Make an ovulation ticker

Husband & I were High School sweethearts and started dating in August of 1984. He had just finished his first year of college and I just finished my Sophomore year in high school. We dated until Spring of 1990. We always kept in touch over the years (lunch, movies, drinks, etc...) and started exclusively dating again in November of 2003. He proposed while we were vacationing at the family condo in Florida in September of 2004. We were married in October of 2005 and spent our honeymoon in the Bahamas (for 10 days) and Philadelphia (for 4 days). We bought our house and moved out of the condo in November of 2005. We had to paint, rip out old (shag) carpets and clean every nook and cranny so we decided I would stay on the pill until that was all done. I finally came of birth control pills in December of 2005 after being on them for 20+ years (due to irregular cycles) and we have been trying since January of 2006. Started fertility testing in January of 2007. Everything with both of us good. We fall into the percentile of "unexplained" infertility.

July 7th: Hubby and I have been talking and I have moved back into the house with him. We have been talking and so far so good. July 22nd: I don't think things are really working out. It's seems like it's pretty much over. We were supposed to go away from August 2 thru the 9th and then have our final embryo transfer (the one we had frozen) in September. I know that's not happening. We barely speak to one another anymore and when we do, he says mean, hateful things that hurt me. Good luck and ~*~babydust~*~ to all TTC...

July 30th: Okay...so I spent almost 11 hours in the emergency room on Saturday afternoon/night. I was having severe pains on my right side and thought it was my appendix (since it runs in my family). Turns out I had a complex cyst rupture. OUCH !!! My husband was with me and very supportive through it all. I think we may be on our way back to one another. He said he loves me and wants to work things out. I have no reason not to believe him. He also wants me to go on the vacation we planned together next week in hopes that we will bond and find our way back. Oh and I have been spotting for the last few days. AF is no due until August 7 or so. I think it may have something to do with the cyst. Anyway, we are leaving Saturday morning so I will update more once I get back. July 31st: AF started today. She came on with full force. Hopefully she'll slow down some before we leave for vacation on Saturday. Nothing worse than a visit from her while away. I will update more once I get back. Anyway...good luck and ~*~babydust~*~ to all TTC...

August 27th: Sorry I haven't been on in a while. Hubby and I are still working things out however TTC has been put on hold until further notice. We have one frozen embryo that I want to use so there are no regrets or questions of what if but this is not the right time. I think it will bring us closer and he feels it will push us further apart. And who knows, maybe God will work his magic and we will concieve the "old fashion way"? Wouldn't that be a nice surprise? September 18th: Okay, I haven't updated in a while so here goes - Hubby and I are doing good. We still have a lot to work out but things are much better. Neither one of us has been sleeping well so we decided to turn in early last night. So we went to bed at 10PM and were up by 1AM. I have been peeing faithfully every half hour to hour since then. I think I actually fell asleep again from about 4AM to 6AM and have been up since. Hubby's been up since 1AM and dozed a couple time for about 15 minutes a clip. It's crazy. We are hoping to use our only frozen embryo (for transfer) in November. I will be 40 in 8 days so that will be our very last hope. I am praying that I get my BFP in December with a due date in July. If not, we will start thinking about other options (egg doner, adoption, etc...). I want to thank everyone for all your thoughts and prayers during my difficult time. September 22nd: I think AF started yesterday morning after we BD's. I went to the bathroom and noticed some blood. I don't have cramps or anything but I've been bleeding very lightly and clotting every once in while. Not sure what's going on. AF wasn't due until Friday (which happens to be my 40th birthday). Anyway...I'm just taking it day by day. Good luck and ~*~babydust~*~ to all TTC...

October 1st: Here's my story: AF was due on 9/25 or so but showed up on 9/21. My cycle before that was 8/27, the one before that was 8/2 and the one before that one was 7/5. This makes my average cycle 25 days which means my ovulation time would be between day 9 (Sept 29) and 12 (Oct 2) or 13 (oct 3). So AF left on 9/25 and hubby had special plans for my birthday (weekend) on 9/26. We BD on 9/28 and again on 9/30. This morning my hubby wanted me to start using an OPK but I think it may be too late as I should be ovulating in the next day or two. Last night I had a tingling sensation down there so I'm hoping it was ovulation symptoms. We really want to get pregnant and don't want to go thru anymore fertility cycles (even though we will use the frozen embryo if we are not pregnant by November). I hope this is a sign of good things to come. We've been trying for so long (2 years and 10 months) and really want to be parents. We even have a names picked out if it's a girl (Danica Lillian or Dehne Elizabeth) but not for a boy. I think we are both praying for some pink news when we finally get our BFP. October 6th: Hubby and I baby danced on 9/28, 9/30, 10/1, 10/3, 10/4 and 10/5 so far this cycle (that would be cycle day 8, 10, 11, 13, 14 & 15). AF is due on 10/16 so I think we have it pretty much covered this month. I have to call the fertility specialist on day 1 of my October cycle so please pray AF doesn't show up this month. October 9th: Hubby and I baby danced again on 10/7 (cycle day 17) in case I have one of my usual cycles. They used to be 28-32 days until about 4 months ago when AF started showing up every 25-26 days. This is our last chance of trying "the old fashioned way" as I will be calling the fertility center on day 1 of this cycle for our final IVF transfer. We have one frozen embryo we are going to use if we don't get a BFP next week. Today is cycle day 19 and I woke up with a slight headache but it went away while I was taking a shower. Other than mild headaches (which I think may be sinus related), I haven't had any symptoms so I'm thinking that 8 dpo is to early to feel anything even if I am pregnant. October 10th: Hubby and I baby danced again last night (cycle day 19). This was mostly for fun but just in case AF wants to take her time this month we have it covered. I'm not expecting a BFP since the chances of us conceiving naturally are only about 3% but hey, you never know, right? I pray everyday for a miracle. Good luck and ~*~babydust~*~ to all TTC...

October 13th: Hubby and I baby danced one more time yesterday. We are going to a special Mass this evening at church. It's a blessing of those trying to conceive.
