Hi Everyone!!

I am officially 19 weeks pregnant as I write this and wow it has flown by!! My first scan at 11 weeks seems so long ago. I suffered really bad in the first few months, I could not keep any food down and ended up going to hospital 3 times needing a UV as I was so dehydrated!! I also had so much stress in my life I was so scared I would lose my little baby, so when I saw him/her still wriggiling around and waving on the 12 weeks scan it was a very emotional time.

At 13 weeks my sickness came to a complete stop and I have since enjoyed the feeling of this baby growing inside me! The kicks began at 16 weeks when I was watching Sopranos!! They have got stronger since!!

My next scan is on the 19th May and I am soooo excited about it, I will then be 23 weeks pregnant, we have decided not to find out the sex although I am hoping for a boy! As long as the baby is healthy and happy then it doesn't matter though!!

x

How`s my pregnancy doing?

oh gosh poor you i get this ,,i got a large pack of rennie the other day which help,, milk takes the edge off it but it comes back , you will only feel more comfy when you get some gaviscon, rennie, tum tums or other form or tablets of liquid for htis.. my baby don`t stay still either.. he also likes to stretch out i`m sure.. at this stage and onwards it can be more uncomfy especially if he gets under your ribs...good luck..have anice weekend..smile

hey i am guessing sometimes. but the bum is so big and round and always seems to be sticking out of my tummy. its funny isnt it when they move around its like alien. are you feeling fit? i started to feel sluggish so 2 weeks ago i went on real health kick with food, cut out all crap :oh my & exercising everyday. its so tiring keeping on top of it all. some times i think oh what the hell then i think god i've gota be fit for the giving birth bit. trying to practice my squats. i go to a public pool for the aquanatal class as my gym doesnt do anything like that. your midwife should be able to tell you stuff in the area. how you doing with everything any aches and pains or are you ok xxx

Scubagirl - Friday, 20 June
Congrats to you too. The pains in my abs have settled down now, thankfully. I think it's the just normal growing pains. I feel really good these days, except when bub decided to rest on my bladder. You look stunning in your picture, I must get round to uploading mine. Good luck with your little one. x

im small too. ive only gained 5lbs and people wont even ask if im pregnant bc theyre scared they might be wrong...haha, id rather be small than big though as long as the baby is okay.

jenniferbrown - Wednesday, 18 June
Dont worry! People say the same things to me about being little. I just tell them that the baby has decided to wrap himself around my spine so he wouldnt poke out to far! LOL.

the bottom is sticking out 2 inches left of my bellybutton and head is under my right boob. if i put my hand on my stomache he tends to move round so your hand then cups his bum and then he pushes up. last night he did it to my partner for the first time, who melted just like I do. are you into alternative stuff? i am booked into natal hypnotherapy course which uses deep relaxation(hypnosis) to help you go through birth calmly & with reduced pain. paul mckenna on tv did it to a woman & she felt no pain until the actual birth. theres loads of courses in london. also reading a book which has been amasing help http://www.gentlebirthmethod.com/ got to be honest i'm not scared but i am doing alot of mind preparation. oops really long message xx

Sorry I havnt replied for ages, been in Mallorca. My midwife just rushes me in and out, tried to ask her position of baby last time and she said hes too small. Dont know whether I am one of the healthy ones so she is leaving me to it but I do wish she'd give me more info. She didnt even measure my tummy. Baby is kicking loads & I have started to communicate with him now. Started last week, when he kicks i make a fuss & tap and stroke the kicking area and he goes mad and kicks more. Took longer for him to do it with my partner. heartmelting. have you tried? xxxx

Thanks so much for your comment! I am doing great now the burn is gone and now I am tan, which I am excited about. I have been wearing between a 30 and a 50 spf, and drinking tons and tons of water! With the kids out of school for summer break right now we are swimming at the pool almost everyday...

hiya,
interesting to read that people have been given or told to have zirtec, i usually take this for hayfever but since being pregnant, ive been told by my GPs that i cant, so theyve given me PIRITON and i have BECLOMETHASONE nasal spray, usually i take rhinocourt but i cant have this whilst im oregnant either!

Anyway, my sympathies, i know how horid it is, bless ya, hope you get sorted out with something mate xxx

lukxyz294 - Friday, 6 June
i broke out with hives early on in my pregnancy and my dr. recommended zyrtec or benadryl. First, I tried benadryl since it was cheaper...but it only helped temporarily. So i bought the zyrtec the next day and it was the best allergy pill ever!!! u take one and ur good to go for 24 hrs, whereas, wen i took the benadryl, symptoms would come bak 2 hours later. So i definitely recommend zyrtec if your allergies are pretty severe... hope u feel better.

mrs.rodriguez - Friday, 6 June
I actually had allergies this past week. I called my doctor and they told me to try sudafed, benadry, or alavert.

mbecker - Friday, 6 June
Stephanie,
I suffer from hayfever as well. My dr. said that you can take Zyrtec for allergies. You can get it over the counter. I don't know if you have this drug in the UK though. I hope it helps!

HI Steph, I have suffered from hayfever since I was 17 and I know that its a total pain, especialy when your pregnant. I was told by my docter that its fine to have the nasel spray (Beclometasone) and there is also eye drops (cant remember the name) but I get both these prescribed by my docter but Im sure that you can buy them both over the counter.. I hope this helps you. And I hope you are well. Regards Christina. X
