Hi!!! My name is Swan! I am 30 years old and pregnant with my 4th & 5th children. By the way, we just found out it was twins at our 18wk appt on 5-8-08!!! At first it was only one baby...lol I have 3 daughters now ages are 11, 9, and 7. I am very excited yet nervous about the birth of these twins.. I recently lost 2 children back to back. One son on June 30, 2006 at 26 weeks due to a twisted umbilical cord and another son at 16 weeks on September 27,2007 due to Trisomy 18. I am so nervous about this pregnancy but I pray and hope that they will come into this world healthy. As for now, all ultrasounds and blood work have come back great. The doctor says that everything is looking fine. Your prayers and comments are greatly appreciated. One Love!!!
6/12/08- THE TWINS ARE DOING GREAT!!! HEARD THEIR HEARTBEATS ON YESTERDAY AT 152 AND 154...DOC IS JUST TELLING ME TO TAKE IT EASY BECAUSE HE WILL BEDREST ME!!!! OR HOSPITALIZE ME!!! HE SAID HE WANTS TO KEEP THEM IN MY STOMACH AT LEAST UNTIL THE 36WK MARK!!! I AM SO EXCITED YET SO EXHAUSTED!!!! BUT GOD IS SOOOO GOOD!!!
8/1/08---WOW WE HAVE MADE IT TO 30 WEEKS...I AM SOOO EXHAUSTED....THESE GIRLS ARE TAKING EVERYTHING THAT I HAVE....WE HAD A 3DAY STAY IN THE HOSPITAL AGAIN LAST WEEKEND...BUT ALL IS WELL NOW...JUST SEVERELY DEHYDRATED AND A UTI THAT I DON'T KNOW WHERE IT CAME FROM...BUT WITH ANTIBIOTICS AND PAIN MEDS WE ARE OK....THE GIRLS WERE MEASURING IN AT 2.10LBS AND 2.5LBS...AT 29WKS...WE GO TO THE DOC AND FOR OUR MONTHLY SCAN ON TUES AUG 5TH...JUST TO MAKE SURE THAT ALL IS STILL WELL WITH THEM....I AM JUST SUPER TIRED AND BACK IS KILLING ME....ANOTHER 7-8 WEEKS TO GO AND THEY WILL BE HERE...I THINK IT IS MORE ANXIETY NOW THAN ANYTHING....WE HAVE ALREADY GOTTEN ALOT OF THEIR THINGS NOW....MY SIS IS HAVING MY BABY SHOWER ON AUG 16TH...I AM EXCITED ABOUT THAT ALSO...I AM MISSING MY DAUGHTERS RIGHT NOW THOUGH....THEY ARE WITH THEIR DAD FOR THE SUMMER AND WONT BE HOME UNTIL AUG 20TH...THEY CALL EVERYDAY...AND BABY GIRL BRIONNA WANTS TO KNOW IF HER SISTERS ARE HERE YET...AND I KEEP HAVING TO EXPLAIN TO HER NOOOO NOT YET....SHE HAS A THING WITH TIME...LOL!!! BUT I AM MISSING MY LIL GALS...THEY ARE SUCH A BIG HELP TO MOMMY....THANK GOD I HAVE A GOOD SOON TO BE HUBBY...LOL HE IS SOOO PATIENT AND SUPPORTIVE AND I KNOW THAT I HAVE BEEN DRIVING HIM INSANE....BUT I LOVE HIM DEARLY....AND HE IS SOOO EXCITED YET SCARED ABOUT THE BIRTH OF HIS FIRST AND ONLY DAUGHTERS....HE WILL BE A GREAT DAD!! I HAVE SOOO MUCH FAITH IN HIM......REGARDLESS IF HE IS NERVOUS OR NOT....I LOVE HIM SOOOO MUCH....SOMETIMES AFTER BEING MARRIED TO THE GIRLS DAD FOR SOOO LONG AND BEING IN A RELATIONSHIP I THOUGHT THAT I WOULD NEVER MEET ANYONE THAT WOULD LOVE ME AS MUCH OR EVEN MORE...BUT GOD IS GOOD....I AM SOOO DESERVANT OF HIM....HE IS MY BEST FRIEND, MY LOVE, MY PARTNER, MY WORLD...BESIDES GOD......BUT WE COMPLIMENT EACHOTHER....JUST WHEN I THOUGHT OK...THIS IS IT...I MEET SOMEONE...AND FALL IN LOVE ALL OVER AGAIN...AND THIS IS A BETTER LOVE...A LOVE WORTH FIGHTING FOR.....WORTH SACRIFICING FOR....AND HERE WE ARE ABOUT TO BE BLESSED WITH 2 MORE BEAUTIFUL, HEALTHY DAUGHTERS.....GOD IS GOOD...AND HIS MERCY AND TRUTH IS EVERLASTING!!! GOOD NITE TO ALL...I AM GONNA TRY AND GET SOME SLEEP NOW!!!

Uuggg. That is so cool about the twin part. I am a twin and I weighed 8.5 lbs and my brother weighed just a little more than I! My poor mother, she was on bedrest for her whole pregnancy and gained like 75 lbs! She had preclamsia and she was in the hospital for the last month and half! I have no room to bitch! But, I do hope you get some rest. Do your kids help you? My daughter has been put to work now, but she is five, so it is about time! You have a great outlook. 8 weeks is just around the corner-take care.

