This is TMI, but he does have an awful lot of gas since this started, which is why I'm leaning towards that being the problem. Certain positions he lays in makes it worse. I talked him into sleeping in our recliner, so that he wouldn't be laying flat. That has seemed to help. I've been researching a bunch of different things this morning trying to get answers, but he'll probably want me to take him to get checked out today still (which is the best idea.) Thanks again for your help and advice! (He just better be all better by the time I go into labor!!!)

Just curious...what does SPD stand for? (I've always teased my husband for acting like his pains are SO much worse than mine. It's good to know he's not the only man driving his wife crazy about these things! LOL!)

I researched appendicitis last night when the problem first started, and he doesn't seem to be showing any signs of that. He's taken a medicine for acid reflux and indigestion with a pain killer, and he seems to be doing better. I've had severe cramping in the past from indigestion, and it can hurt awfully bad. I pray that's all it is, but he'll still act like it's the worst thing ever. lol! I'm kind of wondering if it's food poisoning though. With all this talk of salmonella in the news lately, I guess we never know. Thanks for your help!

Oh, did you take the Expecta back to the store? I can't imagine they wouldn't let you grab a full box, since the box isn't sealed by the manufacturer. If they won't, I'd call Bristol-Myers-Squibb customer service. Today, John's going to the store to get my next Expecta box. There's always a 2 dollar coupon in there--he just opens the box and gets it out before going to the cash register. After what happened to you, we have a second reason to open the box!
