So here is a bit about me... I am currently 21 years old and in college to get a second diploma. I have graduated from the early childhood education course and am currently taking the child and youth worker course, which will be completed long before the baby is due. I got married August 18th 2007. We both are excited that i am pregnant!

August- bought a doppler to use at home. heartbeat seems to be around the 160 mark. it was 173 at my ultrasound at 11 weeks.

hi there congrats on the BFP!! I had my last af around the same time as you mine was the 7th have tested a few times have had two faint positives but im thinking they where both evap now..Do you think it might be too early? your hcg are only 16 and the tests usely pick up 20 plus?? anyway i have all the symtoms, am trying to hold of as ive already spent so much on tests its not funny, and it sucks top get those BFNS! Should i test again in the next few days??

HEY, just saw your post about having to wait for a blood test. What you could do while you wait is take another HPT in 3-4 days to check that the line is still there or getting darker. My BFP was faint on sunday so I'm going to do another one tomorrow to see if it's changing! In the UK they don't do blood tests to confirm pregnancy for most people so it's all I've got for now!!! good luck! xx

Congrats on the pregnancy....you're right with me! I had the same trouble w/due date calculators, so I just picked one b/c I figured as soon as I'd go see the dtr I'd get my due date. My date's said anywhere between Feb 14-19...but I know that the dtr will go by the size of the baby on the ultrasound! GL!

hey there I was just reading ur blog and I know the feeling im the same way I tried for almost 2 years and I didnt even know I was pregnant then had a miscarriage on Mothers day this year it was awful like I felt like I was I just wanted to wait and be sure when I take a pregnancy test because I have seeen soo many negatives!.....I feel the same way on this site wishing it was me with a belly and a baby and going out and seein everyone pregnant its awful! I seen a little girl all dressed cute in her little car seat stoller thing and I cried! I will not give up and when I do I know I will have tried everything I could to concieve! Oh and I am in Ontario Canada myself in Kitchener!

I was just reading the blog you posted about the drug addicts having babies, etc. I just wanted to say thank you for saying something. My husband and I lost our first at about 7weeks and I am trying hard to stay positive but find myself being jealous of everyone with a baby bump! Especially those that just don't seem to want it as badly as some of us (or seem as deserving sometimes-ouch that is harsh -huh- sorry) Well, I just want to say I am sorry for your loss and also to wish you a bunch of baby dust, you seem deserving and I wish that a bunch of deserving people would have babies without struggling so hard.
