ABOUT ME!!

Hi everyone my name is stevie im 17 years old. I am 19 weeks pregnant and cant wait for my baby to arrive so i can meet him or her.. In the past week i have felt my baby move so much.. Its so exciting.. I have been with my babies daddy for 2 years on the 24th June.. We are so happy to be starting a family even though we are young.. We cant wait for the day we get to finally meet our bundle of joy.. We have decided that we aren't going to find out what we are having because its more of a suprise at the end.. i would put some photos up but my scanner isnt working, so when it decides to work ill update my page..

THE STORY!

Monday 12.11.07 at about 5pm i started getting some little pains in my lower tummy.. i ignored them because they werent anything painful.. at 11pm they were still there so i rang the hospital and they old me to have a hot bath and if the pains went away then it was just false labour..so i did and they went away.. i woke up tuesday morning and i felt like i had wet myself (but i hadnt of course) and i had bit of brown mucas on my knickers. so i rang the hospital and she said my waters might have broken or ive had a show. she told me to have a shower, put pad on ad call them back if the pad got nymore wet..it didnt..i carryed on with my day walking everywhere visiting people.. id had afew contractions all through the day and they progressivly got worse and worse..by 5pm they were coming every 5min at 40-50seconds long i rang the hospitlal again at 6pm and she said to me to come in. i got there at 7pm and i was 3cm dialated. my waters broke at 7.45pm while i iwas hving a bath..when i was 6cm dialated i had an uncontrollable pushing urge and my cervix was starting to swell.. the doctors said to me that i had to have epidural to stop me pushing so my cervix would go down again. i had that at 12am..at the end of ech contraction his heart rate was dropping and the doctors had to put the heart monitor on his head..at 4am they put a hormone in my drip to start up my contractions again. at 5am they got me to start pushing again and little Naviah John was born at 7.43am on the 14th november 2007..

19 weeks

On saturday night jason felt our baby move for the first time..He was so excited..i go for my first ultrasound on monday YAY!!! I cant wait.. I cant believe how much hungrier i am getting it so crazy..Im starting to pop out now to.. I'll write again on monday and tell about my ultrasound..I hope everyone is doing great :-)

20 weeks

Im 20 weeks today half way yay!! I woke up this morning and it felt like there was a circus happening in my tummy..it felt so strange..it was like my baby was spinning around in circles and breakdancing or somethiing..it was bizzare..I cant wait ot meet my baby..only 5 days until my ultrasound..YAY!! so excited :-) Cant wait..If anyone can tell me aboout how your first ultrasound goes please do.. Hope everyone is well..

My Ultrasound

On monday i had my first ultrasound..it was so exciting..according to the scan and the measurements my baby is totally normal..but he tried to tell us that our baby has an extra flap of skin above its top lip??? to me it doesnt look like skin it looks like the babies mouth is open and his/her tongue is poking out a bit.. if anyone else has been told that or has any suggestions about what they think it might be please let me know..my sscanner still isnt working so i cant put my US pics up to you..He also told us that by looking at his measurements my baby is due on the 09/11/07 not 31/10/07..so we'll wait and see when my baby arrives.. Hope everyone is doing great..

21 weeks ( if my due date is 31/10)

Last night (thursday) i had some horrific pains in my belly.. the only way i could get rid of them was by having a hot shower or lying down with hot washers on my belly. it wasnt very nice.. at first i thort they were hunger pains but after 3 hours of them and after eating i knew they werent hunger pains..when i woke up this morning after waking up about 3 or 4 times during the night my pains were gone.. i was hoping and praying that they werent going to come back because i had work all day (7.3am - 4pm) and i need the money..my hopes and prayers were answered because they havent come back touch wood..my baby is very active tonight so that to me is a wonderful sign..I had my midwife appointment on thursday and she said i had nothing to worry about with the extra flap of skin on my babies lip..i also went to my first antenata class and i was the only one asking questions lol..i weighed myself while i was at my appointment and i have put on 3kgs since the beginning of my pregnancy..other than my pains my week has been really good..I finally got my scanner working so i will put up some pics from my US and some pics of my bump in 'Photos' at the top of my page..Have a good weekend..

22 weeks

Hello everyone so now im 22 weeks and my bump is getting bigger and bigger by the day.. My baby has been moving double what it was last week..its so exciting.. i went to my 2nd antenatal class on thursday ..It was about birth and pain killers.. This thursday and next thursday are the same.. When Jason and i were walking to the train station after my antenatal class had finished, this lady came out of her yard and was staring at me..I couldn't work out what she was looking at untill she said to Jason and i, " You's are going to have a boy! i just saw it." I didn't and still dont know what to think..It was really weird..So we will have to wait and see if she 's right..I hope everyone is doing well.. Have a good week..

