It's April now...getting closer, though September seems forever away!! I am almost 17 weeks, and I swear I've felt the baby move - it was different than gas or indigestion. But it sucks not being 100% sure!

My next appointment is on the 10th but I'm not going to get to find out the sex then. I'm getting impatient! I'm ready to pick out names and start shopping! I'm tired of referring to the baby as "the baby" !! ha ha

Tom is getting more and more excited, which of course I am glad! He has been rubbing my belly and touching it. It is growing! I am really showing! People can tell I am pregnant which makes me happy. So now I don't just look fat! My belly has been itching so much but everyone tells me to not scratch! I swear I use cocoa butter lotion everyday, but yikes! I can't get my belly and boobs to quit itching!! It's hard to concentrate at work still (not as much as it was when I first found out I was pregnant!) but I am getting bored...I've looked at every single pregnancy website there is. Sigh. I am trying to take it one day at a time. But I just can't wait til the baby is here! I can't wait to see what he/she looks like! I can't wait to hold him/her!!

hi thanks for the comment...I think I was just having one of those days where I felt sorry for my self and felt so big.....But I'm going away next week to San Antonio Texas sooo I feel happy I'm going to be getting some Sun and relaxation...before I'm too big!!! thanks again..:)

I understand about the drive. Getting to NRH from Lewisville wasn't too bad but coming home yuk!! I'm so glad I'm doing something from home where I can work around traffic and is flexible, makes it so nice.

Drive safe to Enid, I know it is always nice when you get to go home. Looks like all of the bad stuff passed, my dad said there were quite a few tornados last night but the rest of the week and weekend was going to be nice, so you can enjoy a beautiful weekend. Have a good time and oh yeah, Happy First Mother's Day! :)

This cracks me up! Do you have a name for your little girl yet? Are your parents coming down from Enid? You are right about not living too far from home. I actually lived in Arlington twice. Once after college, I lived with my aunt and uncle in Knotted Oaks off of Green Oaks Blvd and 360 and then with them before I got married but it was at Fielder and I-30 in thier rental house. It wasn't bad because I worked in North Richland Hills. It was quite a change when they moved and I moved into an apartment in Coppell. My husband worked at 635 and Luna so we wanted to live halfway between our offices. They moved him to the east office at 635 and 75 so I'm really glad we ended up in southwest Lewisville.

For me Sydney would be hard for me to pronounce and I would have to say the name slowly to get it lol.
Im naming my lil girl Emma-Lee cuz I like both emma and emily lol. I know this day is soooo slow isnt it! like i feel liek the hours are flying by then i look at the clock and its only 20 mins passed the previous time i looked lol

It is nice to have another Oklahoman to talk to and understand some of the things I talk about like Those Terrible Twisters. :)
My DH is from Texas and he makes fun of me for being an Okie. My dad was so upset that I had Madelyn in Texas, he isn't making a big deal about Jenna. I left right after I graduated from UCO because of the same thing more opportunities. I never really wanted to stay in Oklahoma. It is my home but sometimes when I visit and see people I went to high school and college with, it makes me glad I left. There is just so much more to see out there. I have a friend from high school who never left Yukon and was mad at me for leaving. I was like, you can leave too.

I lived in Houston for 5 years and I met Jon while we were working for the same company. I loved Houston but I also really like Dallas so it wasn't too hard to make the move. It makes it easier to go home and see family.

When you moved down here how many times did people ask you if you were from Muskogee? I got so sick of that, I was like ha ha, haven't heard that before. No, I'm from Yukon, suburb of OKC.

I'm having another little girl. I will have two fighting over daddy. I like storms too but not Madelyn she is terrified of thunder. It is funny that she is like that because my dream vacation is tornado chasing. I'm from Oklahoma so I'm used to severe weather. We have a friend from California who was freaking out during a thunderstorm and it wasn't even severe, she wanted to hide in a closet because of tornados. I was like this isn't even bad, don't worry about it. You may get to see more storms this evening, we're under a tornado watch.

lol, Im excited because I have a 3 yr old boy and a 1 yr old boy and this is my last baby so I wanted a lil princess so bad! I had the biggest feeling it was going to be a boy because of how bad I wanted it to be a girl lol

Yeah it was really neat to see my baby boy. I knew deep down that I was having a boy. I would have liked a girl but I didn`t care what I was having just that the baby was healthy. I could not control myself. As soon as I saw him and they had this really nice music playing in the background I started to cry. My husband said that he almost cried but my dad and mom where in the room and he wouldn`t cry in front of them. I hope all goes well for you. I am sure it will. Are you finding out. If so let me know how everything is and what you are having :)

Over all this pregnancy isn't too bad. I also have a little girl who will be 3 in July. So she's keeping me very busy! Based on the last 2 u/s I've had, this one is supposed to be a boy! Either way I'm happy to be having a 2nd baby, my daughter definitely needs the companionship. But after this I'm done! Both pregnancies have taken their toll on me, I'm not one of those women who loves being pregnant. I can't wait for it to be over and just want a healthy baby in my arms! I think that being older (36) has a lot to do with it! Either way it's an exciting time and you definitely forget all the pains and aches once it's over.

Thanks for your advice. I'll try eating smaller meals, but it's really hard for me when I'm at work, especially in the mornings when I just sit there and nibble and after I feel like a beached whale. On the weekends I'm more on the go, and so am too busy to eat large meals (so definitely feel better then!). BUt I'll have to try during the week too.
