I am Active Duty Air Force
I work as a Weather Forecaster in England right now
I have one daughter already, she's 4.
I'm married to an Active Duty Air Force Security Forces individual
Our 5 year wedding anniversary was this July

3/10- Just got back from a weekend in Paris, it was amazing, let myself have a glass of wine with dinner both nights and I had a cappucino and frappucino saturday but I'm not worried. I had loads of caffeine throughout my last pregnancy and she turned out just great! So this one will be fine as well. And as much as this one has been kicking lately I think he liked it!
I'm getting my ultrasound next week since hubby might be leaving before the other one was scheduled so I'm thrilled about that, so I should know next week!! If not I guess I'll just have to pay for a 3d one, but I'm not too concerned, baby has been kicking so don't think he's very shy! Oh yeah and I believe in power of positive thinking, hence I call him a he, while my hubby tries to make me say it, but I refuse!

03/17- Working the night shift this week, as the hubby gets ready to deploy, who thinks of this shit really! Nothing like letting a pregnant woman spend nightime with her husband when he's about to leave for 6 months, that's just crazy talk! Damn Idiots all of them!
On a plus side I have my ultrasound this week so we should hopefully be able to tell what we are having!! That makes me happy, and anxious, I really want a boy sometimes but others I'm ok with a girl, either way as long as it's healthy then it doesn't really matter too much to me in the long run.
We've already got the crib so that can be put up tomorrow so I don't have to worry about messing it up while the hubby is gone, that's what guys are for right, mowing the lawn, putting things together and making babies!! :-)

03/18- I am so hating my boss right now, I mean who seriously puts a woman on the night shift when her hubby is leaving for 6 mths that week, come on! And then has the audacity to pick apart little things that are done wrong when no information is done on how to do them, it's called taking some responsibility try it sometime! So hubby is leaving in like 26 hrs and I'll be at work for about 12 of them, sleeping for like 8 of the other ones and get to spend about 6 hrs with him, part of which he'll be putting together the crib for me so I won't have to do it later on. I feel justified in being cranky but I don't think others get it...idiots!

03/19- It's a boy!!! I'm so excited the technician said we are having a boy, 95% sure as they can never be 100% ya know but still I was so excited to hear that!! Yeah now I can finish my baby registry, woo hoo!!! This almost makes up for the fact hubby is gone now, almost...

August 24th~ Have to head back to work on tuesday and I don't want to!! Not because I can't leave my baby, that's never really bothered me too much, but because hubby is not home and this is just going to be one hell of a month before he gets home and I don't want to have to deal with it. Too bad I can't call in sick for the next month right!!!

August 27th~ Well had to be in the hospital for a few days so my milk supply has gone down so that sucks so now I gotta work on that one, and my lil man started smiling yesterday! He's getting so big aww!! But I don't have to go back to work just yet either so that's pretty decent too! But off to pump and nap, yea!

Hey hun, thank you for replying. The last thing I wanna do is EVER be on magnesium sulfate... that is one nasty drug! My boyfriend's mom (who is a nurse) has been more concerned than my doctors have been, and she said it's so dangerous because all of a sudden WOOSH, you can be sick... it's not always a gradual thing. It sounds awful what you went through -- labor is tough enough without feeling like you're going to vomit, or your heart is going to leap out through your chest and fly around the room. My dad used to be a licensed EMT, so he's been checking my blood pressure at home the past few weeks to make sure that if something goes awry, we know about it as soon as possible. I try to relax as much as I can, but there are things I NEED and WANT to do so I can't always be laying in bed. It's just frustrating because I feel like something is wrong but it's a game of "sit around and wait for it to get worse." Did you handle the magnesium sulfate fairly well, or was it really bad for you too?

I am totally like that too. I bring my son to work with me and I have a set of everything there just in case. I also have a lot of extras that stay in my car, you never know when you might need something :-). It could be super easy for you, you never know. Just as long as you're prepared for the possibility that it could be difficult you will do great!

Mainly I think it's a crazy slap to the face when a spouse cheats on their counterpart while deployed. I mean he is out supporting his family and usually lonely and pretty miserable and they possibly invite someone else into their bed. I was deployed twice so I know how much it sucks just being out there...eh given I was single at the time, but it still sucked LOL.

I'm a little lucky the hairstyle in my pic at 23 weeks. seems to work for my slightly round face. I am not looking forward to see if it grows by the time 9 months hit however haha. Wait is your husband named Bobby as well LMAO!! I just noticed that.

When your milk comes in, if you are anything like me, you will have plenty! Once your milk is in and your breasts are engorged pump after each feed for 10-15 minutes or until your breasts seem empty. Eventually you should be able to get away with only pumping once or twice a day to help get you a head start with the milk that you'll need. I do know Mom's that haven't had a huge supply beforehand and successfully pumped at work and got enough to satisfy their baby. Your body will make all that your baby needs. If you have any questions or need any support feel free to message me on my page!