23 weeks 3 days

Howdy all im poping out alot more now its a noticable bump..my baby is crazy he/she is always awake when i wake up and is forever moving around..a couple of mornings ago i was sitting in bed and i was watching my tummy move as the baby moved..jason saw it to and he was so amazed..the baby did this weird move and it felt like he/she ws rubbing the top of his/her head on the top of the inside of my belly..it felt and looked so funny..jason came to 2 antenatal clases with me and they were all bout the birth..we watched a video that showed the whole birth, he couldnt get over how painful it looked..when we got home he was telling all his friends about it lol..he makes me laugh.. i love my baby more and more each day..i just weighed myself and i weigh 64kgs.. i think my pre-pregnancy weight was aroung 57kgs..i have put up afew more pic of my tum so please have a look..i hope everyone is good and are having good a week so far. :-)

25 weeks

well im getting along now only 15weeks to go..its abit scary..im geting bigger now to so alot more of my clothes arent fitting me anymore :-( i have 1 pair of jeans that fit.. my baby is loving waking me up a bizzare times in the morning and during the night like at 1.15am and 5.45am and then keeps me awake by kicking and moving around..my baby has a sleeping pattern now its awake at certain times.. Jason was talking to the baby the other morning and the baby moved down to where he was..it was so cute, he had the biggest smile on his face..my mum felt the baby move afew nights ago she was so excited..i have decided that im going to go with the due date that i got at my ultrasound which is the 09/11/07 because i figure that with their measurements they are probably more acurate than the midwives..well ive put some more pics up of my tummy so have a look and see how much bigger ive gotten..i had to take out my top belly button peircing i was a little upset but its still open so fingers crossed it stays open..i hope everyone is doing great and has a lovely weekend :-) How many ultrasounds has everyone had?? i thought u had more than 1???

27 weeks

hi everyone how u all going? good i hope..im going well i weighed myself tonight and i now weigh 65kgs..im getting fat lol..my baby has been getting the hiccups alot lately lol its so cute..my baby shower is on sunday YAY im so excited..i went abit overboard and invited around 30people (ooops) i cant remember half the people ive invited either lol..i am starting to tell now that its getting cramped in my tummy for the baby because the movements are so much stronger..i nearly have an outy belly button it looks so funny lol..i had my last antental class on thursday and it was a tour of the maternity ward and birth suite..after being in birth suiteit made evrything that little bit more real and a little scary lol..well i hope everyone has a fabulous weekend and ill update again soon..xx

28 Weeks

hello everyone i hope u r all well..ive got 12weeks to go and i feel like an elephant lol..My tummy is feeling so heavy and my babies movments ar so much more defined than last week..i had my midwife appointment on thursday and i had to drink this yuk drink and have a blood test and have an injection..the blood test hurt more..when i went in for my check up the midwife was feeling around for my baby and she said the baby was in breech position, i looked at my tummy and said "you had better get out of that position in the next few weeks" lol i dont want a c-section thats scary..my baby shower went good not many people showed up though..an half of them didnt even even tell me they werent coming..i got some cute stuff like blankets and cothes and a bath with baby elmo on it, a thermometer, baby bag/my overnight bag 4 the hospital and afew othe little nik naks..i hope everyone is having a good week and has a good weekend..chow for now xx

30 weeks 3days

hey everyone how u all doing? im going relly well except for the odd foot under my ribs lol..ive got 9 weeks 4 days to go and im so excited..today i washed all the clothes that i want to take to the hospital with me and i think ive picked afew to many lol..all the clothes took up a quarter of the washing line lol..i go on maternity leave in about 3 weeks and im excited to be able to relax for a bit before bub arrives..jason was talking to the baby and the baby moved over to where his voice was it was so cute..ive taken a few more pics of my belly and put them up..i hope everyone has a good week and ill update again soon..take care xx

35 weeks 4 days

hey everyone how u all doing?? its been awhile since i last updated..I am now experiencing some pain when the baby moves maybe its just leaning on something it shouldnt be.. i have 4weeks 3days to go and then i find out if my baby is boy or girl..i cant wait..i have just about finished packing my labour and hospital bags just in case bub decides to come abit early..bub has its own bag with clothes and nappies a toy some bllankets and its own toiltery bag lol..last time i wrote i wasnt on maternity leave..i am now on maternity leave and loving it.. i couldnt imagine working at this point and time i feel to huge and my belly is in the way a little to much now lol..i have discovered a stretch mark thats about 1cm long..i hope it doesnt get any bigger.its right on my right hip and its so ugly lol..i was told that my baby was breech at my 32week midwife appointment so that was abit scary but at 34week appointment he/she had turned to head down bum up i was relieved..i really didnt want a ceserean.. i hope everyone i looking after themselves and ill update again before bub is due..take care xx
