried about it all. I now obsessively compare myself to other pregnant women, its driving me crazy. I would love to just say something right back like 'Well at least I have a reason for being big' ha ha that would put them in their place. Good Luck x

Well, I was glad the servers at Tony Roma's recognized "my condition" on Mother's Day. My free dessert was delicious. And where's your husband in all of this? Apparently not confronting lewd comments from HIS family!
I would try to take the twins comment as them not seeing you for a while. The diff between your svelt old figure and this one wasn't gradual for them, so it's quite a shock! Or you could just slap them all. Which IS probably closer to how I would've handled it... :-)

I was reading your comment on the weeks page and laughed about it. People can be so rude! We live in Hawaii and our families live in Illinois and I was on the web cam with them one day and my totally ignorant sister, who is 7 years older than me, said wow....you sure are fat! And then proceeded to tell me that my pants were too tight, which they weren't. So I looked at her and said, yeah well the sad thing is that I am almost seven months pregnant and still smaller than you and then just ended the call. I mean no one should say anything like that to someone, but family...come on now! Needless to say when I talk to my parents and she walks in and asks me to stand up to see my belly I tell her no and it really upsets her.....but it still doens't keep her from saying things, so we just don't talk much.

Anyways.....best of luck with the pregnancy and tell everyone to keep their moronic comments to themselves :)

Hey! Seen your commment and thats mean of them!! Who cares what you have! I have no idea what we are having and I have twin girls now, so everyone THINKS im having a boy. I said "if this baby comes out a girl, you are all gonna be shocked!" :)
Oh, and you ARE A MOM, your taking care of a baby RIGHT now!!!!!! ;)
Congrats on your pregnancy!

Orthostatic hypotension. Pregnancy causes it and I get it worse being on Blood Pressure medicine. Its basically where your blood rushes to your feet from jumping up to quickly. It really sucks just try to be careful so you dont pass out!! Hope this helps!

Thanks for the response! I just signed up today for my birthing classes. Mine start May 27th for 5 weeks so that should be enough time. You'll have to let me know how you like them :)

We aren't finding out the sex either; I know it seems like everyone is so focussed on that but what a wonderful feeling when they say at the birth 'its a boy' or 'its a girl'. BElieve me you won't be disappointed!
