My name is Samantha, 22 yrs old. My boyfriend is 29 years old & is the most amazing person in this world. I never wanted children with anyone until I met John. I'd always said children were just not for me. So our story basically is we decided to start trying for a baby in September, got pregnant in October & ofcourse b/c we were so thrilled that we "worked" as we call it we told EVERYONE! I'd heard your not suppose to until 12 wks. but I didn't give it a 2nd thought. So December 13th I went in for my 1st ultrasound. Needless to say (and I still have nightmares over this image) the little tv screen was completley empty. I never knew I loved something that much until I lost my baby. I stayed up nights crying on my couch, didn't understand. I still don't. But my boyfriend and I decided we were gonna try for another one. I bought the pregnancy test in february & waited until it felt like it was time. That time came March 1st, my boyfriend looked at me and said you should take that test (he swears he had a "feeling") so I took it, looked at it 5 min later nothing, I threw it in the trash, after 15 min. John said he wanted "to be sure" took it out the trash and low and behold there was the faintest pink line. So needless to say no one found out minus parents until I was like 13 wks. I guess you can say, the m/c I had has made me relish every little thing of this pregnancy even though I had morning sickness till 5 months & let me tell you this sickness was ALL day. Not fun when you work a high paced 11 hour job. I'm just so excited to meet my baby & bring her up in the values my parents did for me. I'm so excited to say I've never been out of the country, however in May 2009 (Avery will be 6 months) & we both will be taking our 1st out of the country trip with daddy to go see his parents in Costa Rica.

June 26th

Ohmygod! Today is the day. Wow 20 freakin weeks! I go in 2 and a half hours to find out what my baby is, can I just tell you, I am now officially SOOOOOOOOOOO excited! I know its real & I know god has bless me & my boyfriend with this baby & I can't wait to find out what it is....I've had boy dreams, but last nite I did have a girl dream, so who knows! I don't care either way! My only fear is I go in & the baby is being shy and will not show us its stuff....I hope its like my last ultra sound, I have pics of its legs sprawled out, oh well I will update again this evening. Later that day 12:00.... ok so I am writing in pink so it must be a GIRL!!!! Oh my god, I love her. Avery (Ava) Skylar Olmeda! Oh and I was measuring 24wks today instead of 20wks, butttt they want to wait to see in 8 wks how much bigger Avery has gotten. I cried, my first time crying when seeing her. The ultra sound tech did 4d pics, I'm very sure people pay for those, but she did them & I didn't pay a dime. She has my nose & her daddies full lips. I can't believe I am having a little girl, I'm so excited now, I can finally start her room & buying clothes! Yeah oh & her hb was 146...Anywho, gotta go back to work.
