I have a 10 year old daughter who was born in a pool of water in my living room in Kauai, HI. I now live in Austin, TX with my new husband of 1 year, and we are expecting in October.
I plan to have another water birth at home with my family and a midwife. I really can't imagine rushing off to a hospital, I have always felt creepy in them. My husband is looking forward to taking an active role in the delivery and "catching" the baby.
I just watched "The Business of Being Born" by Ricki Lake. I loved it, and I highly recommend it for anyone making a decision about how and where to have your baby!!!

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

I live in North Carolina and it gets pretty hot and humid here. I've made it through the summer without overheating and now it's been in the 70s all week and I'm sweating to death.These hormones are crazy.Now this morning I'm sitting here freezing.

Hiya saw your post about braxton hicks contractions ive also been getting them for a while now lots everyday sometimes quite painfull but only last about 15 seconds at a time. I was told also normal as its my second baby more prone to them. Hope your pregnancy going ok apart from that Debbie x
