Thank you for your comments, I couldn't agree with you more.

congrats on the pregnancy!

jh1983 - Saturday, 26 April
Well, after losing 10 pounds in two days the doc decided to put me on zofran. it worked for me, not so well at first, but once the first trimester passed it got better. I can generally make it through the day without feeling the nausea.

HEY! I had the worst morning sickness early in my pregnancy (i am still trying to get over it in week 28)...but i ate plain bagels and cream cheese every morning for the first 4 months.

It sounded good to me!

YoungMum- - Saturday, 12 April
Hey just about your sickness I had really bad morning sickness like I would throw up at least 6-8 time a day the best advice I can give you is see your doctor about it, I was placed on a tablet which stopped the lot. You take them 20 mins before you want to eat or you could look at whats in your food and what foods make you feel the worst and try to minimise them just for a few weeks. But definately check with your doctor. Hope it helps.

Thanks so much for your comment. My Dr.'s office doesn't have a midwife, so I guess I need to ask my Dr. how he feels about it. I feel optimistic that he'll be open to it. Thanks!

katie459 - Monday, 7 April
Thank you so much for your advice! I will try it! Take Care!

jamfam - Saturday, 5 April
Thank you so much for getting back to me today. The information was perfect I will see my doctor on the 14th and I will talk to her about me delivering in this position. Blessings to you.

jamfam - Friday, 4 April
Hi this is a question for you I saw your comment on the forum for birth plans. this will be my 4th delivery and I would very much like to try the standing delivery I was wondering do you actually stand or squat or are you on your knees and is there some special request I should ask at the hospital for this.

Just found out we are having just one baby too. Saw and heard the heartbeat today.Dr says I have a couple cysts that are actually pushing my uterus up causing me to appear farther along. So happy but cautious at same time. Praying this baby stays put. Hope you are feeling good.

We have had 3 people tell us we were having twins before we even got pregnant. One in December shortly after our m/c and two in February. Two of them were women in the church and the other was my father-in law a deacon in our church who dreamed of his other grandchildren before they came. If the lord decides to bless us double for our trouble, thats fine with us. Praying for you and your baby(s).

Are you sure you are not carrying more than one?? I am wondering myself as I am 6 wks pg with my second child and my clothes are already tight and my belly button is sore. I am going for ultrasound Friday to see how many I am having. (I want twins and I know I released at least two eggs when we got pg. I'm pretty busy in my church and have had to cut back my activities. I have never been this tired before in my life.

Thanks for the kind words. I think everyone else must feel like I'm an awful person. Don't get me wrong, I like feeling the hiccups...for the first couple of minutes! If I felt them higher maybe I'd feel different, but I feel them really low. It feels uncomfy after a few minutes. I hope you have a great day! :)

cjmc2577 - Monday, 17 Mar
i suffer from migraines before i got pregnant. i am still getting them i finally go to the hospital when its the 3rd day or more. wishing you all the best.

i hear you about the very revealing maternity clothing out there!! i have also had a hard time finding ANYthing that is not like totally low cut! i do not wear clothing like that! mainly my whole pregnancy I have been stuck wearing total of about 3 shirts, and i have to wear a maternity tank top under them!! and since i cant fit any of my jean skirts, i have been wearing ones with stretchy wastebands. so i know how you feel!!! lol, now since ive pretty much outgrown all my maternity clothes i am stuck wearing big t-shirts till this baby decides to come out!! haha sorry i wasnt much help!! lol but congratulations on your pregnancy!!

Thank you for your message. I don't want to miss all the 'firsts' and I am kicking myself for setting up this lifestyle that requires two incomes. I am going to sit down with my husband tonight and see if we can come up with a plan. I know it can be done. By the way, you mentioned you homeschool. How crazy is that what the California Supreme Court just ruled. I think that is totally ridiculous and hope it gets overturned immediately. My husband is a teacher at a large private Christian school and even he wants our kids home schooled.

I read your post about craving salt. At the beginning of my pregnancy, I used to open those little salt packets at work and I would use salted pretzel sticks (I dont even like pretzels) to eat the salt of the plate. Since I dont like pretzels I would throw the pretzel away when it got soggy and get a new one. I could not get enough salt though. At home I was salting everything! How funny! Good luck to you.

What kind of problems did your sister experience with the epidural??? I was told only like 1 in every 200 or 300 women who receive epidurals have any problems, and they are just mild backache and posssible headache/migraine, I wish I can have an epidural free birth... Also when they finally did break your waters did the actual breaking of the water hurt??? don't they use like a long crochet hook???, also did u ever experience post partom depression or baby blues??? if so or not what did u do to beat it or to avoid it???

my-lil-miracle - Tuesday, 11 Mar
Thank you so much and of course i have some more questions... did u receive an epidural with any if so how many centimeters were u dialated at the time u felt u needed one??? the standing idea is actually one i have contemplated, it makes sence, i just don't know how much control i would have over the dr.'s and midwives, i am having my son in a major hospital with Kaiser Permanente, i want to write out a birth plan, but i don't know how much it will be respected because i am so young. I don't know much of what to expect, any info on that will help... also how far along were you with each of your children when u gave birth??? any induced??? How long did it take for your body to adapt to normal??? did ur stretch marks fade alot???

my-lil-miracle - Tuesday, 11 Mar
Can u tell me a little more about the 'pushing and no tearing' method... I am 32 weeks with my first child.. I am 18 and VERY NERVOUS.... I am pretty sure my baby will be at least 8 lb.'s, so how big were your children??? how long was the labors?? and how long was the pushing??? I want to know it all!!! I really do NOT want to rip or have an episiotomy... all the info helps, thanks!! also did u do pernial massages or no???

jdejallen - Monday, 10 Mar
congrats!!!!!!I am from TN also.

mattie4 - Monday, 10 Mar
thanks for sharing that with about your episiotomy, i have had three already without one and had a small tear with each of them that required a couple of stitches. I always just listened to my dr when they said to push and when to stop, i had an epidural so i never felt it. I am planning on doing it without one this time, and i was wondering...you just helped me out alot :). thanks

BAMBINA2COME - Sunday, 9 Mar