LOL they still do that with the mail haha. It used to be human error but i'm glad they have a machine now. It was hard fixing other people's mistakes all the time. :-(

I'm doing great I'm ready to hit 30 weeks so I can just count down from there LOL. I'm so ready to have this baby its not funny. Maybe I'll stop dreaming off the wall stuff haha.

Oliver is a midwife, she is knowledgable, but you can tell she doesn't have kids. She is just a little, I guess cold is the best way to put it, but she knows she job. As for breast feeding, we will see how I do! I am hoping 6 weeks to get established will help when I go back to work... Got to run, ttyl

You know, I have been seeing all that pink stuff for a few years and always thought that if I had another and it ended up being a girl I would get everything pink that I possibly could, and now I have just ended up looking at items with primary colors. In fact, I've already picked out the stroller system, pack and play, and highchair and they are neutral! (grayish brown and orange) It's weird to me that I'm not going ga-ga over some of the pink, but I think about how my son would feel at the zoo pushing it around. He's the one who actually spotted the one set first! Trevor is only interested, though, as long as it's going to be a boy! I think that if I end up with a girl, he'll be fine, but he's just a bit unsure I think of what to do! He ended up kind of babysitting for the first time Friday night. His best friend has 2 little sisters and we kept them while his friend's mom (my best friend) took him to his soccer game and his dad had to take his grandmother to the er for a dislocated hip. Anyway, the girls are 3 and almost 6. He loves them and loves spending time with them, but he pointed out that they don't live with him! I think he was ready to scream, though, Friday night by the time they left! The little one especially is a handful!!

Yea, filled out the CDC stuff back in December, called them the morning after she was born. Am on the list for East on our base and Mildenhall's, and for both I am now in the top 10, they didn't have exact numbers, they said worse off I won't get in till end of July, so only a month after I have to go back to work. Hubby and I can make it work for a month, so really happy! Just got up from a nap, and need need need a shower, milk came in while I was sleeping! Will talk to you later,

Yeah My husband hated England too while I loved it go figure LOL. Nooo don't go postal haha. It looks easy and its mentally quite simple but its physically demanding trust me you just want to volunteer some time at the post office during the holidays to see the real volume of stuff you have to do everyday but not go postal. I did it for 4 1/2 years unless you are only going to do the parcel pick up window you may like it. Everything else is a serious killer!! LOL Words of wisdom or warning haha. You are guaranteed overseas but that's the only reason I'd tell anyone to do it haha.

My sister-in-law and brother went ahead and registered as soon as they found out they were having a girl!! They also ended up going ahead and getting all their furniture and the stroller they wanted at that time. She was about 30 weeks when I threw the shower for her. I'll probably end up running to the store as soon as I find out what I'm having!! My son wants to do the scanning, which I'm pleased that he wants to be involved in any way he chooses. He's still not quite sure sometimes what to think about me being pregnant! How does your daughter feel about it? Will your husband be back for the birth?

carlaz08 - Thursday, 8 May
ahhhhhhh i just read your comment you left for me...came to your page to respond, and noticed your due date is aug 1st...NOOOO!!! cant you hold him for 5 days longer? (my bday is aug 6th!!! LMAO) this is weird...my babys is gonna be born 5 days before your daughters bday, and your baby is due 5 days before bday...now THAT is crazy! sorry, i done forgot what i was gonna say after seeing when your due date is!! my babys dad lives in texas (we live together...not married...YET) i had to come back to the east coast to tie up some family issues and get some personal stuff taken care of...ill be going back sometime right after the first month after the baby is born...(hes a first time dad, so hes had his share of being freaked out and scared really bad...i think hes starting to relax a bit...hes not so easily aggrivated, or irritated...sometimes i was wondering if he wasnt the one pregnant with all the mood swings he was having there for awhile LOL)

Jadedpoet - Thursday, 8 May
LMAO!! that's a great shot though!!

Jadedpoet - Thursday, 8 May
Oh no I used to be in the Af and used to be stationed at Lakenheath a couple of years back. Its where I met my husband who's still in but cross training in Texas LOL. I just really liked it there. I was postal it's a special duty I volunteered for it to get sent overseas LOL. My primary career field was information management. (I hate sitting behind a desk haha)

MilMom2Be - Wednesday, 7 May
I'm extra lucky I guess, as I am in a small, self regulated shop and my flight chief is a single dad. Makes him really great about making allowances for our special needs. When hubby was gone, they were constantly asking what shift I wanted to be on, what worked best for me, i chose mids until he got back, then when I found out hubby would be going to day shift I talked to them and they put me on days with him. If we have trouble getting into the CDC, I have alread yasked about goignt o mids again so hubby and I can trade off on baby duty until a spot opens up. Like I said, I'm really lucky tho, if I were still working the flight line I'd be screwed...

MeganAshley - Wednesday, 7 May
