My name is Stefanie and am very excited about this pregnancy. My husband and I have been married for 8 years (got married when I was 19) and have been trying to get pregnant for 5 of those years. Within the past 6 years, I've had 3 miscarriages. None of them lasting past the age of six weeks. Two weeks ago at our doctors appointment we heard the heartbeat for the first time! Needless to say, it was a magical moment.
Originally from California, USA, my husband and I have been missionaries for three years now, working with an organization called Youth With a Mission, and living in Mazatlan, Mexico. It's a lifestyle we have fallen in love with.

Sorry it has taken me so long to reply. I have been so busy! Anyway the u/s was great!! The baby was moving like crazy. Dr. said everything is fine. So that is a relief. How about you? I hope that you are off bedrest, and feeling okay. So when is your next appointment? and by the way if you don't mind me asking how much weight have you gained so far. I gained 7.5 pounds in 3 weeks!!! I think that is a lot but I dont know. I am always hungry! Alright enough for now! Hope to hear from you soon. Hope you and baby have a great day! Rachael

I really hope u get a little boy! I just found out this thursday that I'm having another boy. My hubby and I were kinda hoping for a girl but boys are alot of fun too. Now my 1 yr. old son will have some one to play with and share amazing memories for many yrs. to come. Take care!!

yea thtas what i did. i am glad i joined though cause its funny that the more you read the more you realize that all of us cant be crazy lol! thats what i get when i tell my family how nervous i am and i just cant go through another miscarriage. they say you think too much, you worry too much, you are crazy to think about all that just be calm and see what happens. so when i joined the site i saw well every pregnant woman must think and worry too much unless we are all crazy :)

I am sorry to hear about your m/c's. That is what i am so scared of. Also another problem I have is that I did not find out that I was pregnant until I was 6 weeks and 4 days pregnant. So I was drinking alcohol and smoking cigg's constantly. I quit everything the sencond I found out but still I was pretty far along. That makes me scared for birth defects. I am just worried all the time about everything. But I have seen the heartbeat and I go aagin on the 8th of April so I cant wait. I wish you the best!! hi there! thanks for your message. i'm so happy for you with your little one, our due dates are pretty close although i'm pretty sure this one is going to be later in november or maybe even 1st december! will see, my sister was 2 weeks later and the midwife think i will be the same. anyway, thanks for your message and good luck with everything! : )

Hi, Stephanie!
Welcome! I just joined on Monday. I am due at the end of November, but I already know I will have the baby quite early via C-Section as I will not be allowed to go into labor, so I am actually due around the same time as you, LOL. So we can communicate and let each other know what is going on etc.