Girl I haven't even started. Remember I was telling you the situation with my mom. She was telling me not to get anything because she wants me to have the shower first and then get whatever else I need then. So I was like cool. Well since we have had the falling out I find out from my grandmother that she is not giving me one. I should have just started buying things anyway cause I know how my mother is. Yeah my daughter used to go to NJ to visit her dad every summer but he started telling my daughter why we ain't together and this other mess so I stopped that real quick. I used to miss my baby so much. I know how you feel. I'm technical support for a dumb company. I hate it here. I also do the travel agency thing on the side. What type of work do you do?

Yeah I know what you mean. You can get bored very fast sitting in the house. Atleast you don't have to be bothered with work. It is driving me crazy. Not too much longer to go then I can switch jobs cause this place is a mess. lol I am going to stay home with her as long as I can. Yeah my boyfriend is excited as well. We can't wait. It's going by fast though. I would love to have a quiet house. Just not happening. lol

Oh my gosh, I was in the same boat. Tylenol PM helps, my midwife said I could take it. And I bought a body pillow. The last two nights of sleep have been great!!! My hips don't hurt, my legs don't hurt,and either does my belly. I recommend it highly. I did not use one with my first baby, but this time I am much bigger, and like you was getting NO sleep. Wine will make you tired initially, but then you will wake up at 4 in the morning wide awake. : ) Good luck!!

Awww. Try to sleep as much as you can during the day. You're on bed rest right? I find if I sleep during the day on the weekends I feel so much better. Still can't sleep at night but it's ok cause I slept during the day. I should get my results back in a couple of days. She wants me not to gain anymore weight. She told me to drink less juice and milk. She wants me to drink reduced fat milk as opposed to drinking whole milk. I hate reduced fat milk but it's only for 2 more months right. She also wants me to get a C section. Since they keep bothering me about it we are just going to get it done. I guess. We talked briefly in the car when he was dropping me off. I told him I hate the recovery and he was like I'm here and will help you so don't worry about that.

Ya poor thing. why do think you are not sleeping? Are you drinking any caffine? You know....my doctor says it is okay to have 4oz red wine a week. But red wine is not the cure. Can you use any tylenol pm? I can use it a couple times a week per doctor. Try taking a bath or breathing exercises before bed. Cal Meg helps at night- which we all need for our bones. Can you rest during the day? I know I am picking your brain. Or....call your doctor if you can get a sleep aid. Those can be used in some situations. I remember last week you wrote about this too, so if its a problem talk to your dr. Good luck sweetie.

We didn't find out about the twins either until I was 5 months along. I also went to the hospital at about 3 months because I wasn't breathing right and I couldn't get enough air either. They couldn't find anything wrong. When I went to my last appt at 28 weeks, they said the girls weighed a little over 2-1/2 lbs. I never know how they are positioned because after every ultrasound they move around constantly for the next 2 days. I feel pretty good though....tired!!

I'm not sure how much she weighs as of right now but I can tell she weighs alot because when I try to roll out the bed and actuall sit up it's like Whoa baby. I have to sit there for a minute or two. My last ultrasound was May 29 and she was 1 lb. I have a doctor appt Monday. I am going to ask her when I go. Girl she was kicking my boyfriend hand last night when I was trying to sleep so after awhile he moved his hand thinking so will stop kicking so I can sleep. She started going crazy, kicking and punching like she was mad. So I made him put his hand back so she can calm down and she did. I don't know what that was all about. lol How are you and your little princesses doing.

The bouncing back part isn't scaring me it's the pushing that I'm worried about. I don't want to have another C section but at the rate I'm going it looks like I will have another one. I hate the recovery from the C section because it takes so long.

Ok I just got off the scale. Why did I do that? With my first daughter I weighed 120 before I got pregnant and 140 when I had her and she wore 7 lbs 15 ounces. With this pregnancy I was 120 before I got pregnant and now I am 181. How am I going to make it another 2 months. I will be 200 lbs by then with a 15 lb baby. I am so scared!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi hunny, sorry been so busy havnt been on for a few days.
We ordered our nursery furniture via the internet & all of a sudden they are delivering with out calling just an email, & i cant seem to speak to anyone so we have been frantickley trying to clear out the room
We dont have baby showers here & both our families are small so they are going to give us money to get what we need closer to the time.

I hope everything goes good for u my doc says my due date based on my period is oct 20 but he is measuring a week a head so oct 14 but my doc wants to take him at like 37 weeks which is sept 29 so i have NO idea when we are having our little guy i go in next wensday for an ultrasound and i hope to get some kind of answer then

Hello, I just wanted to check on you and the babies. I just read your post saying that the babies are doing well and you heard their heartbeats. What a blessings to be carrying two beautiful babies. How are you feeling? I have finally started having sleeping issues. It is taking me forever to get to sleep and find a comfortable position. But, I just keeping thinking, it is going to be over before you know it. I just woke up and still feel sleepy. lol Your pictures is pretty. I was so use to the other one, I had to click on a couple pictures to see where you are on my page. lol You do not look pregnant. Especially in the face, my nose has speaded across my face. Lord, knows it did not need to get any bigger. lol But, your picture is beautiful.

Oh wow! You're gonna have a house full of women!! That's really good tho, you have twice the blessing. I hope I have twins...eventually lol. I'm doing pretty good, just in shock by how fast time flies. I can't believe my son is 5 months already! Take care of those babies and may God continue to bless your fam!
