I am Active Duty Air Force
I work as a Weather Forecaster in England right now
I have one daughter already, she's 4.
I'm married to an Active Duty Air Force Security Forces individual
Our 5 year wedding anniversary was this July

3/10- Just got back from a weekend in Paris, it was amazing, let myself have a glass of wine with dinner both nights and I had a cappucino and frappucino saturday but I'm not worried. I had loads of caffeine throughout my last pregnancy and she turned out just great! So this one will be fine as well. And as much as this one has been kicking lately I think he liked it!
I'm getting my ultrasound next week since hubby might be leaving before the other one was scheduled so I'm thrilled about that, so I should know next week!! If not I guess I'll just have to pay for a 3d one, but I'm not too concerned, baby has been kicking so don't think he's very shy! Oh yeah and I believe in power of positive thinking, hence I call him a he, while my hubby tries to make me say it, but I refuse!

03/17- Working the night shift this week, as the hubby gets ready to deploy, who thinks of this shit really! Nothing like letting a pregnant woman spend nightime with her husband when he's about to leave for 6 months, that's just crazy talk! Damn Idiots all of them!
On a plus side I have my ultrasound this week so we should hopefully be able to tell what we are having!! That makes me happy, and anxious, I really want a boy sometimes but others I'm ok with a girl, either way as long as it's healthy then it doesn't really matter too much to me in the long run.
We've already got the crib so that can be put up tomorrow so I don't have to worry about messing it up while the hubby is gone, that's what guys are for right, mowing the lawn, putting things together and making babies!! :-)

03/18- I am so hating my boss right now, I mean who seriously puts a woman on the night shift when her hubby is leaving for 6 mths that week, come on! And then has the audacity to pick apart little things that are done wrong when no information is done on how to do them, it's called taking some responsibility try it sometime! So hubby is leaving in like 26 hrs and I'll be at work for about 12 of them, sleeping for like 8 of the other ones and get to spend about 6 hrs with him, part of which he'll be putting together the crib for me so I won't have to do it later on. I feel justified in being cranky but I don't think others get it...idiots!

03/19- It's a boy!!! I'm so excited the technician said we are having a boy, 95% sure as they can never be 100% ya know but still I was so excited to hear that!! Yeah now I can finish my baby registry, woo hoo!!! This almost makes up for the fact hubby is gone now, almost...

August 24th~ Have to head back to work on tuesday and I don't want to!! Not because I can't leave my baby, that's never really bothered me too much, but because hubby is not home and this is just going to be one hell of a month before he gets home and I don't want to have to deal with it. Too bad I can't call in sick for the next month right!!!

August 27th~ Well had to be in the hospital for a few days so my milk supply has gone down so that sucks so now I gotta work on that one, and my lil man started smiling yesterday! He's getting so big aww!! But I don't have to go back to work just yet either so that's pretty decent too! But off to pump and nap, yea!

I know! I'll admit that I have already been to Babies-R-Us 2 times and have quite the wish list going that will eventually go on my registry!! I dragged my son with me the first time and my husband the second!! Hubby gets annoyed that I want to look at things so early, but I remind him that it will be here before we know it!

That's a great idea but her family is pretty much all here and I'm really not the blog type.

Thanks for the neat game idea for my baby shower! It's very original! Good luck with your baby boo!

Actually my supervisors are great, and if i pushed I am sure they would cut me back, but I am really hoping tomorrow is my last day at work, so I will save my brownie points for when I come back to work! Lol, he has a heated indoor pool in there, of course he is doing laps! And yes, it was her, with her "umm, yeah" answers... Drives hubby nuts! Evil woman has boney fingers too... Lol, makes an uncomfortable experience even worse! How is your hubby doing? How are you holding up? Is this the first time he has left since you had you daughter? Does she handle the deployments well? I hope your work is still accomodating your "single parent" schedule... I can't imagine going thru this pregnancy not only w/o hubby but with another child to look after as well.. I salute you!

Well, I'm only 9 1/2 weeks right now, so I've got a LONG wait!! I think your shower will be lovely - it sounds like fun! Be sure and let me know how it goes!!!!

Everyone keeps saying enjoy this time, but it is hard to do when I am still working full time and am so uncomfortable and sleep deprived as I cannot sleep any more, my hips are killing me! and my back, feet, ect... LOL! And not LeClaire, I like him actually, cocky, but I find him reassuring... It was a NP actually and I am still miffed about her... She ignored my request for shorter hours yesterday, and I am a week over-due! Too fat and tired to be waddling into work, oh well, sorry for the pity party, just ulgh today. How are you doing? Is your little boy kicking up a storm?

I did a tea party baby shower once for a friend of mine - it was a huge hit!! My shower will mainly be about the food and the presents. What we'll end up doing is a huge one at my church. My mom and in-laws and I all go to the same church, so between the three families (my dad doesn't go to church) we pretty much know everyone in the church. Especially my in-laws, they have been there over 30 years!!

cks - Tuesday, 6 May
Thanks!! I'm sure the shower will be awesome. My mom does not generally "act out" in public - especially in front of our church friends, so I am not worried about how she would act at the shower - just how she treats me before and after!!! I get sick of it, but she is still my mom and she is a good grandmother, so I can't cut her out of my life completely!!

Thanks for the encouragement!! It's not so much that I feel guilty, I just wondered what the truly proper thing was - you know, could my mom have been right for once? I talked to my aunt and my friend who want to throw me the shower and they both flipped out at my mom saying I shouldn't expect anything. My friend told me to go hog-wild at Babies-R-Us and put down every little thing I could ever possibly want!!

MILMOM2BE - Friday, 2 May
Shipping is such a pain over here, I ended up getting thing at feltwell that weren't quite what I had wanted in order to just get the things I needed~ No one will ship a travel system from the states! Oh well, actually really like the one from feltwell... But that's awesome that you're getting the car seat you want! I read an excerp from that book, and I could see my hubby actually enjoying reading it! But a lil late in the game for me, huh? 4 Day weekend 4 me! Yay, bet baby shows up to spoil it! I'm crossing my fingers!

Armywifeyandmommy1 - Friday, 2 May
I sure did, I love that crib, my friend actually picked it out for me =]

hey how r u

MILMOM2BE - Thursday, 1 May
Well, not on shorter shifts, but I have an appt on tuesday that iff I have not had her by then I will get scheduled for an induction, yay! But the doc seems to think i will not have her this weekend as my cervix is still closed and thick, but there is an end in sight so I can live with it! Also, lil girl is estimated to weight over 8 lbs already, so she takes after her daddy! This might sound odd, but it is easier to be the meanie with my own mother, as we have been butting heads for the past decade~ with my mil, I don't know, she is uncharted territory... But thanks for the advice. How are you feeling these days? Sleepless yet? Are you finally to the point where you LOOK pregnant, or do ppl still give you the double take like they aren't sure whether it's ok to say something or not? Lol, I am bored n chatty today so will let you off the hook, Have a Good Day!
